The app only works half of the time. You usually get the error message "OkHttp client request failed." It seems lately that's all I see, as when that message comes across, nothing else will load. The exception is that the profile page will work flawlessly. I'm saddened at this, as the app was my the only way I've been able to keep myself motivated on improving myself. This was the only thing to have helped me, and now it's buggy and not wanting to load.

I'm so excited to use this app! I've been a long time follower of Hybrid Calisthenics, but have always had a hard time with my dedication to a fitness routine. So far, the app is really easy to use and navigate. As a bonus, the intro is quick but effiencient and there are funny jokes that I, for one, appreciate. As someone who struggles with the ease of an app and getting to the point of exercising without extra fuss, I am very happy with this app so far. Thumbs up from me!!!

App interface currently offers no way of viewing history of exercises. Furthermore, there is no way to start from the middle of the hybrid routine. You have to start from day 1 base progressions. Maybe there is a workaround but it is not user friendly. Lastly, the incessant ads are beyond irksome. Honestly, there is no reason to use this app over just browsing your website.

I really like the program (& Hampton!), and wanted more than just two exercises per day, so I got the paid version. I expected to get at least a few new exercises that would automatically integrate into my routine, or that I could actually "customize." However, I was dismayed to find that the paid version gets you only two new exercises (total of 8) that you have to go hunt for to use them. How is this is "customizable?" At this point, the app is not worth the money. Pretty disappointing.

Love the content of the app. Presentation could be a little clearer, and doing an exercise from the library should count towards the same history on your normal journey/vice versa, but otherwise it's pretty rock solid. My biggest complaint is that the app signs me out every time it updates. These few small changes would make this 5 stars for me!

The content is great, but it really isn't usable as a fitness tracking app. I'm a beginner so the guidance of how and where to start was my main draw. However, it's still super buggy. There were multiple times where it just wouldn't let me track any progress that day, which threw the whole routine out of wack. And with no way to go back and edit or even see what your previous workouts were, tracking progress in the app seems useless.

Update: The new ~$120/yr monthly premium rate was a bit of a shocker. I'm all for paying to get rid of ads, but that's the same cost as a basic gym membership, for an app that's still being developed...*sigh* Guess it's back to using the book/cards. A lot of fitness plans claim to be scalable from beginner to advanced, but you would need to see a personal trainer for 3 mo. just to get ready for their so-called basic exercises. This app looks like it delivers what it promises and more. I love it!

so far the app is excellent. the staff takes to heart what people are asking for and adjusts. I would like to see a timmer for some of the stretches added. there is a timer for rest but I haven't found one for the active parts of the exercise. I know it would take a lot of work. I would like a audio guided option. last thing someone mention the premium is the same cost as a normal gym, no it's not. planet fitness has a 10$ a month but 90% of the time they tack on 80-90$ in the background.

Overall needs to be further developed. Still no progress tracking over time, and the app has slow loading times. I have an issue where if I exit the app on the middle of the workout (during the rest period for example) the app just crashes when I come back and I can't log my workout for the day. I also would have like to be able to manually type the # of reps without having the clear out default first. I appreciate the videos and form cues, and think the app conveys exercise instructions well.

Performance of the app has gotten worse with each update. Additionally, the routine really needs an option for whether the user wants to move to the next progression in an exercise or not. Maybe we want to stay at level 3 of the current exercise for a bit to build up more strength, or maybe the next level is physically impossible (like the Full Twist) depending on your body type or certain disabilities. Very frustrating in an otherwise decent app.

The exercises and instructions on the app are great. The app, though, is very buggy. If I check what the workouts are in the morning, a few hours later, it no longer shows me the exercises of the day. If I try to manually select them from the exercise list, I can still track the workout, but from a schedule perspective, it doesn't capture it, and will ask me to do the same exercises the next day. If I wait too long to capture a set, it resets the whole workout and I have to reenter it all.

The exercises are fantastic. Most start out easy to build correct form. But quickly ramp up in difficulty until after about a week every day is, well a workout. I can feel myself able to move esier throughout my day. However that's only when the app works. I don't have the newest phone, but I shouldn't need one. I can usually log the first exercise but half way through the second it often crashes. If I can't log it then it gives me the same exercise twice and that doesn't let the muscles rest.

It seems pretty cool! But sadly, it isn't accessible for low-vision/blind users on Android :( I could barely make it through the selection steps without everything clipping off the edge of the screen or the buttob missing the text. I know it would work for lots of other folks, though! Keep up the awesome work!

Hybrid Calisthenics is one of my favorites! As someone who struggles with mobility, the exercises that are shown with a range of different difficulty levels are a much-appreciated detail. I love the fact that you can choose your rest day and add on whatever exercise you want, besides the plan you make at the beginning. It still has a few development issues, but it's still completely usable!

I've been using this app a couple weeks now and it's just what I've been hoping for... short exercises that I can do at my own pace without a lot of workout equipment, or annoying chipper videos with music. I like how the exercises get progressively harder at my own pace. it's nice to already notice how I've gotten stronger. Just wish I could customize each workout to balance difficulty for myself each day. it was nice at first to not have to think about that but now I'd like more customization.

It's a great app for a beginner like me. It offers tons of variations and guidance to help me pick the best workout for myself, guides me through each step, and even gives advice on things like my form or when it's time to stop my set. It's like having a personal trainer in my pocket! The only thing I'd want to see added is a sound or voice cue when it's time to stop resting, so I don't have to stare at my phone.

I really like the workouts and there is so much info for cues and modifications that make this sooo helpful!! a couple glitches, which is why only 4 stars so far, I paused during the warmup and then when I pressed play it kept jumping ahead exercises. and then also the break timer between exercises doesn't always work when away from the app screen, I don't get a notification when the break is over. I got stuck reading the web comic 😂 which is also really good so far by the way!! ty for app!!!

The workouts and progression along with the jump rope I was already doing are perhaps the best daily fitness regiment I have ever found. I'm keeping my 5 star because I want to help others find this app but it also isn't perfect. I don't get notifications when the rest timer ends. I also would like the ability to edit my workouts after they have input if I messed up somehow. Lastly, if I start a progression and I decide I don't feel up to it, I'd like the ability to change it after I started.

Love it! Very easy and intuitive to use. The opening survey was very accurate in determining my starting level. The progressions and tutorials make it very accessible and the workouts are reasonable which make it very motivating as someone who struggles. My only suggestion is to add an option to edit the number of reps or an "Is this correct?" check of some sort. The +/- is right above the Save button, and if you hit Save once, it becomes permanently recorded so I've misrecorded a few times.

Fantastic app for anyone just getting started with bodyweight fitness, or for anyone looking to advance their strength and skills. The videos are straightforward and easy to follow. The overall feel is very encouraging and cheerful. I'd like to see the app have an easier option for changing the routine, because once you get started you can't really change how many exercises per day you want to do, which exercises, or increase/decrease rest days. So more flexibility here would be great
