I have the previous app installed and it worked very well. Then the new version was installed because off the old version suspended. In the new version i cannot scroll down my zones in Watering. In previous app it was all there and the watering times in calendar format or per day. Then the saved files is no longer there as in the old version. Previous version was more user friendly.

nice app, easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that it use to report the actual rainfall amount in mm from the rain sensor, it no longer does that.

Great app that works flawlessly. Super reliable. 4 years now without a hitch, without need for direct access to the controller. I have separate zones for citrus, front and back yards. The app provides means to service quite different needs. It's (very) hot and dry here in Tucson, I would soon lose thousands tied up in landscaping it was not the case. The only caveat is that you'll need a home network with reach to the location of the controller, which is usually outside and out of the way.

Worst update ever. total garbage and the previous version (which was more robust) can not be restored. 9/14/25. I've removed my Beta user status hopefully that would have helped with recent issues. Nope. Still garbage. fortunately the PC version is still robust. When the App version matches that I'll update to 5 star

Android App is HORRIBLE. issues with Bluetooth connection, and downloading existing programs. I am 54 minutes into installing & configuring the app and it keeps failing. Rebooting the phone was not the solution.

Terrible. Previous version was unintuitive, the new Sep 2024 one is worse. I have to manually irrigate (load shedding) and now I can no longer view a report of the week to see when last I watered which zone. I have to go into each zone individually, scroll and try and remember which one was watered the longest time ago.

haven't had to log in for a few months as I don't use sprinklers over winter, tried today to get ready for the warmer months and I can't, for some reason I have been logged out and my password isn't working, reset password doesn't work. what is going on?

What a disappointment, the old app provided a calendar approach (7 day view) to the watering schedule. The new app can only be viewed a day at a time and not even the whole day (on phone must scroll just to see full day. Intuitive design is subjective, but coming from a career where I was the business owner of a user app, this one is not intuitive! Use the key features loved by users as a base line for new app design. Thank you.

New version of the app is difficult to use and does not support all the features of my controller. Using the app in NOT intuitive. Setting a schedule is cumbersome to say teh least. Last night (10/1/2025) I tried to look at the watering history and the app told my my controller did not support that feature. This version of the app used to support reports. What happened? You need to fix this immediately!

What a trash app experience. Forget password does not work due to missing captcha widget. Registering a new account doesn't work either since they ask for a transfer of ownership which asks you to name your watering zones. Seriously, these app developers are bufoons... Who knows the name of their watering zones? Set up once and not looked at again. Oh, and this failed process just gets to a dead-end, with no help or further steps.

Hopefully this version addresses the disconnect problem with my wifi router. I'm sick of all the disconnects. This is the only home automation app I have that won't stay connected to my wifi. Every other home automation app automatically reconnects if power goes out or if there is a wifi issue. The Hunter controller does not automatically reconnect and randomly just disconnects on its own. In my case the Hunter controller is literally 6 feet away from my wifi router! Not happy!

I previously gave the app 1 star because it lacked the ease of use and speed for common actions when compared to the previous version. As of now, it is improved but still has a few issues. For example, when manually running multiple zones, it doesn't let you pick a run-time. Each zone auto-fills the default time as you select them. If you click "select all" at the top, a box appears allowing you to enter a run-time. If I want 2 zones to run for 20 minutes, I have to deselect all the others.

Incorrect report data. Not the most intuitive, very inconvenient interface. But the worst part is that it is very buggy. For example, right now I can't edit my preconfigured schedules. Probably will need to delete and recreate to work around. Had to work around other problems too. Please get your quality to a level which justifies the product price. This is a premium product and requires quality software to operate. If I was starting over, I would get a different controller.

wifi controller that costs an extra $100 never works, never connects or stays connected. If the controller actually worked and you could use the things in the app it would be great but nothing about the wireless system and controller works at all. most frustrating, out of date, junk system I've ever installed

I dunno why they had to go and mess up the app, but they did. The new app is not any better and made doing some simple things (like turning on the system for just a bit) an absolute pain. I have also had a lot more connection issues with the new app that I never had with the old one. About half the time I get a message that the controller is not connected to the internet. Never had that as a problem with the old app. Not sure what changed, but, I can still see it connected on my router.

I hate the new version/layout as it does not have the reports like the last version. It gives daily information instead of weekly monthly bar charts. Super hard to navigate or to create schedules and programs. Suspending programs is a nightmare. it won't suspend by multipe stations by program if that program runs over midnight. When I want to change things, look up statistics, or have a watering issue, I dread using the app. Plz add user experience BEFORE release. Bring back the last version!

I really like using this app! Particularly during these very hot summer days, it is great to water early in the morning as the sun rises and then in the late afternoon when the sun no longer is cooking my plants! the manual feature is great!! The app will continue to support the automatic schedule and allow you to override it in the later hours. Also, easy to understand and setup, especially for an older guy like me!! 5-stars!!!

This update is horrible. Forced me to install it. The first thing it shows is telling me my subscription expires in 10 days. Given I never subscribed to anything, this seemed wrong. moved past it, tried to manually start a zone, and it wouldn't start. Had to try it 3 times to finally start. Then, trying to stop, it was a nightmare. Kept saying it was stopped but the sprinklers were on. Had to keep starting and stopping it almost 10 times to finally stop. Give us back the old app that works.

The water trigger for water longer when hot does not work for me. I have it set for 20% extra watering when over 100 degrees, which is about an extra minute if the normal watering time is 5 minutes, but it just waters 100% extra no matter what percentage I input. So it waters for 5 extra minutes when I just want 1 minute. This extra watering has caused fungus to take hold. Not a happy camper with this app. Have double and triple checked my settings and I am 100% sure they are right.

At this point in time I'm going to give this product a two star rating. It was very difficult to set up. I ended up having to set it up through my WAP which still disconnects every now and then. I purchased the product with a 30 days return policy so I might end up just returning the product if it continues to disconnect from my wifi router consistently in the next 30 days which it pretty much has been doing and it has a good signal my wifi says strong.
