I often getting errors and spontaneous reboots of the app. Sometimes clearing the cache helps. Today I tried using the website and I couldn't authenticate. So I tried to reset my password and I got an error. I guess you don't want me to order your food. Over the past year I've noted your app and online presence doesn't work well. While I'm at it. I can get a Veterans discount when I'm dining in, but not when ordering remotely. You can verify my Veteran status online using several methods.

It works but sometimes tricky! In the beginning I was able to get my points. Slowly it became a problem. First I wasn't able to pay through the app, then points wouldn't load, then the cashier's weren't giving me my barcode, finally the app stopped showing my points. Every time I didn't get points I had to contact customer service and I got them within a day or two. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app for my points to show again.

it just doesn't work. i try to order as guest and it says there's "some error" in processing the order. i made an account and when i log in i can't "due to invalid data" and i KNOW i put in the info correctly. i assumed it was some kind of online server issue and tried again a few days later. same thing. the app itself is just really sloppy and barebones. you're better off using a third-party food delivery app.

Well once I uninstalled & reinstalled it works great. I can finally login. It was easy to access the menu and order items. I had no issues at all. I take off a star because logging in issues & something better than the button lighting up in red would be better because there were pop-ups that covered top of app making it hard for me to figure out if or what the issue was. And then having to uninstall. Other than that it would be a 5 star for me.

"Nice and easy. Quickly was able to sign up with Google link, order what I wanted, scan card with phone (had options to input manually too). Took 5 minutes." Above was my original review. Ever since I was forced to update it, it has done nothing but crash every time I wanted to add an item to my checkout. In addition to this, it redeemed my rewards, took 30 points off, and then crashed again, keeping the points in the process. Just order in-store and save yourself the headache.

They changed their rewards system. Now you can use points mostly for pancakes. You used to be able to pay for biscuit breakfast, sandwiches, and normal food. Now it's 90% pancakes and they overcharge rewards for even the most basic and cheapest egg breakfast. I never cared for pancakes, so now that I can no longer use rewards for food I actually eat, I don't see a point of going to ihop or using their rewards system. Complete fail!

Ordering is easy and convenient. Menu and prices update per location. Unfortunately the customization on their menu items needs some work. I ordered food and found out while ordering (someone was picking up for me) that they don't have an option to exclude Whipped Topping (one of the few things I don't like). I then had to call the store to ask them but they were busy and understaffed. Upon paying I discovered that Google Pay does not seem to be built into this app.

This app is a continuous problem. It gets "stuck" on logging in. I uninstalled/reinstalled and after 4 tries I got signed in. However, when I tried to see/add my rewards I got an error message that they were having problems accessing rewards. I see people in the restaurants trying to use the app and they are having the same issues. What's the point in this app if you can't trust being able to access your rewards when you want to use them?

Can't use or collect rewards. App acts like service temporarily down or something, but it's been doing this for over a year now. Why even have the option at this point? Also, the order tracker doesn't appear to ever recognize when you've picked up your order or that it's ready for pickup. It always says the restaurant is preparing order (I forgot exact wording). Besides bad programming, app allows me to place orders and food is ready in a timely manner. So, at least a 3-star from me.

The app almost never works correctly when trying to order or use points. It has so many errors, including sign in errors, my state not being valid, and multiple credit cards getting declined for no reason. The website doesn't work any better, so it sounds very much like an issue with their web developers. Clearly, they don't care because the issue has been ongoing for almost a year. Deleted the app. They are generous with the pancoins because you'll never be able to use them, hahaha

It doesn't matter how many times I reset my password, it tells me I am entering the wrong password. Then, every few months, they reset all of the passwords, so we have to go through making a new password all over again. Only one order per day earns pancoins. If you make a small order, then make a huge order later, oh well. Sorry about your loss. No pancoins for you

An virtually non-functional app. I've tried time and time again, and the app does not complete your order. I've tried updating it, using Google Pay, entering 3 different credit/debit cards, and even using the app from a different, more recent phone. It's like they don't even want your money.

The payments never work, it's been months since I've been able to put in a pick up order. First the card option stopped working and soon after the Google pay option just signs you out when trying to use the option. I used to order food every weekend and now I don't. I keep trying and after multiple attempts I have yet to get it to work even on a new phone.

IHOP really doesn't want my money, with this app. 4 seperate times now, the app has declined my transaction stating that my payment was unsuccessful. There's no way to troubleshoot it, and customer service isn't helpful at all. Card is an active card, and I've had no problem paying for pickup before. But it still doesn't work with alt payment methods.

The app isn't terrible. My only gripe is that sometimes, I prefer grits over pancakes, but you can't make that type of substitution when ordering through the app. Also, they changed the rewards program to where you can't use pancoins for anything other than breakfast items anymore. And the amount that you have to use to get free pancakes...yikes.

App is easy to use. Redeeming the pancake rewards is confusing the first time but easy after. This is one of the best take out rewards programs as well. Edit: They changed the reward system. You can only redeem for breakfast items and they drastically jacked up how many points it takes to get a meal. Complete scam now. Used to be a regular customer but they're greedy and there's no incentive to be a loyal customer anymore.

Can't pay for orders in app with a credit card. Seems like a nice app. Allowed me to select everything I wanted. It is very easy to find things in the menu. Just won't take my credit card so that I can place an order. Tried on several occasions, but no change. So we just end up ordering from somewhere else whose app does work. So, IHOP keeps losing my business. It's not good if IHOP wants to keep their customers. I wonder how many other people do the same thing besides me?

This app does not work. When trying to place an order, it is impossible to pay and complete the order process. Selecting Google pay signs you out and deletes your order, requiring you to start again. Selecting credit/debit card is the other option, but the privacy statement blocks the entry fields and there is no way to dismiss it. Leaving no way to place an order besides gift cards. How apps get shipped by major companies in this state is beyond me.

App never stays signed in. It's just IHOP, not a banking app. The payment through Google Pay was weird. I've never had to put so much info to pay with Google Pay. If you put the app in the background, in about a minute or so it will already sign you out and clear your order. There's no way to customize amounts like "easy on the cheese", it's either getting the full amount or not getting any. The custom omelette has a bunch of missing ingredients, you can't even add grilled chicken.

The app will send a notification for curbside saying it's tracking my progress and will bring my order out. However, I always have to call the store location to bring out the order. The estimated time frame for pick up is always wrong. I always have to wait extra long for my food. What's the point in allowing the app to track my location if I still have to call the store AND wait 10-15+ min after my supposed up pick up to get my food?
