I live remotely in the mountains, the reception is terrible at best, plus I've got an android. I have yet to successfully login which is why I put my time in through the 'timesheet entry' option. My county office is always difficult, not helpful or rude. I'd rather be at the dentist office for an extraction. Finding 'that sweet spot for service' would make me late EVERY TIME! So how can you fix that?
Reviews for IHSS EVV Mobile App
← Back to IHSS EVV Mobile Appthis app doesn't recognize me I can only sign in on the Internet app doesn't work
It would be simple and nice if when I checked in, the app would show some type of indication that I have already checked in or who I checked in with. This could avoid multiple check-ins and/or any other possible timesheet errors. Once I get busy with my client, it's hard to remember if I checked in or didn't. If I already did, I can't tell. Sometimes, I don't check-in/out thinking I already did leading to missing check ins and/ check outs. Thank you for your help.
Its just waste of more times then check in check out and calculate the hours. This up is unhelpful and most be dismissed asap. I spent whole 30 minutes to checking in, it keeps saying error evv0006. I checked in and out since July 1st but not sure my hours are calculated. IHSS need to make everything easier for providers not the opposite.
The only problem I have with this app is that right when I open the app it shows a pop-up that says error and to contact the number provided and I press ok and it doesn't go away. I have to press it 5 times for it to get off my screen then I'm able to clock in. And when I am done checking out and press the go back to the home screen button it says error again. So far it doesn't mess with my clock in and out times it just has annoying pop-ups that say error as if it didn't capture what I did.
243 calls in front of me for the support line, from day one this app did not work and kept having errors. I worked a 5-hour shift and I clocked in and clocked out properly like it told me to but it said I only worked 0 hours. Let's just be real for a second and say they are just trying to make it harder on commissioned workers to work.
This app hasn't worked right since we were forced to do check ins and outs. Doesn't work. Doesn't accurately keep track of time. I have to spend more time of my day fixing the errors and missing times. It almost feels like I'm having to correct their mistakes constantly. This wasn't tested thoroughly and accurately and is adding more unpaid work time while I have to do their own payroll. Any lawyers out there interested in a pro bono case for potential Labor law violations 😅?
Buggy. It says that I've successfully checked in, then gives me an error. I'm not seeing the hours automatically populate like promised. Hopefully these issues get corrected in a future update, but for now it feels like an exercise in futility that no one benefits from.
Keeps giving errors. If you only have one recipient you still have to select them each time you clock in and out, but the location is pre-selected for you and set to home, which has already caused me issues when I've forgotten to change it to community. If there's only one option, the app should select the recipient for you. Visa versa, since it's very important where your location is, the app shouldn't default location. Also, why is check in and check out always an option?
This app is terrible! I don't know who's "smart" idea this was to get their kicks out of torturing employees, but this app sucks! There is forever an error no matter what I close. I even clear out my cache before I clock in/out, and I still get an error! I constantly have to fix my time online because this useless app doesn't work. Oh, and what is the point of calling the help desk when the reps themselves don't even know how to fix the problem!
I think this app is far to limited. I think the web page and app should work together. There should be a "notes" field, should we need to add one. I also think there should be some kind of drop down menu for those of us who come more then once a day so we can check in and check out more then once. Also the app should be able to identify a new day when applicable like after midnight. A faq. Should be made available If this app clocks us in and out, it should enter the said hours too
I Wish I could give it no stars but 1 will do. This app is just terrible. Error pop ups every time. Now it won't let me clock out. And it says I don't have any recipient's. It doesn't record the time you worked, only when you clocked in and out but you still have to record how long you worked. What's the point? The old way was better if I have to do that too. It would also be nice to have other options to choose from like resources and video training. This developer is not the right fit.
Does the basic job, but could be improved with biometric login and automatic calculation of the time worked (or at least display the check-in time on the check-out screen so users can calculate & record their hours).
The android version is terrible. My experience so far: navigating through the app, an error pops up when checking in or out. The background screen goes dark, error pops up, repeatedly tap ok as the pop-up comes back again and again and background screen gets brighter and brighter. And then when I check on a PC, sometimes it doesn't even register. I tried on iPhone and it works well from what I see. App needs fixing.
I've had trouble with this app from the start. I've never liked the idea that it tracks my location. additionally, it's buggy: it consistently forgets my username and/or password, & recently I haven't been able to log in at all, I only see a blank screen when I open the app. uninstall & reinstall has not helped.
can't log in anymore. the app notification is turned off and can't be changed ornturned on
Tried to check in July 4th at. 3:00pm and after several times and got a "system not available now" tried again at 3:51pm and was able to check in. There is no way on contacting support to fix this error. So according to your system I loose out on almost an hour of work. I think this was created too quickly and not meant to benefit the provider.
This is what happens when you get your timekeeping system from the Dollar Tree. I don't even blame the developers because they clearly had some limiting factors in making this abomination. It's buggy/cumbersome for me and I was in tech before this. Why is it that we have GPS tracking but we don't have an auto pop for a day's total time? When I do my timecards I have to go to use another site to figure out what the time between variations of 10:07am-3:43pm comes to. Over it and ready to quit.
Poor design! Stupid app, when it does work, it's just ridiculous! I thought that this was supposed to make everything easier and more streamlined. Fail! You have to check in and out which is fine but it says that it automatically puts your time in on your time sheet yet you still have to calculate your time yourself! I don't know about anyone else but I'm not necessarily going to remember the exact time I checked in to the minute. So calculating time is not going to be reliable.
It's a bit of a nightmare. You have to log in every time you open the app. It's always throwing an error code. It doesn't keep track of hours & and minutes, so you have to calculate it yourself as well as remember the exact time you checked in and type it in, but so far everyday this week, 7/1-7/6, the app said i checked out but it didn't log it so I have had to log in on the website and log all the end times and durations.
