The potential of having the data on cloud is huge, but I think this app missed it fundamentally. It is SO frustrating that - the app allows manual input of previous scans, but only allow 5 figures, 1 of them being height🙄. No segmentation figures supported. I still have to keep the paper reports (I have 7 years of them), and not able to track details. - doesn't support full export of report, only gives partial export. I have to make an excel sheet to keep track of my own data. Not cool.
Reviews for InBody
← Back to InBodyI am so frustated with this app because it doesn't matter how many times I try to open it, it will always tell me that the server is down, and that I should check my internet connection. My last record on the app is from like 3 months ago and I have had assessments taken since then that just won't update. I think I will just uninstall and relay on the printed results from the machine.
Buggy. App confused email and phone number. Failed to send code by text. Need to repeatedly reset password. Difficult to use. Difficult to set up a second user.
I love the scale, but I hate the app because it does not allow me to zoom in even after I changed the font size to xxxx large. I am using Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 phone and wearing my glasses while using it, and I still have a hard time reading the results. I have to return it.
tha app not working well at all. always have problem sometime connection another time server not working and it only on android version . if I can put low than 1 star i will do
I had my body analyzed 2 years ago with this system. I did not have a Smartphone then, so am pleased that my prior results were available and I can view them now anytime on the app.
The verification process to use the app is broken, and the contact information they provide returns an undeliverable error. Unfortunately, its currently unusable.
You REALLY need to work on your app. FIRE THE DEVELOPER!!!. You have an amazing device and a very good concept for an app. Shame to ruin it by such horrible quality of development of an app that keeps on crashing and glitching all the time.
just downloaded the app but it won't let me past the mobile and email screen, I keep resending verification emails that I accept but nothing! really annoying as the scan looks good in my gym. any advice would be really appreciated
the app and support is useless. I bought an inbody scale last year in Korea and tried to use the app. The app never connected to the scale automatically so I'd have to enter my data manually. Most recently, they removed the ability to enter my data manually. There's no way to track my info within the app edit: I've emailed support via the email they provided in my reply. still no response
We’re unable to even log in, it keeps showing an error saying there’s a problem connecting to the network. At this point, the app is completely unusable, and we can’t review any results. Please investigate and fix this issue urgently.
New user trying to link to account set up on gym machine. Sent in a constant loop of give my mobile number, my email, click email link and get 'verification success' message, return to app: nothing has changed and I'm left hanging. Next button greyed out. Tried restarting and clicking Next while button active: message to enter code from email - no code in email, nowhere to enter code. Online help isn't helpful at all. Fed up.
when i try to sign up, the app first asks for my phone number but i never receive any sms or authentication. it feels like they just want extra data to sell :/ then it asks for my email and tells me to enter a code in the app. but in my mailbox there’s only a “click to verify” button. when i press it, the browser says i’m verified successfully and can log in however, when i return to the app it keeps asking for the code again. the problem is there’s no code at all!😡💢 please help 🙏🏼
The connection to the scale is spotty so I have to reconnect often. Sync to Samsung Health doesn't happen all the time. But these aren't the major issues and I'm fine with that. What bothers me the most is that I don't see the Visceral Fat Level on the report. I see it on the scale and Samsung Health app after the sync but not on the app. I spent a while to look for an option that I might have missed but seems like it's not something I can change. I've seen Korean users having the VFL displayed
I've had the same phone number and email for several years, I recently downloaded the app again but there is no log on option, only register. I put in my email it says already registered. when I scan the inbody result sheet it says phone number does not exist, however its the number I've signed in with for over 5 years... there are no customer service options for clients with app issues, only for owners of machine. when I go online from a PC it will only let me try to register with no luck.
It crashes loading or never opens. I've been force-stopping 50% of the time and reopening. At best it takes a long time to open. I see reviews all the way back to 2022 saying the same thing, and that InBody is putting out updates, but i guess they never did. Other than that, the app features and displays are way better than I was expecting. I would have given it 5-stars if the app launched properly.
I love how to keep track of week by week but my very first in body test for some reason they didn't register, so when I manually input it they only give you like 4 or 5 options out of the whole list for you to input so if I lose this paper there will be some info lost... Thats why it lost a couple stars because it just doesn't feel complete, app developers could have giving you options to add in your score, total body water, intracellular water, extracellular water, and skeletal muscle mass
I just started using the inbody band2 and I don't like how it doesn't track my calories when resting, doesn't log caloric intake, or account for calories burned during strength training ie squats only walking. I like that it gives body fat percentage and other body composition stats, so I don't have to go to the weight loss doctor as much but aside from that FitBit versa 2 gives more info and is a little more user friendly. I will be using both but I feel like the inbody band should do more
The app is good for tracking data and stats. Ut has lost some good tracking since the recent update. My favorite chart was the one that showed where you are on the bell chart in comparison to the peers. Not sure why they removed it. The other data is very hard to use as I only use the machine once a week at the gym. It's a shame the app is so limited for me now.
Synced data once, hasn't worked since. Everyone I work with can't get the app to work properly with clients either. You try to update your entries and it says your data already exists... but it clearly doesn't show anymore entries. QR data update doesn't work either. Manual entry is the only option and you lose out on significant amounts of data. No way of accessing the InBody device to retrieve your results without running another scan. The App has poor functionality & unintelligent devices.
