This 4 track recorder is super simple to use and works well. I use it for making pretty basic recordings using real instruments, so I'm not at all interested in all the samples etc that come with most recording apps. This one has none of those, and basically replicates an old fashioned 4 track tape recorder, with a few extra features (e.g. align audio, looping, effects, editing). It has worked well for me for several years and I love it's simplicity.

An app without fault, without complaint. Stable crystal clear recording, available array of effects. I use it as a 'sketch' recorder, and it is utterly perfect. It syncs easily whether you use the device external or a peripheral mic/speaker, and since download I have used it every single day (probably the only non-proprietary app where I do) and my only guidance to users would be to make sure when you leave, you open up a new project, so the 1 second it takes to open means you're ready.

For what you pay, it's amazing. I wanted to get something to help me rough out a song before I sat down with a friend's expensive studio equipment, and was able to bang out a full song with 3 instruments and 4 voices within 3 hours of installing the program. Simple and intuitive interface of which I look forward to exploring all the ins and outs. Thanks for making a great product!

Great app but as far as I can tell doesn't support Bluetooth headphones. I've got a Pixel 9 without a headphone jack. Uninstall?

Very Simple and nice app for basic recording. Would however really appreciate a version with a RECYCLE BIN to cover for any accidental deletes.

I'm confused to see so many positive reviews. There's about a half a second delay in the playback of other tracks when recording a track. The only way to line up the timing is to turn on the metronome and turn down the volume on all the other tracks. This is a weird and fundamental design flaw that makes the app close to unusable.

I love this app & am going to use it more often. I'd pay for a file converter -it's great as is too. Public recording apps have a lot of rumors of theft and a lot of thugs too hard to just hear a track & resume their life. This app gives you all the benefits of a studio with out the drama that the rest of the apps have. I wish I could preview tracks before uploading. Now that Google music isn't a thing it would be useful but I use audiolab for that and for conversions. Still, well worth the $.

This app has been one of the most important things in my life for going on 6 years. Using the J4t I have recorded hundreds of songs and about a dozen albums. The in board effects are incredible and making mid fi recordings with great atmosphere is totally possible. I just love this thing. Recently, my phone got stolen and when I got my new one I found a model I liked and signed a contract for it...then when I got home I realized...no headphone jack. Please.. Blue Tooth accessible upgrade soon?xo

Awesome app! I've had this one for a few years and it's great for writing to get ideas down. I've had this now for about 7 years and the only downside is that I used to be able to name my tracks but the names never stick anymore. Not a huge deal for me because it still works great. Wished it was 6 tracks. I do 3 part Harmony and can't add a lead because the 4th track is the instrumental. 6 tracks would be great for total.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm a musician who wanted a four track recorder to work on ideas but didn't want to deal with major latency issues that I had with another app that I was using. Easy to use and create songs. And, if there is a latency issue that too is easy to correct. Also, has effects. I highly recommend this app well worth it. No need to look around anymore. This is it. Definitely five stars.

this app is FANTASTIC! at first I was confused how it all worked but after messing around a bit found it to be powerful to get down some ideas. I'll record verses on multiple tracks.. then bounce them all to a single track freeing up 3 tracks. then do the same with chorus tracks. doing so allows me to conceptualize how a song would sound in its entirety. I still don't understand how the effects work but they do work, and that's good for me.

Latency is a killer. The whole point is the use headphones and record a track while listening to a track, but there is a delay. sync setup does not work. turning app on and off doesn't work. turning headphones on and off does not work. everyone must be lieing, this app is a waste of money. I want my money back!

Just what I was looking for! I always have song ideas while driving. I hear whole ideas with all instruments so just using voice recorder doesn't allow me to get the harmonies of all instruments. With this, I can hum in the different parts and even "human beat box" the drum track! Perfect! I can retain those great ideas and record them for real later! Would absolutely recommend and already have!

Exactly what I was looking for. A simple, user friendly interface for recording rough draft songs with maybe 2 guitars a vocal and a drum track. These devs finally made what I've been needing for years and I'm happy to pay the $3.50 or whatever. I write folk songs and rock songs and sometimes I want to record rhythm and lead guitar parts. And to be able to export so easily is awesome too. Thank you guys for this, it's great to have during quarantine.

Perfect for quick/on-the-go recording when you have an idea for a song and you don't have access to any recording equipment. Works better than the standard sound recorder that's included on most phones. Use it with earphones that have a built-in microphone and it works pretty well for multitrack recording, so you can record a track and listen to it playback while recording new tracks. Awesome little app.

Exactly What You've Been Looking For. This app lets you record 4 simple tracks. No annoying ads, no forced social bs, just you and 4 tracks to lay down rhythm, lead, vocals, and more. It's a singer's dream. Easy to drop 4 harmony tracks with any melody that pops in your head at any time. Love the autosave feature and worry free transitions between this app and others. Great app but it has it's issues. I'll spend a good amount of time recording on several tracks, get the levels where I want them so that everything is sounding balanced, but then as soon as I mix them, some of the tracks I can barely hear and others are way too loud. Even though moments before it was perfect. Sometimes mixing works fine though. Very weird. Other than that it's a great app, just remember to save individual tracks before mixing if you don't want to have to redo them.

Absolutely perfect!! As a singer-songwriter you couldn't ask for more. It operates flawlessly on my phone and my Chromebook. No, I wouldn't use it to record a professional band, etc ... But for my purposes, it is absolutely everything I need and nothing I don't. Have not had any glitches or latency issues. It has a built-in latency test tool even. I do have a high-end phone and perhaps that may be the problem with people's complaints. How can you beat this app? I love it.

Used for years and years. Most of the low scores here are user error. People get frustrated learning a new app's functionality, and rather than use a process of elimination and testing effects, they immediately get mad at the dev and lower the score. This app is one that I put on every new device. It's always been the same (or better) with no ads or cost to the user. This kind of APK gold doesn't come along every day. With zero musical talent, I have created a track that got local radio play.

Still love the app. Been using this app a long time, and still have problems with latency, and syncing. But have recently found out its because i have an out dated device. The developer is TREMENDOUSLY helpful, and has been bending over backwards and sideways trying to help me figure out a workaround. Good guy. I will most definitely reinstall this when I get a new device. And would highly recommend anyone who wants a good 4track recorder on their phone to do the same!
