can't view the menu no matter what I try to do. stores that are open either aren't listed not can they be selected, but this step is necessary to even see a menu. water of time for those trying to save time at the store by knowing what we want before even going. this has been like this for 2 months and I'm sure you are losing new customers, potential customers and you are wasting everyone's time at the store and drive through. this is unacceptable in 2025, take em out back immediately

I'll be sticking with McDonald's from now on. At least their app let's me redeem rewards on their kiosks. 200+ points down the drain. Update it so you can redeem points without having to put a credit card in already. Why are you so far behind?
who doesn't enjoy Jack in the Box?!? Especially when ordering via the App! no waiting in line at the counter. walk in, give them your name, and walk out!! and the app often provides a less expensive pricing for most of your favorites, along with Digital Only deals, combined win a great rewards program that is so easy to redeem, even I haven't been able to mess it up!! LOL
Always simple, but no 5 star because delivery option is $7.99 and where I order from is a 3 minute drive. I work from home and sometimes don't want to go out in heat. Also, can only redeem rewards one at a time. I wish there were limit of 2 or 3 redemptions. But other than that, so convenient.
I can't add items to my order. Every time I get to a page with a combo it freezes. I can't add it or x out of it. I've reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, restarted my device, and none of it fixed the issue. I even gave it a few months to see if you'd fix it in an update, and nothing. 1 Star for an app that doesn't work.
No point having this app you can accumulate points for free food and when you try and redeem it will give you a random error. they've known its broken and haven't fixed this issue. I've got 160 points I Can't spend on anything. doesn't matter if u uninstall reinstall clear your cache force stop log out log back in the app won't let you spend any of your rewards. In some cases you cant even order your food it will say something wrong with your payment. you try and readd your card it won'tLetu
Not sure what happened, but the menu either takes too long to load or doesn't load at all. And if I do manage to get everything to load and added to cart, the order doesn't get submitted. Either an error saying the store can no longer take orders or something about there was an error with the handoff
This app is the whole reason I don't even bother with Jack in the Box. App rarely works, customizations are extremely limited, and deals & rewards work a tenth of the time. Do better. Edit: app is officially unusable. Every time I try and place an order my payment method "fails" regardless of if it's credit or debit. No exceptions. Absolute bs!!
The app is completely unusable for me and has been for the past 9 months or so. When I tap on an item that I want to order, the screen becomes completely unresponsive. I can't change quantity or add to order, but if I gesture back a screen, it works fine again. But then I select another item and the problem repeats. I can't get anything to add to my order.
the app is really easy to use and I like how quickly you can earn points and that you can redeem them right away, but the app doesn't allow to make many modifications to the food. it only allows you to choose from a list of limited basic customization options. it would be nice to add bacon or a certain sauce to a burger. a text box to add additional requests would also be helpful. thanks!
For months now, I have been completely unable to tap anything on an item's screen. I can navigate the menu just fine, but I can't customize, make a combo, change quantity, or even add to cart ANY item. Instead I am forced to use the website, as that seems to work just fine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and a number of other things to try to resolve the issue, but it persists. I genuinely almost never eat at Jack in The Box anymore, mostly because of this app being broken.
really was nice when you had food that was appealing on the digital deals where I could get items and it felt worth purchasing and I wanted to buy more because of the fact that I saved money. now it's much less interesting to me to open the app. seems like it doesn't have a major benefit using that over the drive-thru. points are cool, but it would be cool to use your points for whatever you want it for. what if I didn't like the digital rewards.
Relatively easy to use, however sometimes there's a little "game playing" when it comes to the "Deals"! I've had problems a couple of times with ordering the deals; the order is placed but when I get there, they say it wasn't on the order, or "that deal is no longer valid"! ... yet it was offered, and I accepted!🤷🏾♀️ Otherwise, the ordering system works pretty good!
Installed the app just to give this review. The phone ads are IMPOSSIBLE to close out. It takes 8+ times just to close out one page of the app! And there's 3! My kid has thrown both my phone and her tablet over it. The skip and x buttons don't match up with what's on screen. I'm pretty sure there isn't even a jack in the box in my area.
I tried to place an order on July 19, 2025, and once I finished ordering and tried to check out. And I would check the checkout button it would load telling me it's processing the payment and it would take me back to the menu to where everything I ordered was on receipt. It kept doing that for 5 times and every time I would do the same thing take me back to the receipt. I checked my bank account and it charged me 5 times for the same thing. My order didn't get through, had to cancel payment.
The mobile app is easy to use but once in awhile there are some glitches. Check out is a little confusing as sometimes you have to do it twice! Most of the issues I experience are with the delivery. They keep delivering it to the wrong apartment number or they have left it somewhere else!!! Unfortunately this kind of service has happened to me many times. Thankfully when I use GrubHub they always refund my entire cost. Without GH not so much, but they are improving their customer service.
This app glitches a lot. New products and certain sauces won't load on the restaurant's end (it doesn't show up on the sticker receipt but it shows up on my app receipt) so I'm always missing items. In addition, I hate that I can only redeem one reward at a time so if I have rewards for fries and a burger, I have to place 2 separate orders, which doesn't guarantee that they'll be ready at the same time. Also logs me out a lot. Just not an efficient or reliable app.
The new update kind of bricked the rewards. If you redeem a reward, you have to do it before you order. It puts the item in your cart, gives it a price, then won't allow you to check out. It even let's you checkout and charges you for item in your basket that it just told me I can't use because it's not in my cart. Also, they took away the ability to customize your items. You can now only erase stuff. Over all a colossal fail.
There's no point in using the app instead of just ordering at the place if you can't use rewards. Using points to get food in the app causes it to load unendingly when trying to check out and trying to order using points on the website says I can't use points. Something's got to change before I start eating here again because this is just embarrassing.
I'm convinced every fast food app is terrible, but this one takes it to the next level. It's actually impressively bad. I placed an order where the app confirmed it and everything, then sat in line for 15 minutes just to be told the order didn't exist. Reopened the app and confirmed there was zero history of it the order. It disappeared entirely. Complete waste of my time and sanity.
