I'm sure it's fine, but there's a 10-minute setup with no heads up that it's $35 a month afterwards with no free option. Listed as free but not a free app. CWS is great, but it's kind of shady that rather than selling the specific program benefits and USP, they rely on users being pot committed because "well I already filled out the survey."

If you're looking for powerlifting coaching that adapts to how you feel every day.. every workout, this is the absolute best option aside from having a coach attached to your hip every workout. The training adapts based on your weak points, lifting style, available equipment, etc. Unlike most templates, the workout can change between sets just based on the RPE of the previous set... there really is no better app out there. A good coach could easily cost ten times the price. You'll never go back.

I love that I can set up my workouts in blocks instead of only weekly, the warm-up suggestions helped me a ton prepare for for each workout quickly, prepping for a max even breaks down plates per side so you can't get confused, and now that I'm recovering from a surgery I've found it easy to tell the AI that my lower body has a low readiness and it automatically sets up for arm, chest, shoulder day. I'm looking forward to trying out the rehab exercises once I'm ready to. Great app overall.

Bad app. Unknown program quality. There is no free trial or reduced trial period. 34.99 for an app that could possibly just regurgitate all of the same generic programing that can be found everywhere for free. Additionally, I have no idea if the app is even functional and fits my needs. With the amount of stuff available for free, there is absolutely no way this app should exist in it's current form.

Could be better, limited by lack of basic programming knowledge. App previously deleted several weeks of progress, but got that back. They updated it though, so now instead of working half the time, it works about a tenth of the time. Just going to finish the block I paid for and leave the app.

Exhausted after many, many years of doing my own programming, and/or trying all the free programs available in the wild, I decided to give the AI a ride. What I am most impressed with is the adjustments the program makes in real time depending on how I slept, ate, how sore I am, my set RPE, etc. I'd like to think I've always done that intuitively in my own programs, but I try not to lie to myself. The ability to swap exercises, being able to set a date for a Powerlifting Meet, all bonuses.

I enjoyed this app for like 2 weeks, then it started crashing to the point I had to restart my phone to get it to work. Now that doesn't even fix it anymore. Really inconvenient, especially in the middle of a workout. Has been this way for several days now. *updated on 12.11.21* Still experiencing the same issue above with no improvements. If your app doesn't cash multiple times during a session then I guess it's just not working right at this point. Smh

The app has improved for me, Though this is not starter friendly. I'd love to see warmup weights added to the workout so I can keep track of things A plate loader should be doable, as well as selecting what equipment you have so you don't get recommended exercise you don't have the equipment for. It would also be sweet if it added an ability to select equipment on specific days, so there's different workouts if I can go to the gym on certain days.

Tldr: overpriced for what it does and level of polish on the app. Ok at a lower price point. I used the app for about 5 months. I didn't hit all time PRs, but I got close. The PB programs were insane. The powerlifting program was better. Hard to see the value actually being offered by the AI in most cases- it rarely felt different from percentage program+RIR sheet. The app had many small bugs, and there's no way to export data. For $10-15/mo it'd be fine, but not at current cost

I've been using the spreadsheets for the last 2 years and I'm loving the switch to the app. I love the variety of exercises that I can change between and the video examples on each. the readiness rating is also a big improvement. sometimes it's hard to rate overall readiness but much easier to rate different components. I've made lots of gains with juggernaut in the past and I can't wait to see the gains on the app!

Overall a nice application. I was intrigued to see how did it implement an AI without taking into account atleast a year of my detailed training history and progress. It is more like a software that adpats on the go based on basic principles of Fatigue, RPE and volume. I also did not like the that they did not display the price before making me signup all the way. Good way to make people download your app but a bad practice. Way too expensive for what it is worth there are cheaper options.

Did the free trial, and I think it's a nice app with a decent program. One of the main things I liked as a home gym owner is I could pretty much find exercises to replace something I wouldn't have access to. I know this is an easy criticism, but they need to drop the price down to like $15/mo. If you look hard enough you can find similar templates for free, and then customize those if you have the know-how.

Love it. It's very adaptable which helps me keep on track with my hectic schedule. I can do a shorter workout or skip a day. Best app program I've ever seen for someone who wants to get stronger but also has a life outside the gym. My only nitpick is with the rest timer. If I pull up another app, the timer won't announce the 30/10 second mark, and sometimes doesn't notify that time is up. Sometimes it will count down too fast, like a three minute timer is done in one minute. Mostly great though!

The idea is great. The auto-programming gets pigeonholed into the same exercises and you have to manually search for variants to change it up. I also found a lot of exercises to be missing from the index all together, I've added 24 since I started using the program about 4 months ago. All that was excusable. The constant bugs and crashes since the last update are getting very old very quick.

I'm a busy dad so when I do get a chance to workout I need the app to work. Wasted 30 minutes trying to get the app to load and just gave up. For $35 this is not the experience I expected. App is good, not great, when it works. Improvements that others have suggested like set timer and plate calculator need to be integrated in the app. Overall, app needs significant improvement to justify the price.

Ah, the old "let's show you just what we can do and how advanced and well made our system is by having you give every ounce of detail about your routine, making you think you can use our app freely, just for us to throw it out there at the very end that you have to pay $35 monthly to use the app AT ALL." * *Edit: just learned there IS a way to do a free trial, so redoing my 1 star review. Still only giving 3 stars because it is still a bait and switch advertisement technique. Not cool.

No free trial, but I had enough interest to subscribe for $34.99 per month. A day or 2 later I unsubscribed, uninstalled, & requested a refund, first through Google Play (denied), then by emailing the app developer and got no response. Do not subscribe to this app unless you are willing to spend at least 1.5+ hrs a day at the gym 5+ days a week.

Not a fan. The shady stuff with logins is enough for me to overlook decent weightlifting advice. By default, I dont like apps that make you input all of your info before telling you what plans cost. Then you can't manage your subscription from the app, and you have to know how to login from the website to cancel, and the only way to cancel is to delete your account entirely. It's hard to get a good workout when you feel like you're trapped from the start.

not really a true AI. it is just an algorithm : if user inputs x, then y. the problem is that user input does not have enough of an impact to truly be customized. it also gives way too much filler volume for no reason. with 1 minute rest on all accessories, the program was taking me 2-3 hours each day to complete on a 6x weekly cycle. edit: as my subscription ended, I could not log back in to see the numbers for each of my lifts for the 3 months that I paid for. 1 star

This "programming" is a joke. It asks no questions about what strongman events you have. It also generates the same generic workout again and again. I bounced between programs thinking I would at least get a different look each time..nope. To be frank Chatgpt prints better programming and at least offers some focus on events..and you can get that for free. So the "customized" part comes in the form of I can swap out the jazzercize exercises included in the programming? Don't recommend at all.
