i have been using this app since I started jumping rope (about a year ago) and have helped me get to where I am at today (7/1/19) but until recently with the new app update. it is useless and have less option to choose for exercises. My weekly routine has forced me to look elsewhere. […]

This app is fantastic. From begginers to advanced. There is something for everyone. Their ropes are as good as it gets. From speed ropes to 3# Different colors represent different weights. Changing ropes is a breeze for quick transitions. Most importantly, even if you don’t have weighted ropes you can still utilize this app. Enjoy!
Took a break and came back ready to work out, only to be confronted by a paywall ($60 on sale/year or $10/month). Some workouts still available for a limited time, and some basic challenges. A subscription model is ok, but with such expensive ropes already, even $60 annually is asking a lot. Personally, I’ve also […]
I’m quite let down by the app. The sole reason I purchased the rope was to simply track the number of jumps during my 30-60 minute personal workout. I only wanted to monitor the basic stats, but now I’ve realized it’s not available for free, and I have to subscribe monthly just for that feature. […]
I can only speak on the part of the app that I am using, the free version. Pros: Proper tutorials Versatility (more than just jumping rope) Challenges (if you don’t know where to start) Workouts (if you don’t want to commit to a challenge) Cons: So the ropes themselves, although worth it, are quite pricy. […]
I have loved this app. Just getting back into a regular fitness routine and I wanted to start skipping rope. Finding this app was like finding the perfect trainer, it just clicked for me. The instructions are super clear, the exercises are well balanced (some super challenging, others allow you to recover), and the built […]
This morning i went out to jump and the workout I had been doing was gone. I’d become good enough to do this longer workout fairly well, and I was getting better. I wasted time looking for it and for a replacement. There were only shorter workouts avail, and my consistency was destroyed. Your app […]
This app is essentially useless: the timer doesn’t work at all, it crashes midway into an exercise and you can’t go back to where you left off, it doesn’t calculate calories, etc. I waited for them to fix it but it’s been months and with each upgrade/fix nothing is resolved. Do yourself a favor and […]
App is great, but the limitations of free are not. I can’t justify spending $12/month on a jump rope app. I already bought an $80 rope set from you, and honestly I’ll probably buy many more in the years to come because I love it! I thought I could use the free edition, but I’ve […]
Buggy. won’t load workouts after most recent updates. I’ll press the workout button and I get a blank screen. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded it. I restarted my phone. Just can’t get it to load. There’s got to be some issue with the app trying to access the work out on your servers. I’ll […]
App is a lot less useful. Once they went to the subscription model, it’s more difficult to find something new to follow along to. They lock away everything under premium. I can only hope in time they get more competition in this space. who wants to create a Facebook with all the privacy concerns. Maybe […]
I bought the Get Lean jump rope set because of many recommendations from the Jump Rope Dudes and was super excited. I tried downloading the app and it not once successfully opened, always “unexpectedly stopping” or “Quitting”. As far as the ropes, I love them…but I can’t say the same for the app since it […]
So, far I like this app alot. I’ve had a lot of trouble coming up with my own workout regiments for the jump rope, but this app has completely changed that. Its quick and easy to learn, and the aspect I love the most about this app is the selection between lean, strength and power. […]
They’ve changed this app over the past couple of months and it’s not for the better. I wish I could turn the “next up” voice prompt. All I need is one prompt telling me what to do when its supposed to be done. It’s okay other than that I guess. The 30 day challenges would […]
Initially when I purchased the ropes a few years ago, I would have given the app 5 stars. However, I can’t justify that now. I loved that they had a decent amount of free workouts. I didn’t want to spend a large amount of $ on the premium. I have not been allowed to jump […]
The Crossrope app has been a fantastic resource! As someone who hasn’t regularly jumped rope for 20+ years I wasn’t sure where to begin. The crossrope app not only gives workouts for every fitness level, but also varies the workouts enough to keep you from disengaging. Jumping has quickly become one of my favorite parts […]
App is crowded & costly. I have been using jump ropes for years; from time in the US Marines & so on. I just want to change the gear & be more techie. I do not care much for the workout programs, videos, etc, I just need to use the “Free Jump” as counter, recorder, […]
Down from five stars. Good product when it decides to work. AMP handles have a habit of randomly disconnecting mid workout, either screwing up your numbers or forcing a full disconnect and starting over. Either way, it becomes a major annoyance when trying to beat older totals. Edit: given that the app has tendency to […]
This app is trash for Android use. I jumped several days that weren’t included in my weekly jump total. It counts while you’re jumping, but it doesn’t save that day’s jump for the week. You can not connect with friends on other platforms. I’m challenging someone with Apple. I’m not able to follow or see […]
Incredibly poor scaling for beginners, difficult to navigate, and overpriced. I am not a beginner. I used to jump rope three to four times a week for cardio and caloric burn. I am now trying to get back into shape. The Beginner Challenge is not for beginners. It escalated way too fast. It’s clearly meant […]
