I really like the readers voice, I'm just passed The Book of Joshua now. He also reads at a good pace. The only thing I would change is if they remembered where you stopped. For now I just write down what book and chapter so I remember it the next night.
Reviews for King James Audio Bible - Pro
← Back to King James Audio Bible - ProMy KJV audio Bible Pro does not play through the Bible. I like to listen to it as I sleep, It gives me peaceful rest. But it seems to be getting stuck and I have tried everything that I know to do. Please help. I thought
Super like this app. Love the audio voice. The voice is easy to listen to, very soothing with good inflection. Only con is I figure out how to turn off audio without turning off phone!
Volume goes up and down from chapter to chapter which is very annoying and loud when it's up! The player often forgets where I've left off when I go back to it. Please fix
Easiest KJV Bible I have ever used. Thank you for NOT making it rocket science. And I love that it's Alexander Scourby who recites the Word of God. His voice is pleasant to listen to. Please! don't change a thing. It works perfectly.
Wonderful app. Was using free, adds were annoying so got pro. Well worth it.
It's just a Bible, audible, with a version with a little music and picture background. Does not go to next verse automatically, but that's ok. It's free. No Ads so far.
Excellent study material, loved the continuous Book to Book Audio upgrades which is one of the best features. As a Pastor, I permit the Books to play as I sleep, (understanding the Spirit does not), I am enriched and instructed even in sleep. Bless you.
I'd like a refund of I can't down load and listen off line for the pro version, 4.99 Super basic. This doesn't keep your spot. No place to keep notes. Doesn't open to where you left of our shown what you've listened to. Doesn't have places for bookmarks to bookmark for your self.
I really love hearing the KJV. The dramatic effect here is great. My biggest complaint is the lack of the ability to have some sort of bookmark nor placemarker, so I can come back later and take up where I left off. I forget where I was and it makes it hard if you are reading through the Bible.
Update 2/8/22:. I can now pause via my Bluetooth headset and the app will pause when I turn it off and not keep playing. My two biggest problems. Now, all it needs is to save where you left off and it will be perfect.
Okay, thanks for telling me, but there's nothing I can do about my device that once had your app, and then drew a blank screen (so I took that app off of it).
See, that device was not an android device, and the app was functioning until the update.
Do you have a version of Holy Bible KJV Pro that can run on NON-android devices?
I like the voice; it is matchless. I would have given the app five stars if it had a verse-voice navigation tool and bookmarks. The app only plays chapters. Jumping to a verse to play related audio and stoping the app from playing continuously are hurdles that need attention and fixing.
Works great we love it but the only thing i would do to make it better would be to put a pause button on it because when you stop it with the button it stops it for a few seconds only then when you go to start it, it starts you back at the begaining again other than that its great. I stumbled across this by accident and we love it, so Thank You.....God bless you all.*** it needs a way to mark where you leave off after your done reading or listening so you can restart where you leave off !!!
Absolutely love it, play it every morning while I'm getting ready for work. I usually get about four chapters each morning. It has been my companion, in addition to my personal reading, through thick and thin; especially through covid. I enjoy the pace, and the slight British accent of the reader. He reads with his heart. There is something about the steady reading of the Word without interruption.. His word surely does not return to Him empty. I have often sensed the Lord's presence. Thank you.
I like the app. I even bought the PRO version. However, I wish it would keep my place in the Bible instead of it starting from the beginning every time. I have to write down the next chapter that I want to listen to so I remember where I am. It says in the notes on the app that you can make customized bookmarks, but I can't find bookmarks anywhere. I thought that would help to keep my place. If anyone has some suggestions, please respond. Thanks.
Was happy with this app. Now not so much because I am no longer able to copy verses to print for my Sunday School lesson. The KJV is not copywrited so what is the problem. Looks like I need to find a different app and Uninstall this one unless it is just a bug. If not it needs to go. I have the pro version at least for now. It no longer fills my needs. I went from 5 stars to 1 and is not what I need it for.
super simple and just works as needed. however, it would be nice if you guys could set dark mode as a global setting on the app and not per page. I use it at night sometimes and it's so bright every time I go to the next page
This works great for me because I need Bible apps to be simple and not bloated. This is the simplest app of its kind that I have found. I usually use it in a split view with another bible app, so I can scroll along in the other app while listening and always have the controls for the audio app in front of me. Reading while listening makes daily reading much easier. I'm glad there is an ad-free version. I hope they leave it as-is and don't try to "improve" it.
I give it 3 stars... considered giving it 2 but thought 3 was fair. the fact that nobody had forward thinking enough to allow you to bookmark or save your place is astounding... I just can't get over that. I can't get over the fact that I have to start at the beginning, then fumble through, to find where I left off.. on an app that I paid for!! If I am wrong, please correct me. should have been 5 STAR , probably deserves 2.
