Reviews for King James Bible - KJV Pro

← Back to King James Bible - KJV Pro

I really like this app and use it frequently. For some reason, the audio feature doesn't work anymore. I emailed support but never heard back. The app it still great without it.

I purchased the upgrade, it is great and not dependent on the internet. If the internet goes down you have a powerful computing Bible. My favorite Book. If you study it daily, you will find yourself less interested in other lesser books. What can stand up to a Book with God as it's Author.

I found it very easy to use once I learn how to get around and the settings were very good because I need larger print and the reading of the Bible by the narrator makes it very understandable and comfortable to listen to.

The only translation I use. I purchased pro to avoid the worldy advertisements. Worth every penny. Don't buy the sandwich, fast a meal and use the money to get the pro version. 🙏

The app is great, my only concern is that in the free version it has audio speed available and in the pro there is not. If it possible to add the audio speed I surely will give 5 stars. Thank you!

I have been really enjoying this app for a few years now. When I am not reading my hard back. I can read my KJV Pro app online, and offline on the go. I enjoy the Daily, and Evening verses. I also enjoy the Daily Devotionals. I only wish I knew where to comment, when at the end of the Devotionals it says to share my thoughts.

excellent app! The best Bible app I have ever had

The KJV Bible app is a transformative tool for daily spiritual growth. Its highlight feature allows me to mark and revisit meaningful verses, while the notes function helps me reflect deeply on Scripture. The daily meditation guides are insightful, offering practical applications that resonate with my life. The app’s simplicity and clarity make it easy to use, fostering a consistent habit of Bible study. It has become an essential part of my routine, enriching my faith and providing daily encour

I've been using this app for over a year and it has been great, however after the most recent update, the chapters and verses are all wrong. Very disappointed because I purchased the paid version. Update 2-20-21: The issue has been fixed, thank you! I am restoring my original 5 star review.

Love the app. I like that I can share the verses too. I only wish there was no tag or whatever you call it on the picture. I can always share your app to social media so others can know about it without the words on the picture. Anyway I still love the app itself though. Everything works fine so far 😆

Wonderful app. I enjoy the study resources and the tracking which encourages me to read God's Word! It is very easy to navigate and easy to read from my phone. I like the ad free version that does have ads that can become annoying.

I've own a copy of this on my tablet for over 2 years now and been pleased with. Cross reference would be nice. It does allow me to put multiple notes on a single verse for different commentaries and studies. The pop up verse in the notes saves not having to copy verses all over the place. Again consider adding a cross reference feature.

I have been using this app mainly to read on the go at work or when I don't have access to the paper bible and it has been very good. Simple easy to use. The Pro version is nice without commercials and I like the audio option. The audio option doesn't have music which I prefer.

Discovered a serious error. I started off reading 2nd Chronicles 20, as I am also reading my physical KJV bible, and I noticed that verse 2 is missing the word "in" where it is supposed to state "they be in Hazazon-tamar, which is Engedi". This app is missing the critical "in" within this sentence. This affects the meaning of the word of God. I am not sure if there are similar errors /typos throughout, but I stopped using this app and switched to another KJV bible app.

I bought this KJV thinking it would be nice to have a Bible at my finger tips. I love it. One problem though I recently had to uninstall it because the app was stuck in audio on 2nd Corinthians 5. I emailed etc with no fix. Anyways I downloaded it and it's fixed although I lost all my highlighted verses, oh well. Thanks love it.

I import my saved data and it just crashes everytime i hit notes or highlights. Im going to redownload the free app. So far money wasted until it's fixed. Edit:2024, Fri Dec20 still can't use "restore your data and settings" because everytime i select it and try to use it. The app crashes. This is the reason i bought this cool app. Thanks for fixing the import issues works great now👍

It was convenient for me, as I hated the ads in the free version. I don't have that distraction with this, and I think my study might have benefited from the increased ease of focus. I recommend it more for the contents than any particularly noteworthy features. It is a letter from a messenger of the good Word, so blessed are the people who spread it. You can get any bible app; (I chose this one over Gateway because of it's smaller footprint and improved offline functionality); just read it.

5 stars because it is The Word of God. I'm a little disappointed however that after upgrading to Pro, it hasn't carried over my (many) bookmarks from the free version so I have to refer back to the free or take a very long time building back up my list of bookmarks which is a shame. The dates I added the original bookmarks help me remember key times in my life as to when and why certain verses and chapters stood out. So I'll have to still keep the free version too.

It's a good app for doing Bible studies, easy to navigate, and has some very good features... but only gave ☆☆ because I can't reference all my "personal notes" on other devices unless I transfer them to a flash drive and copy & paste manually. Also the "search" feature will return the message "no verses found for ___" when the word (or phrase) being searched appears many times in the Bible! The word "abyss" is a good example of this abyssmal let down of what could otherwise be a great app. 🙏

I loved this app, and didn't like the adds. They were too tempting so I just brought the adds free version, because I totally thought it was worth keeping. It has so many helpful things in the menu, and it lets you mark when you've read the chapter. In some ways I even like it better then Youversion in some ways. It's worth it to install them both.
