Was working fine. Loved it. Lately though every time I open it it says updating and just stays that way forever. Not able to do anything. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Go to sign in screen and flashes updating screen again. Why is it updating when I just reinstalled it? Tried clearing cache and force stopping it. Still updating. No...keeping app open on that screen doesn't update it. I kept it there for minutes on WiFi. Nothin. Maybe time to take my money off if it's gonna be so unreliable.

ACH deposit worked one time and then every time after, it would come up with an error and the only way to deposit put my funds on hold for 3 days. Now on top of that, my card was charged again today for a charge that was already made and processed last week. Deleted account and uninstalled. There's better options where the ACH actually works. Tech support sucks for the app as well. I was told to link a new bank account when complaining about the ACH suddenly not working. No thanks. See ya.

They took away the option to modify or cancel ongoing orders. I can't even find money on hold frankly, which should be my right. Why leave the option to buy and sell on a mobile app if I can't truly trade or track my finances? Being able to cancel your order is arguably the biggest safety net of all. I don't even want to buy on this mobile app anymore. It just got reduced to a basic price update for me.

It's okay. Its functionality is good. But they take huge percentages when buying crypto. And they don't give you access to data like "average cost bought at." Its like they dont want you to analyze what you are doing. Which is weird. They used to be the opposite. Also, they will buy at a higher price than price of the crypto if you use the "buy now" option. It's clear they are a little shady. But it does always work and doesn't seem like they will run off with everyone's money anytime soon.

UPDATE: Trying nearly a year later and the app seems to work again! - OLD REVIEW: It worked until it didn't. I was able to do a few transactions and it went really smoothly and seemed simple to use. Then the app started producing an error which read, "use a different amount or contact support". I contacted support and they said my account wasn't verified which is incorrect because I have made several transactions even today. Then they said use the website which worked.

Unreliable. I started daytrading with this. It was nice at first except for the random chart twitching. Then out of no where when I was about to sell my trade, the service goes down. I couldn't sell. Devs said there was an issue and they were working on it. Then they "fixed" it. Now the app crashes on every trade. I don't accept your apology. I lost thousands because you're unreliable. Period.

It wouldn't allow me to add my debit card, and told me credit cards aren't allowed. Even tho it's a debit card. Then, it told me to contact support after 3 attempts. Support tells me to try adding another payment method in 30 days or use the wire transfer. No thank you. I'm new to bitcoin, still learning, and this is the 3rd app I've tried so far. Nothing but horrible experiences so far just trying to buy bitcoin in general!!!!!! 😠 😡

I have tried 2 times to establish an account with Kraken. Each time everything starts out fantastic. I do the drivers license, user name, password. Everything is great. I log in. I log out. I do this 2or3 times. Next morning, go to sign in and like a magician poof , they don't recognize anything. Bottom line, I have spent several hours on line with support to no avail. They have no idea why I cant get in to my account!!! They offer up changing my password that's it! Very unprofessional!!!!!!!

AWEFUL! RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK Deserves zero star. Probably the worst app I've ever used, and certainly the worst I've ever used for any form of financial dealings. I got verified, bought crypto but unable to withdraw after the 1 wk freeze. Customer service is almost USELESS, said I would receive an email with instructions and the next thing is an email stating my account will need to be closed for security reasons, and they couldn't tell me why. So run, and if you look back, it's on you.

SUCKS !!! You still owe me money that you lost for me. I tested your app deposited like $50 went to use it it was unavailable for three days. Then one morning it was just gone. You guys couldn't/wouldn't explain it or figure it out, just blew me off with numerous confusing emails. Bad business. Better apps out there then you guys that is for sure.....

While very new to crypto currency and exchange, I was unaware of the hidden fees that one is charged, as well as how the purchase price that you see isn't the purchase price actually. The market is volatile enough on its own, but to have your purchase price different by approx $1,600.00 is ridiculous. The margins and percentages are greatly affected by Kraken's hidden fees. Other venues have a confirmation page so that you see exactly what the purchase price will be. I will be using those now.

I recently opened an account,got verified, proof of identification, made deposits,transfers, and then after transactions. After a few days, i went to check and notified that the account was closed with no explanation. It's a waste of time, and I submitted the required IDs. It's very upsetting and frustrating. Customer support isn't helpful, and I still sent an email with no reply. Then, I tried logging in again, and the account closed! It's a very upsetting experience & rate it 👎 N0 stars.

Too many hoops to get verified for higher limits. Tried to upload a copy of my license 20 times last night. Failed each time. It's not rocket science. Never had issues on other sites. Withdrawals are even worse. Having to type in info they already have when you made your deposit. Waste of time when much better and easier apps out there. Now I wait and see if they actual complete the withdrawal. If it goes smoothly. I'll change my rating higher.

Started using it and got verified. Wanted To learn how to trade with very small transactions, then suddenly they close your account. They refuse to explain, just cut you off. Beware, the best advice is to find another app that is trustworthy. If you have funds in your account, you are relying on them to give them back to you. Just don't use this one.

Prices are not always accurate. The fee is tied to the purchase or sell price. It's to expensive. The charts are not fast enough. If you want to just buy and sell crypto outright, it's to darn expensive. The fees eat a lot of potential profits. The app works. If you link your bank account you can deposit fast and easy but to withdraw you have a long waiting period. You know "for security reasons"....

Banned me for literally no reason... I used Kraken for YEARS loyally and always did everything by the book, submitted all my information, etc. But then one day I was emailed out of nowhere saying that my account was going to be permanently terminated and they refused to provide any reason why. I was given extremely limited time to take my money out and had several issues trying to do so. This is a very suspicious and shady company. And yet, they get to keep all my data... Do not recommend!

Tired of apps tracking devices. We trust these apps and they are just using your devices as a way to track your location, phone number, email addresses, device model, accounts on the device and many many more. It is disgusting how normalized being completely invaded in our privacy has become and yet we keep using these apps. Shameful and un-american. Don't be fooled when they talk about third parties, those also track everything. A bug, funny. Also, it's expensive. Can't trade, only invest.

My experience up until a couple of days ago was excellent. However, EVERYBODY!!!! take note not to make multiple deposits of the same amount. They will take your deposits and say there was something wrong with your bank account not crediting the transfer. Then they will lock up your account until the balance is repayed and if not, then they will liquidate your cryptos and potentially terminate your account. I have not been able to add or withdraw money due to this. will update after it's resolve

By far the most expensive platform to trade crypto that I have used. Not only do they charge a hefty fee per trade, but if you use the "instant" option for trading the percentage difference between the price of the crypto and what you are paying is the most out of any of the other platforms. They might be ok for long term trading but definitely not for high volume, even if you pay for the plus membership. Will pull my money out as soon as it's profitable, after all the fees.

I really like the experience except for one issue. when you try an instant buy(which seems like a market order ) you pay a healthy premium. When you execute a limit order it doesn't execute at or above (when selling)or at or below (when buying.) Instead it executes exactly on the dollar amount. I find this behavior very strange and will cause some orders to not execute, or to execute at a lower value than you would like.
