it's great for reading .cbz files, but the last update has ruined screenshot feature, I hope the programmers fix the problem for paid pro version.

Loving the app, but just one thing. How do you organize files only using the file name (if we name files just simple things like 1 and 2 to organize them efficiently) and not metadata?

Only improvment would be to import metadata, otherwise my favourite offline comic reader Really love the continue where you left of feature and overall UI is perfect

It is by far the best Comic/Manga reader out there, especially because it displays and allows you to edit metadata.

I've been looking for a nice clean comic reader for my personal collection of manga and comics, something similar to panels on iOS, this is that app, clean interface highly customizable and simple to use

Can't recommend as the app does not support the table of contents (TOC) on PDFs. Bought it to read my PDFs from my DriveThruRPG collection but I've abandoned it as the developers never reply to questions about when TOC support will be added.

Really great app for reading mangas and comics. I would like to see OCR added to this so I can see the meaning of words when it is selected. Similar to features on a kindle. The app is already perfect but this feature can help a lot.

I wrote a whole paragraph about how great this app was and the things I would like to see improved but then I reached the character limit so here are my points compiled for faster reading: 1. Great reader with nice customizability 2. Great app interface, very simplistic and layout is very intuitive 3. Please add a more immersive page turning animation (see Kindle app animation) 4. Please add Calibre Content Server support (5. And/Or enable adding SMB folder to library folder for syncing)

This is my go-to .cbz/cbr reader on my tablet. It is great, I love the folder view which consolidates folders in various areas into a simple and clean format. The UI is very intuitive too. I'm sorry to hear that the old app was taken down, and appreciate the good work done to date. Few suggestions for the future (when it's calmer) 1) long tap the screen in reader mode to magnify. 2) Set volume keys to cycle through the page in full width before jumping to the next page (for phones in landscape).

Good app but the devs like to release update without testing for bugs first so I recommend not to update this app immediately. when update are available.

Absolutely love this app. Also love that it works well with ComicInfo'ed files edit: Is this on GitHub? I'd love to request this to keep it's zoom level as i change pages

A really great reader for general documents as well as manga & manhwa and other comic format due to its file formats compatibility. My only gripe with this Kuro Reader is that it can't read a folder containing images as one book (like how gallery app works), considering some comic sources provide the pages as images but doesn't compress them into one zip/cbz. It also doesn't have sorting feature, so I need to rely on tags which is not ideal for ex: I want to see what's added from latest to oldes

I absolutely love this app! It's fantastic. The only thing missing is a one-handed zoom feature. It would be perfect with that addition.

This app is designed very well and I bought it the first time I saw it. Now I don't read comics/manga often and I intend to use it mainly as a pdf reader. I would like to see few features implemented like "brightness slider in the reading screen itself" , "lock zoom in to avoid unnecessary zoom in" and "button to rotate to landscape easily" and "dark mode".

My first paid app in years. I loved what Kuro Reader had to offer me, especially since it pairs well with my stored library of manga volumes. Love that I can now read my manga in dark mode, among other features. Worth the monies I spent.

The "Image mode - Fit by both sides" function is not working correctly, as it only fits by height, making it hard to see double-page spreads. This causes issues when navigating with the keyboard, as some sections may be skipped. Additionally, when connecting to Bluetooth devices such as a keyboard while reading, the page-turn command is not recognized until the reader is restarted. This is quite inconvenient, please fix it.

Literally the best comic reading app I've ever used! The sync works really well between devices. I do wish it had a better way to add comics to a collection. As it is you have to add each comic to each collection individually, it's a real hassle. Still better than every alternative I've used!

Seriously, don't pay for this. Beyond looking nice, it's pretty bad. You'll randomly get duplicates but most often suddenly have volumes vanish. They're still there, but you can't see or read them which is pointless. Also has big errors with saving and editing any metadata at all even if there are no issues whatsoever on your end. Genuinely, not worth it. Sucks too cos it's quite nice to look at with the covers all on display rather than a file text. Are also fully non-responsive to emails
