This is a must have app and appliance. I received a message that a leak was detected. I looked all over and didn't find anything. I dismissed it as a false alarm. A week later I received it again. This time I opened up the crawl space and belly crawled my way across the extension. Lo and behold, one of the pipes leading to the washer was leaking pretty badly. I shut off the water supply and replaced the leaking section. This thing saved me a huge hassle and expense had it gone on any longer.

Unable to get the app to identify the WiFi network (on Android phone). So tried to restart the process. Now the app cannot connect to the device. Lack of info on the website as how to resolve this. Also very difficult to open device to remove and replace battery to reset device (I've not succeeded in opening it yet!). Exceedingly disappointed with the app and lack of helpful info on the website.
I found this to be one of the easiest setups ever! It was very easy. Each step was simple. Adding a photo confirmed I positioned the Leakbot correctly. With the number of pipes in my utility room, I was worried I would select the wrong one! I did it correctly the first time! I am so pleased as technical stuff always concerns me !
pretty straight forward, just getting to the water line was a bit of a challenge.
Cannot set up. Device connects to my router, but then gets 'stuck' with an error code of Have tried many times to install but to no avail. Seems to be no telephone support, have emailed for help. Update, support have emailed me with much more detailed instructions and device is now set up. It has now started monitoring.
Can be got to work with persistence. I was given a leakbot by my insurer but have yet to get it to work consistently. No manual setup process so all has to be done automatically by the app which fails often. You need to have the leakbot and your phone right by your router to have a chance. If it fails halfway through all progress lost. Never sure what it's doing - needs detail status info. Says learning for weeks and weeks and then says lost connection. No idea if/when it's actually working or not. Support don't phone back when they say then you get random emails and messages out of the blue. Can't log on to your account online only via the app. Nice idea but at the moment I wouldn't have paid for it (which I didn't).
Watch for requirement for location to be on permanently to set up, not just one time only. otherwise easy to install.
Very effective but latest version of app only provides leaking tap or toilet cistern as reasons for high water usage. It used to provide more options including garden hosepipe use.
Like the concept, hopefully I never need to find out if it works. One thing I would like is better instructions on installing the LeakBot. I was not clear if it needs to be installed before or after the shut-off valve or if it even matters
it was easy to follow the instructions, and the setup was easy. Hopefully it'll not be needed in anger, but it is good to know that it is monitoring my water system.
Installation was a snap, & app setup was easy. Just installed with no problems. Took no more than 5 minutes from start to finish. Now hope to have it not find any leaks. I'll feel safer when I'm away. 9/11/25: It reported a leak, & a few days later I found one of the toilets in the house had a nearly silent "leak" and wasn't completing it's fill, and sending water down the overflow tube. Fixed it myself.
Super easy to install, only time will tell if it's a benefit I needed. if it works then it's well worth everything I put into it. I am always leary of anything this easy to install.
very easy to connect and fit. I didn't use the qr code to log on as it wanted my credit card. Just looked on Google playstore, registered and no credit card required. all done in minutes. thank you NFU.
Crashes every day - still crashing 2 months later. Send incompatible with Android 15. Developers not interested. And 8 months later nothing has changed. Every day it crashes 20 sec after starting phone. Zero support
This is my 2nd Leakbot, I replaced the first purely because it was quite old, and I was offered another. I am very impressed by the way the device learns the patterns of use and reports anomalies through the app. Excellent.
The process started out ok but it would not connect. I tried different approaches to no avail. I sent a email to leak bot about the problem. They responded back with instructions to do. One was turn off Bluetooth and VPN. I have Verizon Internet and had 2 different passwords for WiFi. I think I was using the wrong password. Plus turning off Bluetooth and VPN took care of the problem. It connected and worked ok,easy process.
