I like using the AccuBlue and I did need to use customer support once and they were very helpful. My note is to plug in the AccuBlue right before you fill your test disks. Fill the disk place on the AccuBlue. Start the Leslie app. Wait for the device to connect. Start a water test. Minor complaint would be when following Leslie's water treatment, I might have a double dose that requires 4 hours between dosing. when I come back after 8 hours the app is no longer in the same mode. Not an issue.
Reviews for Leslie’s – Pool Care
so many things wrong with this app. I have to re add the water tester every single time I use the app. The app will crash and it wont save my test results, very frustrating. When the app does decide to work it gives accurate results and I can get my pool clean. Please fix this app and hire a professional to get it done right.
Edit: Better connection with the scanner now! If you fix the speed this app is so slow refreshing between screens and not saving scans if phone goes to sleep even if the results are still up on screen (wasting a disk)... I'll update to 5 stars. Original: Very unstable connection to tester. Requires, multiple unplugs and hope it connects. Edit2: getting worse. Shopping the main reason your in business is to sell chems doesnt work. The auto complete interrupts your typing so it misses letters.
Editing my review. Leslie's app have made some major improvements because the app works great, and my test results are now emailed and never lost. What I pay for in the membership pays for my chemicals (35k gallon pool) and extra throughout the year. Worth paying for.
Accublue home product has been glitchy since I first got it about 4 months ago. Today, however, it doesn't work at all. I have wasted so many test units because of no bluetooth connection, app closing not recognizing the accublue, or the tester not wanting to test and having to shut down the phone or testing machine and restarting. I have called Leslies, but it will be 24-48 before they get to me! NOT VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!
Errors out when trying to use for water testing and ruins the cartridges which they charge for. Disappointing. 9/12/25 Update: App was acting up again showing a blank screen after loading. uninstalled and reinstalled it and it worked. I like it didn't ask me to have to login again, it remembered me.
Good for chemical recommendations but needs some improvements. Only allows you to enter data for 4 different test resuts that you can easily get from a 6 way test strip. It would be better if you could enter all 6 values that you get from a test strip instead of wasting your time by forcing you to take a water sample to the store to get them. If they fix that I might actually buy my supplies there instead of ordering them from Amazon.
App stopped working so now I can't run my water test with accublue. Before that the whole app was just above garbage. Slow, always asking to review it, hard to navigate with to many clicks for every action. Worst part is that to do some actions such as sign up for the accublue tester you have to go online on a computer and deal with their trash website. If you have any other possibility for pool chemicals locally to you I highly recommend going to them instead.
App no longer works for me. When I first installed it it worked pretty good and the tests seemed to be pretty accurate. After that it would work intermittently and now it does not work at at all for me. Every time I try to use it I get the message: Oops something went wrong. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several time and clearing the casch and restarting my phone. Nothing works.
Too sales oriented. I want to know how to fix an issue, not just a product of theirs to buy. i.e. how much cyanuric acid should be added to my specific pool to fix that issue, not how much pool conditioner to buy. I thought product purchases would be optional to make the app useful but apparently not. They certainly ask for enough info to do that.
