Great reader, lot of options, love tags, favs etc and reading options. The only thing I think I'd like is the ability to select multiple books at a time and add tags as a batch. I trialed the free version before purchasing, and this seems to be the only thing missing. I had hundreds of books which I like to sort into folders (tags, in this app) but I have to tag one by one which is incredibly time consuming, especially as I add books in big batches and then have to sort.
Reviews for Librera PRO - Book reader
← Back to Librera PRO - Book readerThis has become my preferred reader for the simple reason that it allows you to choose your own colors and fonts. Strangely, other readers don't let you do that. I also like the widget, so I have my current book on my homepage. What's missing for me is s-pen support for flipping pages (like Readera), highlights and better bookmarks (like Moon+ Reader).
Excellent life-changing app (for me, at any rate). The only criticism I have of the Pro version is that the text to speech features could stand some improvements, e.g. unlike other ebook apps I have, the text being spoken is not highlighted, which is a useful feature. One also cannot select the exact place from which to start reading without going to a great of trouble. The reading commences at the top of the last page read. It could also do with more voice options. That said, a great app.
nice, but very inconvenient for documents - coz hard to close, more suitable for actual books
Dear Developer . i m usung since more then 10yrs , it is wonderful app , but from last week when i open within 30 sec.its getting close, can you suggest me what problem occured. plz fix the bugs,
really loving the app, it's the best ive found for my onyx boox. I'd love to see direct syncing with one drive, the ability to mark books as read and to do bulk editing
the app is absolutely amazing its super customizable i just wish there was a way to leave notes while reading an epub! as I love writing little notes as I read
Problems with the app crashing constantly. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even pull up anymore. it just continues to crash. this app is marvelous/fantastic when it works.
This app continues to suprise me in unfathomable ways. It's a wonderful multi format book reader. Of all Play Store apps, this is the only app that can read websites ad free. Send to it a text file, it reads it beautifully. Pdf reflow? No problem! Kudos to the developers 🎉
Great fast and configurable reader. The OPDS catalog support lets me easily add ebooks from my Calibre-web library. It can also "reflow" PDF documents to give you the same control over fonts and layout you have with EPUB files.
This app is close to perfection in many ways, but one major issue is that it doesn't appear to have the option to remember exactly where you left off. Every time you close a book and reopen it the page shifts up a little, which is tedious to deal with.
I have been looking for a great ebook reader that was worth my money 💰. Now I have bought unfortunately a couple but this hands down is the best and forth ever dollar. Auto scroll w/all the possibilities of customization. WOW! I would absolutely recommend this to everyone that is looking to find all around great EBOOK reader. Great job developers. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us on future updates.
This is the most fully featured ebook reader I've found! Lets you use word "replacements" for tts that aren't shown on text, to correct pronunciations. Also lets you correct words visibly. TTS is the best I've seen, though it doesn't have its own voices (samsung sounds more natural than google), and I wish it could use the speechify AI ones. Bookmark sync is great, allowing me to read on my kindle and phone and keep my place. I have it hooked up to my Calibre Library and it syncs metadata well.
I've been using Librera Pro for years, but a couple of weeks ago it was updated on one of my Samsung tablets and no longer works. It's an older model, running Android 10, but it still does everything I need. Its primary use is reading. Now it won't read books, it only displays a blank screen. I sent an email to their support address, and have not received any response. In my opinion that's unacceptable when a program update makes the app unusable.
This is a great, very versatile reading program with many features and supports many file formats. It has been especially helpful to me with my dyslexia and low vision. Its more than worth a try. You will love it. Preserves sketches, diagrams, and photos. Great for reading PDFs, ebooks, even comic books. Many text formatting options for ebooks. Cant say enough good about it.
I've shuffled through what I believe are the Big Three with Reader apps (Moonreader, Readera, and this one Librera). I've bought the pro version of all three as well. I think I might like this one best and more so than Moonreader. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had the page turn sounds like Moonreader does. It's not a big thing, but the sound is still a nice treat when turning those digital pages.
Note: fixed!!!!! My joy is back!!!! 😄 It used to give me a notification like option that let me move forward a page when listening to things being read, but it is no longer popping up. Overall, it would be nice to have the option to skip half a page instead of having to make the words large to do so. It occasionally will not move forward a page when it is reading out documents or epubs and the "replacements" in the read aloud will act up. In the end, this is my absolute favorite app either way!
This app is awesome. It reads all of the most used ebook formats and more. The only real criticisms I have are the inability to add one of my folders to my library despite reading and adding other folders just fine. It reads the books in the folder, but it just doesn't add them to the library. It also doesn't seem to have a way to fit to width. But I love the way it allows scrolling or traditional book reading.
this app is peak, I have found nothing else that works this well for reading ebooks out loud to me. Best money I ever spent some things I'd love to see implemented are - better search functionality for browsing my files--it's not very reliable right now - ability to set pronunciation for certain words in a personal dictionary (for things like character names that consistently get mispronounced) - ability to automatically organize different versions of the same file (if they have the same name)
I used the free version (tts reader) for six months, then purchased the pro version. The only difference is that the pro version doesn't have ads. But the ads in the free version were inobtrusive. I use the app for proofreading, and I run it for long sessions. The program will go completely dark, and there doesn't seem to be any logical fix. I just try various things, and it does come back, but it's annoying.
