Reviews for Life Bible

← Back to Life Bible

It's great to have so many versions of the Bible readily available. There's not always a direct English translation of the words or expressions from the original languages. The different phrasings can be eye opening. Expanding the reader's understanding of what is being communicated by the message. Highlighting any word will trigger a pop-up that will offer a link to a dictionary or the Strong's Concordance (purchased). The latter shows the original language word and meaning.

I love the Tecarta Bible App. Not only because it is an electronic Bible but because I can easily find scripture passages and take notes while I'm in church. I have access to several versions of the Bible, commentaries, dictionaries, devotionals, and many other references that enlighten me and help to develop a extension Bible study. Finally it has an option to read the Bible out loud to you which is also another option that I enjoy. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I used to love this app. Made my life so much easier, all my study helps on one app, with the KJV Bible. Only other thing I used was an 1828 Webser's dictionary. Simple, clutter free, easy to use across all of my devices. Well those days are over! Trying to read and study the Bible shouldn't make me angry just trying to navigate through an app. I understand apps have to be updated, but please change it back! I guess I will be looking for something else.

Very good Bible for searching God's word, and for capturing study notes. My second favorite Bible app on Android. I wish there was a way to search through my Bible study notes, however. At least they can be synced across devices. (Note searching alone would take this app to the top of my list, as I can get a free concordance elsewhere. )

I LOVE This app. Its getting better all the time. I do wish that the concordance option was available in all the versions you sell. Some other versions I would like to see, for example: Jack Hayford's "Spirit Filled Bible",... The "Fire-Bible", or at least the notes out of them,. I Believe that they would both be Great Additions. I was able to download the Amplified Bible for what it would've cost for just a new testament, And its portable, too!

Best Bible app that I have found. With paid downloaded bibles, it is the fastest user interface and load times of any app that I've tried. Faster than an indexed physical Bible to locate a verse, and it should allow a user to get to a verse faster than anyone else in a group, at least while using a high end phone. Great user interface and very visible night mode, even for daytime use.

I think this app is amazing! It allows me to do everything I can do with my paper Bible: Underline, highlight (4 colors), make a quick note, make more in depth notes, search for words or phrases. Also, if you purchase reference material (such as Matthew Henry's Commentary), you can go to that right where you are in your reading. Plus, it is super easy to copy a verse or verses and paste into a note or text or whatever is on your device. I absolutely love it!

This is the BEST of all the bible apps I've ever used. I've tried many and kept coming back to this one over and over. The layout is very organized and easy to use. There are study bibles and commentaries available for purchase. This can get a little expensive if you want to buy them all, like me. However, they do run good sales from time to time and you can buy multiple resources at a time, really reasonable. This has become my one and only bible app and I've never looked back.

I love this app! I can highlight just a portion of a verse, whereas other apps only allow you to highlight the entire verse. I can save verses to a journal where I create individual categories, i.e. "heaven", "salvation", or "day of the Lord". There are a variety of colors I can highlight in, and there's a "note" option. So many options to use. And even better - if you have an issue, or a suggestion, you can email Tecarta and they will promptly respond and thank you.

It's got everything I pretty much need. Although you do get a wide range of bible translations, study bibles, commentaries, and devotionals, they do need to be bought, or have a yearly subscription, in order to use them (the translations can be used freely without purchase when you're online). The app does have a verse, topic, and devotion daily. One feature I really like is the wheel option when selecting books, chapters, and verses, although there are two other options.

It's a good app, but I don't like that I bought several versions a while ago and they forced end of life of the old version (I would have been fine with old version, no updates but that's not an option) and force you into the new model which really is a continuous subscription or ads. It's not terrible but it's the principle of the thing. Even most non-believer software companies don't do things like that. Good features, though, supposedly still lets you read off line for purchased versions.

I have used and loved the Tecarta/Life Bible app for over a decade and still use it in my bible studies ea week. However, the web version kept forcing me to go through hoops each time I logged in, as if I was a brand new user. I assumed this was a flaw in the program but Richelle from their tech support team showed me how to change a series of settings in my browser. I implemented her suggestions and it solved everything. An example of great cust serv and another happy customer!

Excellent study Bible app, even if you don't subscribe. Among several other prominent apps I've tried, the Life Bible app flows so easily from navigating Scripture and making highlights, notes, or diving into explanations. Also... in my specific case, the app's daily verses and "touchpoints" began syncing up with my life. So give it a try and hope it helps you draw closer to the Lord!

highly recommended Bible study app. I love so many things about it. Built in reading plan, auto scrolling, place to journal that syncs across multiple devices, highlighting, notes by verse. very user-friendly and effective. I really prefer a paper bible, however with all of the capabilities I find myself using the app more! No more lugging around a heavy bible.. I especially love how easy it is to access multiple study bibles and commentaries and translations efficiently. 🥰

A very good set of tools. I like the ability to switch translations easily. I'm in the Word daily and frequently share with others, so I'm a little put off by the assumption that I need a devotional. I neither need nor want such a crutch. I also find the buttons at the bottom right of my Bible reading, to be irritating. A great ap that could use a little tweaking.

Life Bible has everything I have been looking for, all in 1 app. Reading plans, touch points, journal, prayer list, and your choice of Bibles. Every Women's Bible has just been added with notes that speak to your heart. It also has audio so you can listen at any time For a small charge, you can remove adds. Now I look forward to getting into the Word, and getting closer to God.

I love the format- just go to the Bible and find any book/chapter/verse on the scroller, or pick up exactly where you left off, with notes, highlighting, and study notes available easy as anything. I also appreciate that there are several free translations and guided reading studies I can access without doing anything extra, though I understand why so many are an extra fee. Overall, very user friendly app and a LOT of value for the free to use bits.

Notes are a nightmare: I used Tercarta before Life Bible and notes were easy and quick and I purchased several Bible versions. I used notes, highlights, and journal. Now, when trying to edit the journal notes, it randomly jumps to other parts of the notes making editing a nightmare. Sometimes you can lock and unlock and it will allow proper editing for a while before it jumps to some random spot again in the notes! I am currently searching for another app because this is not on!

Update: This app is just constantly trying to sell you books. It pathetic. Original post: Ruined a brilliant Bible app. My previous version had many purchases that I can no longer access. The navigation is horrible. Advertisements are baloney since I purchased years ago. I did not need suggested reading, weak devotionals, product ads, etc. It was fine being a Bible app. It is more difficult to use, and my study Bible and bookmarks and notes can not be accessed, so I will go back to Olive Tree.

I love using this app for my daily Bible study. I'm subscribed to the premium version. The biggest disappointment is that I still have to make in app purchases for many of the books, study Bibles, and commentaries. I'm paying for a premium app, everything should be accessible without having to pay additional costs for products in the app. Please make all books, Bibles, and commentaries included in the premium subscription.
