App often "Not Working Properly". Constantly have to close/reopen!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Buttons need to be bigger. We often have to hit the buttons several times to process. When hitting BACK button there is often a 3-6 second delay. Why when you hit the Phone icon to make a call in a contact profile you have to then hit Call on the bottom to dial a contact. Why can't you just hit the phone icon and that be the dial-out button? Like to Block calls. Never refreshes, very annoying
Reviews for Linked Phone Business Number
← Back to Linked Phone Business NumberS22 ultra Android 14 UI 6.1 The new update is TERRIBLE. The new UI is horrible compared to previous versions. Since update Calls come through the LP app (no longer through regular phone app). This causes an error when I go off screen to take notes from call. I can't use the dial when on a call, which makes buzzing people into a call box IMPOSSIBLE. As of the past week, I will answer the phone and hear nothing. Shortly after, I'll get a vm. Update made this service unusable.
The new updates suck!!! It takes forever to load the app. I have to un-install the app and install it again every day, and if by chance I closed the app, it stops work and would have to re-install it multiple times a day..
As of this app wasn't trash enough, a new update just popped up suddenly with no notice and wouldn't let me get to my phone calls before updating. Voicemail never works. Will not read back voicemails for a good day after they're left. Auto response works 10% of the time. This shows MY number when people call, not the actual caller so never know who is actually calling. Can't even delete calls with new update. Brilliant 🙄. This service is a rip off. If it was free, it would be too expensive
Probably the best app based alternative to having a landline in a brick & mortar office. No per person/per month charges like cloud based phone services. Easy to set up and even allows for an automated attendent. If set up correct it can make a small business without a set office location sound like a large corporation with multiple locations.
Been using this app for my business for over a year. My experience has been good overall. There were some hiccups with authorizing another person to use the app, but I believe those were our fault and not the app's. Now we have 2 people using the app with their own dedicated extensions. Voicemail works fine, texts come thru fine, calls work fine as well. I would definitely recommend this app for small business owners.
I love the ease of use for the app- it's affordable for a newly starting business. Love that I don't need to buy another phone- can just use mine and still have a separate number. However, one downside is the incoming photo messages take forever to load just see the red circle spinning.... Also, other issue is playing voicemails. Alot of times it takes a long time to download to actually hear the message because alot of times the voice transcription is way off....
This app is terrible for business. It's nice having another phone number connected to your personal number but when someone tries to call you with the phone number the app gives you, it just notifies you through the app. Once in a while it will ring, but other than that it does not ring at all and you can't answer it. Sometimes someone will call 10 minutes ago as an example and the notification won't appear until 10 minutes after the fact. Horrible app for business. Do not recommend using it.
Bait and Switch. Got app to have toll free number for my new business. The most important caveat for me was having my company name show on caller ID for outbound calls. This app does NOT do that. They told me that it's "up to the service provider to display the caller ID" & "most cell service providers wont display ID, only land lines." So we tested on all major USA carriers AND a couple of landlines. Results: business name didn't show up for ANY of them. Terrible! Definitely not worth the $$.
Don't normally review but with this app when you receive a call it does not show the number of caller. It only shows your linkedphone number. Useless.. I ported my number over and now I am having a time trying to get it back to Google voice. Update. Linkedphone worked with me and we got things figured out. Looks like a caller ID app such as Hiya will not work with this app. Thanks for everything.
I don't receive notifications! Notifications for text messages are THE WORST (non-existent), and for voice-mail is awful, too. The only notification I get is when I get an actual phone call in real time (not even for missed calls). I was previously told to uninstall the app and then reinstall it, but c'mon, seriously? How many times do I have to do that? Once a week??
I originally purchased a work number from OpenPhone HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! There is charge after charge, and text is denied. I was feeling hopeless as I had added the number to my platform, cards, etc. Luckily for me, I found LinkedPhone, which has been amazing! They offer everything you need for work, and their customers' service is responsive and fast. I was able to port the number, so I am all good now!!! Beware of OpenPhone and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LINKEDPHONE!!!
When business calls come in it will show my number not the customers. Ive been through customer support countless times with the same solution to re-download the app and accept all permissions. That's it. Doesn't work. Also I will open the app and then texts will come through that are sometimes a day old! At the very least hours old. This is not good. They did an update awhile ago and now the whole app is slow and buggy as well. Long delay in between buttons or full on lockups and crashing.
We've used LinkedPhone for years to be able to communicate with our customers with text and phone calls. We've had a great experience up until the latest update. Update: we found that when on a call it no longer prevents your screen from locking, and when the screen locks you can hear your customer but they can't hear you. If you unlock your screen they can hear you again. Hopefully they can update so the app prevents screen lock when on a call.
You can only choose one voice for the virtual attendant and it sounds awful. The female version is broken on all devices. It seems fine otherwise... but the UI is kinda ugly (icons too big, gaudy brand colors everywhere, I do like the dark theme, but the contrast is too high). No call recording. A bit rough around the edges, it's lacking transitions and animations. Functionally it seems to work just fine, though this is best for smaller ops, you will eventually need to upgrade if you scale
Seemed great until.... after setting this up and testing it out on my desktop and phone app, i found that it worked on my desktop just fine, but I was unable to call or receive calls when using the app on my phone, and was met with "it works for me, are you sure it's not working?" and told that I would be contacted by the end of the day for help but never was. Not going to waste my money cuz I've tried everything to make it work. Glad I was within the free trial period.
So far great! The available options within are fantastic. The business has a nice professional tone when customers call us, and i love having a custom phone line go direct to my cell or my employees cell. Great app! EDIT: I really love that the app essentially is a portal for employees as well. It's easy for my receptionist to book a job using their web based platform and tag it as a note to a specific employee. They get the notification and can go service the job. This really is a great app!
Great, if you don't have an issue. I love the service itself. However,I was directed to the website to upgrade plans, and I was charged for the new plan and the old one for months. When I realized I emailed March 3rd, and after a long back and forth of emails, they said they realized the mistake and would refund the double payment then never issued it, I have since email & called for weeks and was told I would recieve my money, nope! This is sad. You are going to lose a loyal customer. Beware.
This is an easy, affordable alternative to a second voip line. I own and operate 3 businesses across all timeliness, and having Linked Phone allows me to set my availability and frees up my personal line. The only thing missing for me is additional lines. I would like the option to add two more lines, or map incoming calls based on the service requests.
I do like the app alot, but there are just a couple things that need to be fixed for it to get 5 stars. First one is the way when incomming calls come into the line, it acts like you missed the call at first and then it shows you it ringing, then when you answer, theres a delay like no one is on the other side, and it sounds hollow and is poor quality. 2nd, you cannot easily just text from the record of a call, and you can't call easily from the record of a text. It should be more intuitive
