This app is top notch for all musicians. The learning curve was a bit tough for this layman but the help I recieved to get me going was second to none. Cheers guys.

UI is very dated and not user friendly. Had numerous issues adding songs. This app is not easy to work with or use.

The best lyric/setlist app for Android tablets. Many options to customize how it looks and works. Been using LP3 since it came out of Beta.

You have made this ap so hard to use! I just want it for lyrics and I am finding it almost impossible to use even after watching videos. I am trying to create a simple set list to follow. Maybe it is because I am trying to do it on my phone. Didn’t have a […]

no future, no updates, no communication. I wouldn’t invest on this if you’re looking for a new lyrics software which will be your friend for a long time.. I’m using this for years, and it is not satisfying today’s needs. there’s so many things is not working, there’s no fix, there’s no updates, and there’s […]

Very poor explanation on videos with loud distracting background music. If you want to simply load you lyrics in text file format, marry them to your mp3s then forget it. Overdesigned and impossible to set up smoothly. I regret buying it.

You need a 2nd app called FV File Manager to get full functionality with Lyric Pad 3. If you used previous versions beware it’s a different animal but it works after you figure out how to use it via the Facebook Group. Don’t expect a smooth experience without both!!

I have been using LP2. Am now learning LP3. Many new features and a great app. Many thanks to the developer. No longer need to use my old songbooks for reference or my other devices for backing tracks.

A real shame. I had high hopes for this as I loved the first one. It’s just not user friendly at all. Lots of buttons but no obvious explanation what they do. It’s very fiddly. I’ve re-uploaded the old version as found it easier.

I have been using this app for over 3 years… on a few different tablets… but I just got a new tablet and I the app won’t find the files… even after I followed all the directions posted on the forum. I am beyond frustrated!

Awful. Please revert to previous version. I’ve had Lyric Pad for years and recently got a new device. It’s not intuitive at all and I’m lost within it. Please bring the original back so we have the option to use that without paying £68.

Too buggy. Can’t create songs. If I delete and reinstall it worked a few times, allowing me to create lyrics for original songs, but now it won’t work at all. Disappointing, it really had potential but seems the creator stopped maintaining the app.

if you don’t use set lists, lyric pad 3 needs an update. i play a song, then go back to my songlist, and it takes me to the top of the songlist, rather than from where i left off. so if i sing ‘memphis’, and want to go to ‘that’s the way of the world’ […]

Not ready yet. I’ve really wanted to use Lyric Pad and have downloaded previous versions with a view to supporting the project. LP2 was not very instinctive, a few useful features were missing and superfluous features were difficult to navigate (switch off). LP3 is going in the wrong direction (for me) in both these regards. […]

By far the best tool by a long way for musicians and performers. Once mastered you can have complete control over your lyric and backing files, create and save endless set lists, edit display features, control wirelessly with Bluetooth foot controllers. I have done nearly 400 shows with LP3 and cannot recommend it enough, it […]

The overall concept of Lyric Pad is excellent. But, the detailed implementation seems to fall short. I installed Lyric Pad then down loaded about 50 songs into the Ltric Pad editor. the good news is that this process worked well and was time efficient. However, the next step in preparing a song to be performed […]

I have found LP-3 to be totally useless for true gigging musicians. Any professional musician I have been in contact with finds LP-3 to be a significant step backwards from LP-2. Way too much useless “fluff” resulting in many more keystrokes to get you from song choice to actual performance. WE DON’T NEED TEMPO/REALTIME TIMING […]

I’ve used the original Lyric pad for about 600 gigs, it’s really great. My only gripe was the lack of an easy export feature for your files. Assumed this version would be a big step up, but to be honest, it’s just more clunky, easier to get lost in menus.. It takes you longer to […]

I was using original Lyric pad, but my tablet became corrupt so needed to reset. went to download lyric pad and it’s no longer available, forcing me to endure the lyric pad 3 version, which is appalling! Why does it need to scrub out songs in your set list if you’ve been working on it […]
