i love the magnificat, you get great peace from reading daily, can't live without it💕

Wouldn't purchase again. Too many days in November where many of the morning/evening prayers are unavailable. I've purchased the physical books before and know they come with morning and evening prayer every day, or nearly. Seems like every day either the morning prayer or evening prayer is unavailable, or both. Even some of the Mass readings are unavailable. I'm using a Google 9 pro XL . I am glad I purchased only November and not the yearly. Love the books. App is a no if you want consistency

I paid for the 1-year subscription, but my account still showed no active service. Despite multiple clearly worded emails and proof of payment, I received no replies from either Magnificat support or the Magnificat App team. Customer service showed no respect or willingness to assist. Neither Google nor PayPal helped resolve the issue. The service was never delivered, and no one took responsibility.

For being a paid curation of free materials, I'm reticent about the controls placed on accessing a new month (especially a monthly cusp), which solely appears to exist to protect their subscription revenue. This primarily is an issue when anticipatory mass occurs in this way & digital only subscribers can't access via the app.

Thank you for offering this for free during this time. I couldn't get the app to work from downloading directly from play store which was disappointing, so I went to their website and signed up from there first, the page opens and download the app from that page....then open app and plug in the sign up information that you used on their website. Haven't had any issues with it doing this way. Hope this might help others have success. God bless!

A beautiful blessing to have the daily prayers and readings of the church close at hand to pray in unity with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Easy to use, very functional- easy text size change, reminder settings... super! Thank you for the complimentary trial in these trying times. God bless those involved in making this available.

Beautiful, intuitive design; easy to use with common prayers available, but not displayed unless you need them. Opens automatically to today's reading, after displaying the beautiful cover art. Just wish there was a darker background color option. Ivory is quite pale. I prefer white txt on black.

Great!! I have been looking for an app that can be used to guide you thru the Mass, and this is the best one so far. I like how easy it is to switch from the Order of the Mass, to the Readings and back again. It requires a subscription to Magnificat, which I had anyway. My wife now uses the book and I use the app. Thanks for taking the time and effort to develop such a great companion app. This is very useful for the New or Lifelong Catholics who have trouble holding the bulky Missals at Mass.

I love using this it really helps me. I thank you for the free month. I keep getting to our Catholic store here too late to get the month so I'll just pay for the online app version. I like the reminders, meditations etc...very nice UI. I haven't had any problems. Good job and God less all! +

Says this app is compatible with my android device. I install it & download fails. It had worked in previous issues i.e., Feb., April etc. OK, that being said, I want to be very clear about my rating as first being only 1 star. Since the time of the original post, I have learned (by taking a chance on the "English" edition vs "US" edition)...It worked!!! imagine my surprise! So, for those of you who haven't been successful in downloading the US edition on your android, please try the "English".

I have subscribed to Magnificat for 2 years now, via the online version, and in the last couple of months I have had problems accessing content. I still cannot access most of February and January 2023. I find it frustrating that if the download isn't successful the first time, that there isn't a feature to try and download again manually. Perhaps I also have not discovered this. I would appreciate assistance.

Outstanding when it works. Unfortunately, I've been unable to download updated content for the current month and nothing makes a difference. Cleared data, logged out then back in, uninstalled and reinstalled, still no data. It's awfully expensive for something that so frequently refuses to work.

It stopped working within a few months. I haven't been able to open any content for the last 2 months and receive the message: "ERROR download. Try again" Nothing I've tried so far has resolved this issue. I've been a subscriber of Magnificat for many years and was so grateful to have access to it electronically, but it didn't last more than a few months

I've been getting Magnificat for many years. I also get a hard copy through my church subscription. Now my current edition won't download so I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. It still won't download. Irritated, I went to Word Among Us. I've always paid through Samsung pay. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm very Irritated. I'm not a new subscriber. I shouldn't be having these issues.

Impossible to open. Instructions stated 'touch to retry'. Touched 37 times - the 2nd time - and gave up. Would like to be able to access each day entire prayers etc but can't isolate them. Took me a long time to even get to this page. Really disappointing. Need a new software designer. I'll just use the paper book. Sad. And by the way, it says my subscription is UNPAID when I have actually paid twice in the last 3 months. Again, sad.

I love Magnificat (I receive print edition). Their customer service is always so prompt and helpful. Occasional functional issues with the app, as others have mentioned. But otherwise it's very straightforward and simple. When I'm traveling and forget my hard copy, I rely on digital, and I'd like to suggest the ability to "highlight" in the app.

Well, since they don't respond to emails, I figured I have to come here to say something. But it appears they don't interact here either. I renewed my subscription in March, I never got the March, April, or May magazine. Just the other day, the June edition showed up in the mail. 3 months worth of a yearlong subscription that I didn't get. I didn't pay for 9 months, I paid for 12. Someone over there may actually want to check their inbox. Been a subscriber for years, disappointing..

The Magnificat is an absolute treasure from heaven. As a daily communicant, I'm able to access all of the readings & gospel at my fingertips. I previously used the book & wasn't sure whether I would enjoy the digital version as much. However, all of the additional features(yes, there are many) are included. It's an even more compact way to take God's Word with you. In addition, I had a few questions & contacted their support team. Unbelievably helpful is an understatement. I recommend highly!!

Loaded the app and signed in, simple to use and works. Liked the alarm feature that reminds you of morning, evening and night prayer. The large font is helpful for someone like myself who has trouble viewing small objects or near objects. Thank you for the great app! God Bless! Note: There are some individuals who mentioned having trouble loading the app. Please make sure you sign in before trying to download any content. Otherwise, you get the "retry" message.

The app works for me pretty well. Whenever I have had issues, clearing the data (not just the cache) works well. You'll need to sign in again, but it should correctly download the resource files. I am having one issue that I can't get rid of. Whenever the app downloads content, I always get one file that fails to download. I think it has been going on for about a year.
