Reviews for Math Makers: Kids School Games

it is our First try! i don't know what to write. it's been only 3 minutes since first opening the app

I like it so much because they can help me to learn a skill math

My nearly 6 years old loves the game. She learnt a lot more math than a regular primary 1 student without any sweat or tears. Graphic and animation are not the best in gaming but good enough to entertain and run very well on all mobile devices ( android and iOS). Could improve on progression control so that kids don't jump on advanced topics before the basic ones. Also users would benefit from real world use cases on the math concept they've just learned. Pls add probability and physics lessons

Excellent customer service. My son subscribed and forgot to cancel, a refund was given after I contacted Ululab. Their communication is excellent. We've used Slice Fractions in the past and my rather choosy son really enjoyed it - they really got the difficulty levels right, and avoided making it too cutesy or patronising. I recommend!

Overall, it has been a good learning tool for my 6 year old daughter, especially the fractions part so far. 2 comments: 1. It isn't something you can just leave your kid with. For them to really understand, you do need to be there to supervise and teach. 2. Sometimes I feel it is too "challenging" from a gamification standpoint, and the object becomes more about solving the game-type problem than learning the math concepts. This also goes back to point 1.

There are plenty of good learning apps that are free for kids and this one tries to be sneaky about charging you without telling you straight up. I hate making accounts only to realize it's to start a subscription. I also don't mind paying for good educational games, but I like to buy and own them, and dislike subscription based anything very much.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! My 6 year-old grandson has a speech and language disability and can find it hard to process lots of words telling him what to do or explaining concepts to him. Like Slice Fractions, which I already have for my older grandchildren, Math Makers doesn't use language at all. I've recently subscribed for him - and he loves it! Normally he's quite hard to engage - but the first time we tried Math Makers, he engaged enthusiastically for about 20-25 minutes, which I have never experienced him to do before. I'm so pleased with this app - excellent!

Kids really enjoy playing. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like some things could use a little more explanation or walk-through. Particularly with the map building feature. That is the kids' favorite part, and it could be really amazing with more customizable cause and effect features. Can we make the bubbles re-sizable and allow some objects like the blue/red blocks to be contained in the bubbles. That would be so cool. Can't wait for updates like these.

try to sign up for the free trial, but keep getting are. that's right on multiple devices same thing

my 6 year old son and I love to use it. it makes learning fun. and the price is very reasonable and affordable. thank you!

it has help my child to solve a lot of problem in school

I am so excited to have a fun & engaging way for her to learn!

Looks really good but it's a Paid subscription only. With 7 day trial is unlocked with credit card information. Must agree to subscription first so if you get busy or forget you will be charged. This is my most hated approach, even more than loot boxes. I much prefer the pay to continue approach. $150+ a year is a text book. Except a text book I keep forever and I can flick through it to see what I'm paying for. This only lets me see the first few pages. This is more expensive than a AAA game.

We loved it until we completed all the levels without harder levels to go to (it took less than a month with only being on in 15-20 min a day)...great app in the works but not complete and not worth the money till there is more to it.

UPDATE!!! The company reached out as you can see & issued a full refund! That said the app was not helpful for my kids. The art is beautiful & I get the concept, but it was too easy for my kids & it didn't keep my 10yr old's attention. It is worth trying it for free to see if it works for your kids. Honestly if it does & they'd use it at least 3 times/week it's a great price for a year. We just wouldn't use it, which is the only reason I gave it a 3, if it would've I'd have given it a 4 or 5.🤷

The app itself was irrelevant for what I wanted it to use for and my kid was bored with it, was to easy. Then, I didn't get notification about the end of free trial, so paid money for something useless

It is amazing. My son loves this app and can play with minimal commitment on the parents part. I know it is safe and beneficial.

it has no demo or anything like that just sign up and it asks for a free trial of monthly or yearly, so in short it just asks for money if you like to try go ahead and download but if you download like to give your card info or use on a Application that asks for in the start then this may waste your time and data

A SUBSCRIPTION for 90 dollars?! The games are really engaging and my 7yo enjoyed them, but I don't think a subscription price of 90 dollars is fair. I don't pay that much for a physical game on ANY platform Switch, playstation, Xbox or PC. Yes there are learning benefits but this price is ROBBERY for a SUBSCRIPTION.

Very difficult to navagate settings. My son loved it! but it got too hard, too quick/ during the 7 day trail. Thought I would subscribe, try to delete account back to previous games as advised in the support page. But now have no account and unable to create a new one. Support team were not able to help and we haven't been able to use it. A week of back and forth with support but I have to pay again to restore access. 3 stars as the games were fun at the beginning and they have now refunded us.
