The App was great when I first started to use it. Now it just tells me to go see a crew member. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't use an app. They have no idea how to fix the problem. I cleared data, catcha, uninstalled and reinstalled. I had points but now I don't. Tried customer service. They closed out my ticket saying they didn't get any replies but I did reply. Edit date 10/5/2024-Deleted my account and deleted the app! I contacted them & gave all info. They keep asking for the same info.

Added** My app is up to date.** So many different problems! Won't open, crashes, won't load deals, only shows partial information. And not just today but has been a constant problem for weeks. I've tried uninstalling, restarting my phone, reopening the app. The problems never completely go away. The best I can say is if I keep trying I can usually get done what I wanted, but a lot of times I just give up and go somewhere else.

The app no longer has the $1 large fry (or even the $1.29 one) or 50% off mcflurries coupons which were the main drivers to installing the app. The deals I get now are pretty bad and make buying McDonald's no longer affordable or reasonable to do on an even infrequent basis. I used to go almost every day, and now I'll maybe go once a month. Beyond disappointed.

rewards are good, especially for breakfast, but the app constantly changes your location to where IT thinks you want to order from. I hate constantly having to check if it's changed pick up location. I should also be able to cancel an order after placing it, since they like to send it to the wrong location so often. I know where I will be, not your apps location tracker.

The last few orders have been chaotic. I have a specific McDonald's that I go to, and I select it. After placing an order, it gets sent to a much different location. I even confirm the location where I want to pick it up from, but it always sends it somewhere else. This app is getting pretty annoying and inconvenient. I'm not going to turn around and waste my time to go pick up food at a different location that's not on my route to work. I guess I'll just go back to packing my meals for work.

Takes forever to get the code to come up at the drive thru. when trying to redeem my points, it spins and spins then times out. I even tried at home while on wifi. why accumulate points when u can't use it. I changed my preferred location and it keeps taking me to another location. though it's closers it's more expensive. I gave an extra star because I use it to plan large orders.

This app tries to streamline the process of ordering but more often than not gets in it's own way, placing the order at the wrong location, clearing the bag, switching locations, etc. On top of it all, there's no way to cancel your order, and half the time the current order doesn't appear anywhere. I was just trying to use my points up but I'll just let them rot. This app continues to be absolute trash every time I try to use it, stop cheaping out on developers.

Awful app. It's buggy, slow, chooses bizarre locations, and has for some reason decided that I don't want to use the drive-thru. It still flashes up then off every time I open it, even after multiple uninstalls and phone reboots. It would be helpful if there was a map to show where my options were located, but no. I have to pull up Maps on my phone, type in McDonalds, and then figure out what address I want. in all, I have to drop this from a barely functioning 2 stars to an irritating 1.

I wish they had more precautions in place or better GPS usage. There's a bunch of locations near me on same streets and I'm so tired of the app selecting the wrong closest McDonald's and finding out I placed an order at the wrong one and cannot cancel. Also it's crazy you can't use your points if you also use a coupon. If points are earned by users, why can't they be spent if user is using a coupon?

The app is not a seamless experience, very easy to select the wrong pickup option for your order, and I now frequently only have the option to order from locations STATES away from me with all the proper app location permissions on. I select the location 2 minutes from my house and nothing happens. So many times I just give up and order somewhere else. Also, getting previous refunds and points returned is a hassle.

This app is still incredibly glitchy and continues to be more of a hassle or inconvenience than anything else! Every time I attempt to use it (which isn't often due to the inconvenience) I have to uninstall and re-download the app, which is a complete and utter waste of time. On average you'll spend 10-20min battling with this thing just to place am order. App still sucks, wouldn't recommend amd Wendy's doesn't seem to have this issue.

The recent update added more times you have to click on things before you get your order in. It makes for a time-consuming process. It does save the list of recent items to pick from but would be nice if you had an easily accessible list of favorites to choose from. That would reduce the chances of clicking accidentally on the wrong items. At times it says items are currently unavailable but when I go to the speaker and order it without the app all those items ARE available.

Ripped off twice in the last month. A few weeks back, my order was canceled for no reason, but the reward points and the money I paid for the balance due were taken and never refunded. Today, I ordered from the location down my street. I confirmed the location before I sent the order, but when I went to pick it up, the order was sent to a location 10 miles away. No way to cancel the order and get a refund. Deleting the App to avoid losing more money.

Overall the app works great. If you are trying to order ahead at a location that isn't physically nearest to you, that's where the issues begin. No matter how many times I try to change the order location, the app automatically keeps trying to update my location to the nearest store. Due to certain in app deals and offers only being available at certain stores, this often leads to more wasted time spent in the app having to redo an order on top of changing the location again. I'll just go to BK.

I am tired of these chains that offer apps where you spend more time trying to get them to work than to actually go to the drive thru. However, going to the location you don't get the discounts. So screw it, after spening multiple occasions trying to get my stupid free sandwich I'm not going at all. Cleared my cache, restarted my phone, changed multiple settings, uninstalled and reinstalled and still getting an error about my Internet connection. Doesn't look like I'm the only one. FIX THIS!

Ordering food on here is simple and easy. It makes it super convenient to get food when I'm in a hurry. That being said, the customization is really lacking compared to just ordering in the store. No options for substitution on a sandwich or adding light ice as an option for drinks. The deals also seem to get confused if you try to order a just a sandwich and a meal of the same item. Other than those issues the app works perfectly.

App works great, best of all fast food apps. I wish you'd stop forcing order from the closest location. I like to order from work and pickup near home. Now, I have to pull off when I get inside the radius of my preferred home location and order. How many times did the order go to the wrong location. Frustrating and a waste of time. Response. No, if I'm near one McDonald's, and order, it goes to the closest McDonald's, there's no way to choose another McDonald's. Each item I add resets it.

Everything is frozen! *** Edited 5/21/2025 *** This app is about as moody as a teenager going through puberty! With that said, whenever this app works, I really like it a lot. Earning points with every purchase adds up to redeem for free food. I also like the "customize" option for every item. That makes it easy to add or remove anything, as well as how much to add, so my food is made just the way I like it. I'd rather order through the app if I have a choice. I admit the app has improved a lot

Only allows in-store pickup! I used to be able to pick up in the drive-through, and my location's drive-through window still asks if I have a mobile order. So it's not a location issue, it's an app issue. There is nowhere to change the option. I tried change on the location, and it lists pickup options there but does not let me select a different option. On the other hand, I've saved a lot of money and broken my habit of getting McDonald's several times a week on the way to and from work!

This is my second review. It has been months since I last left a review. The app is very broken and has yet to be fixed. It constantly crashes. The code either doesn't load at all, or in the rare cases it does- it doesn't work at the drive through, despite having only just opened the app and refreshed the code. At first I thought, whatever, I just can't get rewards and I'll enter the info from the receipt to get my points. Turns out you can only submit 1 receipt per month. Fix the app please.
