So here's my honest take on Mini Piano Pro. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's up there with the best. The sound quality is fantastic and it's super responsive, which is key for a virtual piano. I like that there's a ton of features but the interface stays simple and minimalist. The only downsides are the ads can get a little obtrusive and the upgrade to remove them is a bit pricey. But if you just want a great portable piano, this is one of the best options out there.

Pros

  • Incredibly realistic and responsive piano sound
  • Tons of features like recording, 128 instruments, dark mode
  • Simple, minimalist interface that's easy to use
  • Free to download, not pay-to-win
  • Works great on older phones too

Cons

  • Ads can get annoying if you don't upgrade
  • Upgrading to remove ads is a bit pricey
  • Might be overkill if you just want basic piano functions

Description

Been using Mini Piano Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a really responsive and realistic-sounding digital piano for your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into music and want something portable.

Here’s what you do: you get a full 88-key keyboard that you can zoom in and out of, and it’s got different display modes like dark mode which is nice. The default piano sound is super high quality and there’s also like 128 other instrument sounds you can play around with. You can even record your own stuff as MIDI files and export them as MP3 or WAV.

Look, if you’re a musician or just someone who likes messing around with virtual instruments, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be kind of annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job really well. Worth checking out for sure.

This app is great! No menus at startup, it goes straight to the keys and the ads on lite ver. weren't intrusive at all. The only complaint I have is...

Seriously must have app for music creation. The sampled Bosendorfer piano is the best! Also I have used different MIDI keyboards with it...no problem! Sometimes I use the onscreen keyboard...
