Really handy, calculates your left over for you, and predicts up coming months based on the reacuring bills and your income streams. I wish there was a feature to share info. However, after sensing an email and receiving and EXTREMELY quick reply! They have said its a feature they want to add in the future. I'll be excited to use it when it's added, but for the meantime, this app is perfect in every other way. Real life saver!
Reviews for Monthly Bill Planner
← Back to Monthly Bill PlannerTried this app for awhile and decided to purchase. Still getting ads when I try to use. Edit: Changing my review rating, Anton took care of issue promptly.
only thing I don't like is there in no sign in to login on different devices. you have to start everything all over. I would like to use it on my phone and my tablet without having to do double the work. other then that it is great.
Awesome app, best one so far. Wish there was a way to set up notifications for bills and to see what all the subscription comes with. Other then that love it.
A great budget app for keeping a written record of monthly bills when the amount is the same every month for the year. However; with recurring bills especially utilities and medical, the amounts often change. I would like to be able to change the monthly dollar amount each month without it changing the dollar amount from the previous month that has already been paid. If and when this is done, you will definitely receive five stars from me.
I have had this app for little Over 2 years. I'm sure there's other great apps but this one has kept me from even looking at other apps. Best one in the market. Won't use anything else. I don't mind the ads, people gotta make an earning off a free app some how if you don't wanna pay a subscription, which by the way whole app is free
Doesn't force me to link financial accounts. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to find an app that just lets me manually enter and track my own bills. It works best for me to enter and update my bills regularly (keeps me checking in more frequently) and is more accurate in my experience. It contains ads but they're very minimal and relatively short, and it always warns you beforehand which I appreciate - no loud 45sec unskippable ad when I'm concentrating.
I just started using the app and will update my overall review after a few months use. So far, I love the user friendly and simple app. I would love to see a notes section in the payment section for storibg confirmation numbers and balance updates. I would also like an option for selective bill reminder time frames, such as 7 days, 5 days etc.
Just started using this app and I think it's lovely as a simple app with no frills or fuss which is what I was looking for! I wish there was a way to see my paydays on the calendar as they don't come up?? (I would like the income and bills to be seperately color-coded, personally!) I also would like to see my income subtracted by the bills in the app as well as a way to purchase for no ads... The ads are very distracting when using the app to budget!
This app is easy to use and its UI is pretty user friendly, however, I've noticed that when you mark bills as being paid in the calendar view, if you close out the app and return to the calendar, they aren't marked anymore. For me, this kind of defeats the purpose of having this app as a "bill tracker" if the app immediately forgets what you've marked as paid. **EDIT** The last update appears to have fixed this issue! This app now works exactly how I need it to. Keep up the great work guys!
Great app so far! I have a few suggestions if you're interested in feedback. First, in the list view of your current bills, I'd like to have an option to select that it's been paid. Second, there should be a separation of paid and unpaid bills in the list view. For example, I click paid on a bill, it automatically changes color and moves to the bottom of the list. Out of sight, out of mind. Love the pie chart and calender view! Especially the pie chart. Really nice to see my percentages.
It's great except that if you have a bill that isn't every month, it automatically splits the bill into every in-between month. Don't want that. I pay it all on that one individual month and you can't turn it off. Perfect and simple otherwise, but deleting because of this since it messes up my planning. EDIT: Turns out you can turn that feature off and I didn't see it. My mistake! Great app then! Simple! I'll be switching back to this then. The only two things that would make it better would be to be able to turn on notifications for certain bills (not all of them) and to have an option to recur by every specific day of a specific week. example: every third thursday of the month.
I love this app! I used to manage my bills and notes manually, but this makes everything so much easier because I don’t have to do any calculations myself. Once I mark a bill as paid, the remaining balance updates automatically. I also have some bills that vary from month to month, and the app handles them seamlessly. Plus, it allows me to enter my income and shows me how much I have left over each month. It’s simple, easy to use, and incredibly helpful, I just hope it sticks around, lol.
Ok, after diligently figuring out how to control app. I have to say I'm now impressed, definitely need better tutorial. With that said the one thing that would be nice is a Ballance forward ⏩ to add to the next paycheck. Also I find myself dropping the app to open a calculator. So that would be nice as well. And the pay version for no adds I can't find how much and if it's life time or yearly?????
I love everything about this app, except it doesn't have notifications when your bills are due. I love that my account info doesn't have to be added, just keeps track of when things are due and how much. Love that you can color code and how simple it looks, but if it doesn't let me know when a bill is due, I don't remember to use it. If they added notifications, this will absolutely be a 5 star app and I hope they add it soon!!
This app is nice! Works well and helps me keep track of finances on the go. But there is one thing that I wish the app had! When I set my billing cycle for the due date and set a recurring bill, it only gives me the option to set monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, etc. The issue I have with that is I have a bill due every 30 days exactly, so the bill won't always be on the same day/date each month. I wish you could set the bill due by number of days as well as current features provided in the app.
My app was great, but now I can't get it to open,in fact, it defaults to the PlayStore Appstore. It shows up as installed alongside the highlighted green open button. When I press the button, it won't work. It doesn't open. All my bills data is in the app. Where did it go? I would have given this app 5 stars & would update to 5 stars,if my app picks up with my data where I left off.
I've had this app for a long time, and I love it...other than the fact that this is the 3rd time this year that I've gotten on to look at my bills and everything has disappeared. normally, I can sign back into the app, and it will all show back up, but now the app will not let me log in with email or Google, and I can't find anywhere to contact the company to restore all the bills I had saved. edit: i was contacted not long after this review was posted, and it was fixed not long after!
As someone else mentioned, the bills move around way too easily on the page which is a nuisance. And there's no way to enable or adjust notifications so it's essentially useless unfortunately... Edit: I noticed the bills no longer sliding around in an uncontrollable fashion. I have to bump up my rating on that alone 👍 Having to manually input notifications myself for every bill on the calendar page is an unfortunate inconvenience however...(and a nitpick, can't mark as paid on the main page)
For anyone looking to get this app, definitely pay for the ad free experience, the utility is worth it. Also a subscription to use the PC browser version of you are first starting to add bills to it. suggestion: On the calender screen you can edit dollar amounts on individual bills for a given date. Is it possible to add a function to change the date for just one occurrence of a reoccurring bill rather than having to modify that under the bill itself on the first tab? gripe: always online req
