Reviews for Murphy Drive Rewards

App no longer works. All it does is scroll through 3 opening ads. Can't get drive rewards or points. Points aren't that great anyway. Same old products every week. Also don't get points at the pump so why enter my phone number? Can't use them either. Murphy's apparently doesn't care to allow use of the app. Only see Fast Facts and nothing else. No points showing, don't even know if I'm earning them or not! Fix it or I'll uninstall it and shop elsewhere!

Points are not easy to earn I feel is the only issue. I feel you should be able to "earn" points a lot more than you currently are able to do. Seems like after a few points it shuts you out for a period of time like a week or so. I love the idea of the app it's just not been as practical as I'd imagined it would be. Like take for instance speedy rewards points they allow you to get points a lot more and also redeem them for more things. I like the service here at Murphy's though so I keep coming

It is really goofy that you aren't able to favorite locations. I use a QuikTrip app and it shows me my favorite stations gas prices when I open it. On this stupid thing you have to go through the tedious process of manually finding the station you are looking for every single time. All I want is to see 2 stores prices that are near my home! Frustrating!!!

It's easy to use and it's better than nothing. I'm still waiting for them to make the points more available to use instead of me having to spend 1,000 points all at once. On top of being forced to spend 1,000 points after reaching 1,000 points. The point system itself adds up pretty slowly. I've seen around 7 points since my last 3 fill ups of $20+ each time.

There was nothing to complain about until I needed to change my phone number in the app. It's been pending for months. Luckily, I can still access my rewards by using my old number but it shouldn't even be. Also, there should definitely be more ways to get points other than just getting the gas itself. I use the app but it's not beneficial until I've pumped X amount of gas.

Until they fix the UI (NOBODY WANTS YOUR FAST FACTS OR WHATEVER) 1 star. I can't even make a profile but I've been accumulating points for a long time. I can't even use them because they don't have actual site access, only an App. Which, frankly, is lazy because how else can I get customer service in any form? It's like they don't want to provide anything other than a promise.

I changed my review from 5 stars to 3: App is easy to use. However, points are not easy to earn. You can only rev up once a week. So far, my last 3 weeks have resulted to 5 pts each time. I won't have a shot at any rewards going this rate. Surveys are hardly ever offered. So the chance of earning points are very low. Once points are high enough to redeem, they're all taken. Then the long cycle repeats itself.

Murphy's has been my favorite gas station since they started popping up in my area. So, I was excited when they started the Drive Rewards, and quickly downloaded the app. I'm happy with it, and have only had 1 small issue using the app, which was when I entered my phone number, it automatically put a 1 at the start, so the number I use when I go to the store isn't my actual phone number. Unfortunately, once you enter a phone number, it cant be changed w/o help from customer service.

The only good thing about this app is that I could get points to get free fuel and helped immensely with the price of cigarettes. Otherwise, I had no use for it. Since, I quit smoking the only thing I use it for is fuel. I don't purchase things from Murphy's too build points because it cost so damn much, your really not saving. So, I don't have a way to build a points other than to use the rewards app button and it only gives 5 Points at a time. It takes months to get to 100.

Downloaded and reinstalled twice still a blank white screen. My Murphys is 22 miles away so when I go I buy in bulk the tabacco products I use plus gas of course. The employees are always great and before the app was even known about they would use my phone number for discounts anyhow. I recently learned I could use the points I've already earned for discounts on various other items to include fuel. all I need to do is complete the registration on the app. "No problem" I said. Smh app won't work

Avoid. Read the privacy document. They purge your points after only 3 months. The primary purpose of this app is to retrieve and sell your personal information. I cashed in over 100 pts today filled up my tank and saved ~$1.00. I gained 14 pts so after 7 more fill ups and spending another ~$301 for their fuel (in less than 3 months) they will give me another ~$1.00. I'm sure they already know what I think they can do with their rewards app. A loyal customer for 2+ decades. Not anymore. Shameful.

The app is handy to have. The rewards aren't extensive but every little bit helps, and why not earn money (discounts) while spending money! The weekly Rev Up is a little silly...5 points is 5 more than I had before, but as has been said, that's about all it ever lands on! At least don't show numbers like 20, 30, etc. when you're never going to stop on them!

The app and program are good and it definitely saves you money! However, the "Earn" button only ever worked once and I received only 15 points for my survey. Hasn't worked since. The "Rev-up" button is good but rarely do you get more than 15 points a week and usually between 5-15. You keep "revving" because you hope one day it'll land on the higher point values, but it never does. But this is not a complaint!! Free money off gas purchases helps out a lot and there are other ways to earn.

UNINSTALLING. after all this time of using this app, it suddenly wants to "know more about me" and needs a password. I don't recall setting one, and it wasn't any of the three that i use. Nonsense. It's my phone and nothing about it has changed. Congratulations, your app has lost a regular customer. Too easy for me to go to another place. There's a million of them.

Unfortunately, despite very high app ratings, I have to drop a low score due to the app's failure to take my information 3 times in a row on my first install. I cleared the app's cash and forced it to stop the last attempt, and the same "vroom vroom" message popped up again. Probably a great app, probably great deals, but it's worthless if it can't be logged into.

Was a 4 1/2 ☆ Now 2 star's because the rev up isn't working. And the app struggles to open up most of the time it doesn't open at all. I've uninstaled it and re-installed it. But didn't do any good. Bugs have gotten bigger and worse. Fix it!! A few times i didn't get my points after getting gas ect. Murphy is the only gas station i get my gas at for the past 8 years. Hope the app gets fixed really soon.

App is great, never have had any problems, and purchase points seem to pile up quickly. However.....whenever I rev up (basically spinning a wheel) to get my weekly points, you can see numbers scrolling like 45, 60, and then it will land on 5 almost every week. Five points for as much money as I spend here every time???! You never see numbers like 5, 10 etc. when the wheel is spinning. Very misleading.

Pros: The app shows you the price for gas at your nearest Murphy station. The app is easy to use. Cons: Points are hard to get unless you use the "Rev Up" feature, which can only be done once a week. Rewards are limited, and take most of your points if you want to redeem for anything. There are contests in the app fairly often, but again, they take most of your point to enter, and you're not guaranteed to win anything.

Truly was one of the best point apps ever, until I worked a 4 month job that took me into the middle of nowhere. unable to use the app for longer than 90 days and all your points will expire. I had nearly 1000. So I called. Its in the "fine print". lol. Just be careful. Will no longer be using. It took alot of purchases to obtain those points just to lose them. Bye Murpheys. You lost a customer for LIFE.

We love the app and the chance to save some money. The one downfall is you can only get 20 gallons with your discount, I think we should at least be able to fill our tank up. Second is when they promote buy 3 waters & get 100 points, the stores near us never have the water in stock, EVER so we can never gain those extra points. We don't drink any of that other stuff, unfortunately. We love the store, the low prices, the fuel seems to be much better than other places and the app otherwise.
