I've been scouring for an actually competent music player, downloaded many duds, and it seems I've finally found it! Your music can be played over other apps (the settings are very thorough), playlists seem to work fine for me so far, and the ads are fairly minimal compared to others which can be quite overbearing. Thank goodness my search is over!! Now time to remake all my playlists in this player

Really good music app. Have tried many other apps but this is the one I'm staying with. Easy, easy to create playlists, I don't experience any random skipping in songs as I did in other apps. Best feature for me is the simple way to turn off the player when I'm done. Thanks for a great app. UPDATE: app has started skipping on songs randomly and will just completely shut down. Going to uninstall and try something else.

This app is the best MP3 player yet, it has about every feature you could possibly ask for. It even lets you edit everything on an MP3 file including the name, album, creator and date of the song as well as it lets you add custom photo covers for indivual songs, albums, artists and more. Overall this app is the best I have usen so far, I have downloaded around 8 other MP3 players, and all of them are a fraction to how good this app is. Plus it has a reasonable amount of ads, if any at all!

Exceptional music playing app! I got so much more than I needed. When downloading songs on this phone, I'm picky on the titles because the previous apps I use didn't allow me to change the names, but with this app you can not only rename the song title, album, and genre, but you can organize your playlists in a plethora of ways (my preferred is duration ascending, so useful for timing myself on daily tasks!) and even tweak each song to your own liking incase you don't like the intro, outro, etc!

I like this app quite a bit, however I wish that there was an ability to scroll through the individual songs instead of having to listen to the entire track. but reading at five stars for speed, simple and clear interface, ease-of-use, and ability to delete songs from playlist. Oddly, other audio players that I've tried don't always have this.

So far so good, this app will play your music no matter if you brought your music with you from your own collection. Seems to easily hurdle over other music player apps in this regard. There is really nothing to complain about, it has all the features that have been slowly removed from other players like being able to separate your music into genres. It will play all of an artists songs, and it can separate the songs neatly into specific albums. Five stars because it works very well so far.

Works exactly like I wanted, adds are minimum and not intrusive, music is easy to sort and find and edit, and the layout is simple and intuitive. The only thing I wish was that they had a scrolling feature off to the side that mode it faster to jump to songs you're looking for but that's minimal and doesn't detract from how good the player, itself, is.

Really glad it plays music I've recorded. However nothing seems random in random mode and it's fallen in love with Paul Simon which is just filler music for me, also seems to want to do double sets from an album, if this is some kind of algorithm, please remove it. Update: Added a bunch more music, which helps, but still likes to repeat artist(s) in one listen, which is annoying. If I wanted repetition I would just listen to commercial radio.

This was the only music app that would load my songs in the correct order for each album. It also recognizes compilation albums, like my Broadway musical soundtracks, that have multiple artists on the same album. It won't split the album up into 15 different folders but recognizes that it is all the same album. I've tried at least 5 music apps before I tried this one. It's 100% the best. I only wish I could customize the theme/skin more, but that's minor.

Very nice music player, but I don't see a way to import playlists (m3u) from my PC-based music player. Would be good to provide those kinds of instructions. Also, I agree with the previously stated issues: Would like the option of opening the artist and getting a list of the albums instead of all the songs and would like the display of albums to include the album cover from the album folder. After all, I can see the album cover from the song view.

Not too bad. Edit; I've been using this for a few years and it works really good for me. I'd like to be able to customize the background more, thats the only thing I would change! I was worried I'd lose my library if the app went down or got reset, but I factory reset my phone and lost it all anyway, I wouldn't use any another app! Edit²; I found the background editor tab, this app has everything.

Overall I like this app..coming here reluctantly after they shut down the Google music app. I like that you can rearrange the order of your songs. You can edit the names of files. I can also play mp3 downloaded from other sites. My only issue is it stops for no reason periodically...and I'm wondering if it has to do with software updates. I've rebooted the phone every time it does it more than once in 5 minutes but it is aggravating to deal with. Any chance of fixing that? Thank you. Good job!

I was looking for a player that allowed me to change the speed of music files. After installing and removing five others, I settled on this one, just to have a decent player. 👉 Surprise! I found that I can change the speed for songs individually, and the app remembers my settings, too! 👍 There is an option to change the background and highlight colors... You can import images for a more personalized feel. Overall, very happy with the app - and minimum ads! 🤗 🪷🥰🪷

I put five stars because this app is easy to use, and it allows me to listen to my downloaded music, but I have noticed a few minor issues. Recently, some songs have been being randomly removed from my playlist from time to time. There's no real pattern of which playlist it may take from, which songs it takes, or even how many, but it's really annoying to have to go back in and try to find the songs again. Would love it if this issue was resolved.

Great Replacement for the old "Music Player" App on my Samsung phone. It gives you so may options besides just listening to your stored music. You can even edit, which I haven't had the need to do but it's really great for my needs. I had so much music downloaded into my phone and the old app was cutting out. Downside: it's very difficult to stop the app! I'd love some advice from the developer about this! I've had to go into the system settings and "Force Stop" to get it to stop playing.

This app played music just fine. A problem was it kept running, even when I tried to exit out of it. This caused my phone to heat up. Then after a couple of days, I started getting prompts from the "software developer" asking me to give the app five stars. It was hard to exit out of the prompt without giving a rating. That led me to uninstall it. The next day after I thought I had uninstalled it, it was still running! I uninstalled it again. Now it is gone. I found a much better music player

I need an app on which I can play backing tracks to accompany my lead instruments, be it guitar, synthesizer, what have you. This music player allows me to arrange my backing tracks in any order I like. It plays the songs without commercial interruption. It also continues to play when my screen goes black. I can arrange my backing tracks in one whole set for the evening, or I can break it up into however many sets I want or need to, and pull them up quickly. A very useful musical app. 👍

3 year update: I LOVE this app! I have no idea how a music player app could be better. This one does everything well. It's easy to create personalized playlists, to add or delete songs from playlists is easy, finding songs by artist or album genre or name of song is easy. So this app is fun to use and does everything I could possibly need in a music playing app

I've been using this app for a few years and it's been great until about 2 months ago. My playlist is going along for about 2 or 3 songs then the sound stops. song playing, I can see the progress bar moving, but no sound. I have to back up or advance to next song for sound to start again. Not just in my truck, but on my Bluetooth speaker as well. It's getting worse. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no help. Maybe needs an update.

It showed promise but does not handle song titles properly. I'm a musician, and half the time, the songs I import show up with Chinese characters for the title. And God forbid you ever remove a song from a playlist and then try to add a remixed version of the song to the playlist! It says the song already exists. It absolutely won't allow me to add the song back to the playlist!
