I’ve been using Music Recognition – Find Songs for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that can identify any song you’re listening to, whether it’s on the radio, in a store, or just a song stuck in your head. Pretty solid app if you’re into music and trying to figure out what that catchy tune is.
Here’s what you do: you just open the app, hit the big button, and it’ll listen for a few seconds and tell you the name of the song, the artist, and even give you links to listen to the full track on Spotify and YouTube. There’s also a cool feature where you can hum or sing the melody and it’ll try to figure it out. And if you have a song stuck in your head but can’t place the name, you can use the search function to browse by lyrics or artist.
Look, if you’re the kind of person who’s always Shazaming songs or asking your friends “what’s this song?”, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the recognition doesn’t always work 100% and the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re into music discovery.
