I can't pay on the app. Keeps saying "error payment didn't go through". I've tried everything, on several different days to get it to work. Had to sign in on the web page on my due day and pay there. What's the point of this app if I can't pay? I'm also being charged for a month I didn't recieve services, which is wrong of Frontier. But that's another issue itself. Long forward to moving and finding a better company with morals.

When I try to troubleshoot my issue, I have to interact with the chatbot Giga, who is useless and slow. Most of the time the chat won't load at all and I have to close the app and start over. Giga said I can change service appointments in the app, but I can't find that. I spoke to an actual person, maybe, and the app froze and I had to I force quit.
runs really slow. can't always make a payment because it's often having technical issues. have run into the problem of submitting a payment and the payment never going through (even after confirmation that it was submitted successfully.) Whether it be due to NSF by the payee or error in processing by Frontier, they should have something in place where the customer is notified if the payment didn't clear. Other than these things, I don't use the site for much else so I don't other input
What's the deal with issues signing in? I've had this service for many years. The more the price goes up the worse things get. Every month now when I try to sign in, it says we're having trouble signing you in or technical difficulties. App and website. Loads very slow. It's the only account I have doing this. Funny thing is, the app worked flawlessly when my service got suspended. Not one problem then. As soon as I paid it, it was back to the normal bs. Prob going to change to T-Mobile.
I never receive a statement on my email when it is currently due. I only receive past due statements on my email. I've tried desperately to correct this. By calling, emailing, etc. Nothing gets through. I don't like paying my bills late. How can I be receiving emails for past due amounts and not a current bill? And why can't this matter be resolved? I guess frontier likes to be paid late.
The MyFrontier app has been a terrible experience for me. I sporadically receive bills via email. And as far as text alerts, I haven't been receiving those as well. Now the service. If you have any issues with service, you are on your own. Internet service constantly disconnects and reconnects randomly. Our TV service continues to pixelate on different channels, different TVs, and at different times. I wouldn't recommend this service.
I'd give less than a one if I could. The app never can connect to my router, the speed is always intermittent. Customer service sucks and can't think outside the box to fix issues. The tech we have in our areas is awesome, so there's the one star I guess. Super disappointed with speed. I work from home in a call center and swear the speed gets worse each year.
It sucks because for one, its DSL. Two, can't change password to wifi with app. connection drops 4-6 times a day for a minimum of 4 minutes each time. When connected, it works pretty good for 1 device. Once you connect more than 1 device, you're in Buffer/Lag town from that point. Can't complain too much because I'm in a rural area so I gave 2 stars intead of 1.
Absolutely zeeo stars. I can't even log in to the app. I contacted customer service, and they couldn't get me logged in either. This internet service isn't cheap to begin with, then add in the app that is supposed to help customers doesn't work. Ridiculous. I guarantee I'm expected to pay my bill monthly. Frontier should ensure the app is functioning properly.
This app sucks! All I can do is see payment history, what services you have and set up autopay. As far as being helpful when I have an issue, it isn't. You try to find direction and it tells you where to go but that place doesn't exist on the app. It doesn't give you a phone number or chat window. It just makes you realize I am paying too much for so little and when I call I have a wait time of 45 minutes. No option to have them call you back. My time is not worth much apparently.
The app offers nothing more than logging in to the website. And neither show the correct info ref my acct services. And neither offers any help when it comes to service issues. And calling them and wasting hours of time over a couple of weeks doesn't resolves service issues either. When trying to sell you new or enhanced services they are all over you, help is plentiful! But after that, when it's time to fix problems they've created, forget about it.
This is one of the worst apps out there. They are a billion dollar company with a 10 dollar app. Can't talk with anyone, and when I do, It lock ups, or I can't switch back to get the service number to the support staff without losting the conversation and i have to start all over. Let me guess, "we are sorry for that," How about taking the completes seriously.
I see all the 1-star ratings, and I'm not surprised. This app is utter garbage. Hard to believe a large provider serves out this level of non-functioning software. Pretty shameful, really. Logging in at one point broke altogether until current version. Now able to log in, but bill pay doesn't work, and my router status is always listed as offline or unknown. Frontier should include a 'file a complaint' button in their next version.
App barely works. Half the time I can't log in. If I can, it constantly freezes or the information doesn't update. ChatBot is not helpful as you have to ask repeatedly to get a representative and when you do finally get a live person, they try to get you to upgrade as you are troubleshooting your initial issue. I've been with Frontier for years and I'm almost to the point of switching providers.
Bad app, worse customer service. As an attempted new customer, it's been the poorest customer support experience I've ever had. As a pending new customer, the bot is useless and slow, and if you can ever reach support chat with a person, the app says it's not responding over and over (close or wait) so chat is nearly impossible. phone support is just as difficult, pushing people to this useless app. if you have to switch apps to get an order number or other info, the chat goes dead.
I've come to the conclusion that Frontier's a joke. I'll be looking into other services. I try to call the number, and can't actually get through to anyone for help. All it does is set an in-person appointment, which I don't want, automatically with no input from you, tell you to go to the app to change it, and then have it not show up on the app. Can't get through to an agent on the app chat, either. Wifi keeps dropping, can't get service in most of the house, whole home equipment won't work.
the ai agent is terrible and the app crashes frequently. I put in a ticket for support in the app, and I started getting text messages from frontier telling me "thanks for calling us" and to download the app for future support. They also keep texting updates to my ticket multiple times per day, when my service was out for only 1/2 hour total. I try to contact support to stop the texts, but the app just keeps crashing during my chat.
I have been a customer for 6 months and I can't log in. They have zero technical support. I try to call and let them know my issue the ai answering system send me a link to change my password. I have tried that several times. I still get the same notification. "There was a problem logging in, please tra again later." I'm switching back to optimum..
Keeps telling me I can't login even though my password is correct (I can login on the website). Tried deleting and re-downloading the app, but that didn't work. It's very glitchy and slow when it does work. I would just not use the app, but the website keeps referring you to the app for things, which is really frustrating when you know the app won't work smoothly, if at all.
This app is generally awful, slow, lags, sometimes just won't load pages at all. But the best part is that you can't report an outage or contact anyone regarding your services, it will just tell you that there is an outage and it will tell you that they've resolved it. Regardless of whether you have internet or not. Currently sitting with a 14 hour outage that they texted me an hour ago was fixed- it isn't and their app even says it was fixed 10 hours ago. Would not recommend.
