The app is great! I've only had 1 problem with it though, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The app has said that my bill is "due soon," rather than due now or past due causing a late charge. This is something that I hope will soon be corrected. Possibly even getting a refund of said late charges? Anyway, I'm also curious as to why only 2 of my 3 Synchrony accounts are accessible through the Synchrony app?

Terrible app! I logged in and it wasn't even functioning! It literally told me to go to the website instead, and the link it gave was broken & leads to a blank page. The entire synchrony credit corporation needs to make things better. It's literally impossible to get into your account if you lose your account number. Then when you call, it takes forever to navigate to get a human and when you do they're passing you around from different person to different person. I hate this company.

Triple check your auto payment schedule, I questioned whether I even set it up the first time I missed a payment and set it up again. Then I missed another payment and I realized one account was stuck on "activating" which I had to call to activate it even though the first one activated without me having to call at all. So aggravating! Enjoy my two missed payment fees, Synchrony. Their phone system doesn't work either - pay by phone drops the call. Feels like it's a feature, not a bug!

What an absolute piece of garbage. The app is broken, the website denies access from multiple devices and browsers, the robot sucks to take information and fails, the representative hung up immediately after taking my name. I'm just trying to make a payment. Edit: I reinstalled the app and it finally took my information. Still annoyed, time spent.

Their system automatically sets up a minimum payment and allocats them. That system will leave balances unpaid, putting you on the hook for the interest accrued and any future interest. There is no control in the app for this which is significantly and purposefully opaque, and therefore predatory in my opinion. By the way, "interest free" adds a fee to the price. It's actually "interest fee." I won't be adding more payments and I will close my account as soon as my balances are paid off.

My issue is that no matter what I do, it only shows 1 credit card account. I have 4. When I log onto the website, it shows all 4 accounts. The app only shows one with exactly the same login credentials. Trying to get customer service to help with this is an absolute nightmare. I couldn't get out of the cycle of chat bots that really don't help at all. If I only had one account, this app would be fine. I still need help.

For the past 4 months, I have been unable to use this app. Every time I try to sign in, it resets itself, sometimes closes out the app completely. I have to use the actual website to access my account. The app is completely useless. I don't know if they are making it compatible to certain devices now. but on my galaxy s8, nothing works. As of right now, 1 star. If it was an option, I would give it 0 stars.

Dealing with your bank's app and website not being properly designed and programmed, caused it to be a total nightmare just trying to make a payment. THANKFULLY it has been amazingly redone & is now one the fastest, easiest & best credit card app. There's still only one HUGE issue going on still. Since starting this card, my eBay purchase points have not been being transferred to my eBay account for use. Now there's also absolutely no information about the points balance & earnings on the app

Synchrony Sucks. Synchrony Bank is the worst. When I got the alert of the change I had a feeling it was not going to be good. My limit was increase about 3 or 4 months ago fast forward to today, they decreased my credit limit to my balance amount. Keep in mind my accounts are up to date. I pay on time, been with hsn for years. I don't like the fact that they increase your limit one month then 2 or 3 months later they decrease it. That affects your credit . Just wrong, once I pay it off I'm out

Some apps that financial companies use for payment, and servicing are subpar and confusing, however, MySynchrony is not only very user friendly and easy to use, it's quite esthetically pleasing also. Update: for the last 2 months I've had a difficult time logging in. To the extent that I cannot tt pay my bill and must remember to check back later to pay it before the due date. Right now, I cannot log in to pay my bill. This is frustrating, and disheartening.

when I try to log into the app to check balances or pay a bill about 3 out of 4 times it will say we are having trouble connecting try again later. Then the customer service number takes about 10 min to get through the prompts to get to a live agent. My Amazon Card is managed through this bank, it is becoming increasingly cumbersome. I am seriously considering canceling the card because its just not worth it.

Unreliable. I have 2 unrelated card accounts that are with Synchrony. Signing in is a nightmare The app is frequently inaccessible. Setting up the accounts is nearly impossible and even when done they stop working or interfere with each other . I wish Sams Club and Lowes would find another, reliable bank to host their cards!!!

I've been using this app for years for 4 credit cards and I make multiple payments every week all the time. But, for the past 3 weeks, I haven't been able to access my account on their app anymore!!! I'm only allowed to pay as a guest now! So now I have to keep track which bill is due manually or they'll make me pay a late fee! THIS IS SO INCONVENIENT & I'VE BEEN USING THIS APP FOR OVER 7YRS WITH NO PROBLEMS. PLEASE HELP FIX IT

App used to work just fine, then they updated it and made it so you have to re-register and have your account number (not the card number, but the account number) available to locate you. I don't know about you, but I have no idea where my account number is. Either way, making you re-register is ridiculous. I deleted the app and will just go online to make payments. Synchrony cannot seem to get their act together with all of their different store accounts, making you have separate logins.

absolutely terrible. I paid what I owed on my credit card way ahead of schedule. 4 days later it shows the payment posted but its not reflected in my available credit. I guess the chevron cards are single use? any time I try to use the live chat it disappears and I have to reload the page. it is a nightmare trying to get ahold of customer service. Just go with a different company.

after the most recent update, i tried to sign into the app to pay my bill (car care), and now the app is telling me that all of my account creditals are wrong, and I have to create new ones even though you supposedly made it "easier to sign in" i went into the website on my laptop and signed in with absolutely no issues. FIX the app, there is no reason for it to be doing this. it worked just fine before.

The app was working fine until recently. I use biometric login to access my two synchrony accounts, Sam's Club and America's Tire. Now it says "We're sorry can't locate your account right now" and goes back to sign in. It continues this till I press cancel and then brings up a manual sign in. Once I put my username and password then it opens the app to manage the cards. Hope they are working on a fix because it appears I'm not the only one this is happening to!

It was an ok app for managing payments in one spot. However with the current failure of even being able to login to the app is just ridiculous. It's been several weeks of not being able to get in. with the amount of complaints on the matter, it seems like enough time to sort the issue. I've had to pay my cards through each vendor. a nuisance but do-able. I'll likely delete this app since it's broken anyhow.

Edit: I haven't been able to get into this app now for a week. It keeps saying it can't process my login request. App works half the time. Can't seem to sign frequently enough that it gets annoying trying to manage anything. Unrelated to the app, their customer service is clueless. I had to call three times to add my spouse to my account. They kept telling me he was on there, yet he never got a card for over a month.

Many 'store' credit cards are held and serviced by Synchrony. The app is okay; nothing special to note. The problem with Synchrony is that they will change your credit limit based on your carried balance (many stores offer '6 mo. same as cash' or 24 mo. with no interest'). This triggers the bank to lower your available credit because you carry a balance. Also, if you go several months to a year without using the account, Synchrony will CLOSE it without notice! I've had this happen more than once
