Disappointing to say the least. After having the app for over a year, almost two, an update caused it to stop working. Galaxy note 20 now recieves an error message. "Browser required to support the action." I have four browsers, with a default set for apps that require browser, like this or Google search. What good is an app that gives me access to my schedule & lets me clock in when I get to the store, if it doesn't let me login? Please reply to this review when it's fixed. I will change rating

It'll show you something that's one color and then when you open the page it's showing a completely different color, and the colors have different UPCs, so you can't even see what you want. It shows items in the app that are actually NOT sold by walmart. If you lose internet access even for a second you have to crash the app, re-login, and half the time that doesn't work either. Aggravating as hell.
About 90% of the feature from My Walmart Schedule are missing. As a Supervisor over my department, it's nice to see my team's schedule, the store schedule, open shifts, etc. I'm not finding any of this on the new app. The rate of pay is missing from my profile as well. Seems like this apl will be great for just basic schedule checking, but not good at all for any other purpose.
It's been over a month and I still can not login. Still saying a "Sign-in Failed" error. I have emailed the support team over a week ago about this issue and still not fixes. I used it mostly clock in/out and to check my schedule. My store has already begun removing the computers and the time clocks don't work half the time. Our phones have not arrived yet either. This is ridiculous.
I think it's a good app, it's nice that it doesn't log me out randomly as often as it did. I do wish there was more options for the report an absence area, like weather related, or transportation related, and instead of saying "none" it said "other" because none makes it sound like you don't have a reason you're calling in, other than you just don't feel like showing up to work, and there are valid reasons why someone might have to call in that aren't listed.
App works fine until it doesn't. There is absolutely nothing special about it, but can be mercilessly broken. Considering it's pretty much the only way 90% of associates clock in, you'd think it'd be a bit easier to use but no. There are several features that make zero sense, and some so convoluted to access they're simply not worth using. No wonder all of the older associates use the punch cards. I haven't been able to log in for three days.
This app was working well on my android phone... until last week at least. Now I can't get past the sign in page and I get an error message that says "Browser required to support this feature." Deleted the app, downloaded again and still the same problem. It's pretty much useless to me now. Oh....I see that you've added Spanish to the app. That's awesome. It would be even more awesome if the app worked as advertised.
App is constantly not working, so I have to try rebooting my phone, then uninstalling & reinstalling the app. The app is sooo frequently doing this, especially when I'm trying to clock in or out, which takes up time, so it's quicker to just clock in and out from the computer in our training room, which we're not supposed to do unless it's really needed, which in cases like this, it is. PLEASE try & fix this issue. I've also tried updating the app, too, but that didn't help either. Thank you. 🙂
This app was already terrible when it first came out & every "update" is worse. I'm not the only one having issues with it. Currently the biggest is it keeping us logged in. It constantly kicks us out. When trying to log in there's a stupid verification code that takes forever to come. By the time it does it doesn't work & the whole process has to start over. It shouldn't even have to be logged into. It's kept on our phone. No one else wants to get into it. It's a terrible app.
Very, very bad app. Time clock is the worst part of it. No matter where I am in the store, no matter what time I try to clock in, it always says I'm nowhere near. Resetting data, clearing cache, turning phone off then on again doesn't work either. Some minor issues: signing out constantly, time off totals never accurate, time off requests don't go through. It's a very poor excuse for an app. The only reason it doesn't get just one star is because it isn't flagged as malware when its downloaded.
I have not been able to sign in on my personal phone for 1 week now... I like being able to use it on both my work and personal phones. it helps me to perform my job better. but now I can't get it to work. it brings up the home screen where I can click "sign in" but then it doesn't load the page. tried coping the url & opening in another browser but it gave an error. ive tried uninstalling multiple times. please fix this issue.
This app is ridiculous & not good. I tried logging in, and it sometimes let me log in to check my schedule and more, but at times, it'll log me back out. Whenever I try logging back into the app, it'll keep kicking me out and having me log in multiple sessions before the app will let me through. This shouldn't be an issue. Walmart makes billions of dollars every year but can't fix their damn app for their employees. Why have a system to clock in & out that doesn't work properly?! FIX IT!
Decent app, however, I have to go through the sign in process too many times in a shift. Doesnt make for the best in efficiency for customer service when looking up items or price checking (customers dont like to wait). Its glitchy on personal phones, both android and iphone. Has trouble clocking in & out, as well as location issues (especially inside the store).
MISSING DAYS ON CALENDAR! App Needs IMPROVEMENTS! When I'm trying to put in for a day off for an appointment, some days of the month are GONE! EXAMPLE: All Fridays are missing in November! 😡 It's like that in other months also. Sometimes when I'm putting in PTO or PPTO, I can't because days are missing! It doesn't matter if my cell phone is connected to wifi or not, I have problems with it almost every time I use it. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled & reinstalled this app. Nothing helps!
On both my work and personal phones, the app has been doing this weird thing where I try to clock in or out just to be hit with a "location error" notification when I'm standing right next to the main office while connected to the WIFI. I've been using the computer to clock in or out, which I should never have to do unless I willingly choose to do so. This has been going on for almost the entire month and there has yet to be an update. Fix this!
I did like this app, notice past tense. I don't know what you all did but now I can not use it for working the self- checkout. Ir constantly freezes, or goes black when I need to scan customer orders/items . I then have to close the app and open again and hope it works. I get one or two and then it does it again to the next customer, and the next and so forth, making it impossible to do my job,and meanwhile customers are piling up while employees are trying to get the phone to scan
There is so much wrong with this app it is unreal. It slows down your phone, drains its battery. Every time I try to set up my free walmart plus and paramount plus accounts, it tells me "something went wrong" and says I already have a membership, which isn't true, I've never signed up for either of them. I can confirm this through the paramount plus app, because it won't let me sign into a non-existant account.
It'll let me scan items for a few minutes before I have to close out of the app and reload it. It's extremely annoying to do price changes and pinpoint because of it. Edit as of 8/31/25: I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the camera still will stop working after a few scans. I am sick and tired of having to close the app and reopen it for each little scan I have to do. it should not be my phone, as it's newer and better operating. This is ridiculous.
If I could give this negative stars, I would. The scanner doesn't work more than a handful of times before you have to reboot the app; it periodically blows the lighting balance out so that the screen is entirely white or blacked out. There's no way that I've found to toggle the scanner noise off, which is a nightmare on the overnight shift. It's misery.
It's decent, but the camera is definitely an issue. I keep scanning items, and then all of a sudden, the camera goes black, and I have to close the app, log back into my walmart app, and then open the camera back up. and if you're having a really unlucky day, the camera will still be black, and you'll have to do the process all over again. not to mention, much like other reviews have said, it drains your battery like crazy. please fix this.
