Lost Memories! Through breaks ups, finding myself again, Deployments, to even my first born child, over 15 years of playlist created gone like that. I rode the wave between the switch from Rapshody and back but I don't know how much further I can stay if I'm not able to recover my music that I've cherished through the years. From 250 song playlist to 8 or zero. SMH! UPDATED! Used Soundiiz to transfer all my playlists to Spotify!!!!! 🙌🏾🙏🏾 small price to pay for happiness.

Music has disappeared, songs & artists are mislabeled, and the playlists I've spent years compiling are empty. With no communication from the company to explain what's going on. I don't want more AI slop & automixes shoved down my throat. I can go to YouTube for that. We want the old catalog back. Won't be renewing my subscription this year if this is Napster's future.
After years of using this app, I am done. In the last few months I have watched my Playlist go from 450+ songs to about 70. Napster has either lost the rights to the songs or major distributors are choosing not to renew. This app was good when it was managed well. The new owners are "going a different direction". They will be doing so without my money, and without most other previous subscribers as well according to online reviews and Reddit.
I been with this app for a very long time and normally love it but as of late my music have been gone. very frustrating especially when I depended on it. I will be canceling if not fixed soon and I paid for the full year but I better get all back because I just renewed like a month ago. I really hope it don't come to that and ALL my song be put back and all the artist as advertised. am sure am not the only one thinking of canceling. times ticking.
I've been using Napster for over 10 years with few issues. Recently 3/4 of my songs have disappeared that I have been collecting for the past 10 years. I understand they are going through a "transition" for AI Playlist but continuing to charge me month after month knowing most of the music would be deleted is uncalled for and quite frankly a slap to the face. At the very least I would have expected an alert of some kind letting me know that 3/4th of my library would be gone.
Service has went way downhill over the years. Songs don't play all the way through and some songs don't play at all. About 70% of my saved playlists that I've accumulated over the years are gone. Right after I payed for a full year subscription, this app starts crashing like crazy and this was after this last update in September, 2025. I can't get a refund because it been over 14 days. Don't waste your money. Go with another service.
All of my playlist are gone!!! I've had this app for 20 years. If changes were going to be made this drastically then the company should have let us know ahead of time that our playlist would be altered and the majority of the music and artists would not be available. This is very upsetting. A lot of us have had this app for so long because it was easy and it was great and it was reliable. Please advise if the music will be coming back and if the app will be fixed.
I "inherited" Napster when it was Rhapsody and even before that when it was Yahoo Music, so we're talking about a good 20 (something) years and I loved it, never had a problem with it, it was my go-to music streaming app. However, when I had a playlist of 500 songs now it went down to only one, something's not right. I saw they want to do an AI thing, which is fine, but it would be nice to communicate this to your subscribers so we can be informed instead of getting frustrated 😠
This use to be a really good app!! I had been using since 2007!! even when in changed to Rhaposdy and then back to Napster they great music selection much better than Spotify!! but for the last couple of years I starting noticing my music slowly disappearing which brings me to now!! More than half of my music has simply vanished!! SO basically record labels are pulling there artists music!! so what am I paying for!!?? I'm not!! delete!! I'm done!! YOUTUBE seems pretty good so far!!
UPDATE 09-23-25 65 PLAYLISTS DISAPPEAR OVERNIGHT! 10 YEARS GONE! I know of the "transition to AI" but damn, it's all gone. POOF! I listen to my playlists DAILY! I can't put into words how disappointed I am. Horrible for anyone who's daily mental health is synonymous with music!! Excellent music selection. Easy to create playlists. My only suggestion is to have the ability to check for duplicates and mix songs in playlist without using a PC. I would like to do this on my cell phone. Thanks!
No longer carries the music / artist I've listened to for years. Playlist pretty much wiped out. No warning, no heads up. Especially when I'm paying for this service. To try and cancel subscription, very annoying process. Very disappointed especially since I've been with you since Rhapsody. Some type of notification would have helped.
Not user friendly. Unable to cancel subscription through the app seatings. Had this music for years and it was great to start with but over the past month, I started losing bands/artists off of my playlist. They do not respond when you try to contact them. I had to go through my bank to put a block on payment to them since I was cancelling my subscription.
How the mighty have fallen, from an app that was so much better for listeners and artists alike than the alternatives to some mutated AI slop (tentatively, I guess). You apologies are empty, and you'd rather sacrifice loyal customers for the illusion of more money to be had (allegedly) through AI. I smell a class-action lawsuit coming. And if someone's working on that, sign me up. I'm sure that I and everyone else can use the inevitable $10 settlement for something better. Like a hula hoop.
Been on board since Rhapsody... (aka 10+ years) enjoyed the app immensely. Occasional drops but they were fixed. Now... it's a useless music app. 95% of artists are gone. But there's live music!! cool. It's been over a month and I was hoping there would be something done by now. Oh look! Amazon Music is awesome and it works. Done. I know you guys are transitioning, but wow, your product manager needs a kick in the a$$ as your subscribers are probably dropping by the hundreds on the daily. 😞
I have been using this app since it was Rhapsody, used to recommend it to others. My playlists have lost at least 80% of their songs, artists are getting taken down every day. Years of collecting songs, gone. Paying to have a limited selection just feels like a rip off. Very disappointing. Update: Subscription canceled. They have no problem taking your money while offering nothing for years of loyalty. Fake apologies for AI changes we didn't ask for.
I am sooooo very disappointed with this App. Not to mention how aggravated, irritated, and truly pissed off I am. Like so many other subscribers I've been with Napster ever since it was Rhapsody. After spending many years and hours creating my Playlists I'm down to 41 songs out of over 400 on one of them which contains ALL of my favorite Artists. This is complete BS. Transitioning to a new AI Platform is just not acceptable for me. I've uninstalled and looking for other options. Good job Napster
Minor glitches here and there in the app. But Napster's Customer Support was OUTSTANDING! Jon W resolved my issue within a couple of hours. Update 9/14/25. Now, all my tracks have disappeared, no tracks are listed ON ANY PLAYLISTS including theirs. No help from CSI have been scammed by Napster as I have about 5 months left on a paid one-year subscription with NO REFUNDS! And can't play anything on Napster now. So much for being a long-term subscriber. Now a complaint to the BBB will be coming.
I would give zero stars if I could. years of compiling songs. now my playlists have 3 songs at best. this is frustrating. at this point the company is taking money without providing service. I pay for this service, and at this point, im paying for nothing but a headache and a fake "im sorry for your experience" response. are customers receiving a refund for a music app with no music? Playlist won't even load. I have been a customer since rhapsody. where was the communication to customer? trash.
I have been with Napster since it was a file sharing service. Basically, never had any problems. Now, all of a sudden my playlists are either being completely wiped out, or reduced from 100 songs to 3. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing. This will be my last month of subscription if I can't get some answers. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! 9/8/25 update: Cancelling my subscription effective 10/2. Sad, but not paying for an app that is a shell of what it once was....
I've been using this app since Rhapsody and never made a switch due to all my playlists. I stuck it out even with bad updates over the years, but it's clear MANY MANY songs are no longer available. started off with less known bands, but now bands like Muse , yeah yeah yeahs are almost all gone and many artists barely have music. Now ending my subscription is not available. When I choose "manage subscription" I can't make any changes.
