Been using the National Park Service app for a couple months now. It’s basically an official guide to all the national parks in the US – 420+ of ’em. Pretty solid app if you’re into exploring nature and going on hikes.
Here’s what you can do: there’s interactive maps, virtual tours of key spots in each park, and info on accessibility and facilities. And it’s got a ton of useful details from park rangers, which is nice. And you can even download park info ahead of time so you can use the app when you’re off the grid.
Look, if you love national parks, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – there’s still some parks missing content and the UI can be a bit clunky at times. But overall it does a great job of being your virtual park ranger. Worth checking out before your next trip.
