Been using NewsON – Local News & Weather for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you stream live local news and on-demand news clips from over 285 stations across the US. Pretty solid app if you’re into keeping up with what’s happening in your community.
Here’s what you do: you can browse all the local stations in your area and watch their newscasts live or catch up on recent broadcasts. There’s also a section for breaking news clips, which is pretty cool. And you can get alerts when stations are broadcasting live – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a useful feature.
Look, if you want to stay on top of local news and weather, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free.
