I’ve been using NewsON – Local News & Weather for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you stream live local news broadcasts and watch clips from 285+ stations across the US. Pretty solid if you’re into keeping up with what’s happening in your community.
Here’s what you can do – there’s a live stream feature so you can tune in to your local news channel anytime. It’s got a library of past newscasts too, up to 48 hours back. And you can easily jump between different local stations, which is super convenient if you move around a lot.
Look, if you’re the type who likes to stay on top of local news, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of NewsON. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little buggy sometimes and the selection of stations is not 100% complete. But overall it does the job and it’s free, so worth checking out.
