I've tried out a bunch of blue light filter apps and Night Shift is one of the better ones. The automatic scheduling and customization options are really nice, and I've found it does make a noticeable difference in reducing eye fatigue, especially at night. And the only downsides are that the color adjustments can look a bit unnatural at times, and there's no dark mode option which would be perfect for nighttime use. But overall, it's a solid app that delivers on its promise of protecting your eyes from blue light exposure. Definitely recommended if you spend a lot of time on your phone or computer.

Description

I’ve been using Night Shift: Blue light filter for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that adjusts your screen’s colors to reduce blue light exposure at night. Basically, it makes the screen warmer and dimmer so it’s easier on your eyes, especially if you’re using your phone before bed.

There’s a ton of useful features here – you can schedule it to automatically turn on at sunset, adjust the intensity, and even set it to gradually shift the colors over time. It’s got a handy little toggle in the quick settings menu too so you can turn it on and off real quick.

Look, if you spend a lot of time staring at screens like me, this app is a must-have. It’s not perfect – sometimes the colors can look a little weird – but overall it does a great job of reducing eye strain and headaches. Definitely worth checking out.

Pro ver. was well worth the money. The schedule feature is quite priceless and you can't see it until you start using it. I'm not saying it changed my life...

I like the app as it keeps the blue light to a minimum - a feature I find particularly useful in the evenings, and in low light conditions in general....
