The NIV is so easy to understand and is very accurate!!! This app is great because you can read the Bible without ads and without your wifi or mobile data on. You can highlight favorite passages too. My absolute favorite Bible app

Great app when you don't have a Bible with you, reads to you, and soo easy to organize notes, favorite scripture, highlight, and navigate through. Jesus is kind, God bless you all. I pray you stay strong journey with Jesus Christ, he loves you and so do I 💕 🙏🏼!!

Using app is new experience, I've been on site little compared to time app has been installed. Before logging on app today, thoughts were how do I find a version of NIV that reads as version I read, studied so intently 35 yrs ago. My mind memorized chapters throughout the entirety of the Word of God, my reluctance comes because of the changes, words altered from what was firmly held inside me. Slight difference confuses my memory making me hesitate to read but this is best site I've come across.

it is excellent , simple to find a scripture in the old or new testament. it is easy to understand the words written in it, their english is simple, I can even read the bible with my children as they find it simple, and not difficult to read at their level I don't even need to be near them as they read and I don't have to explain anything and that makes my job easier and I can focus on my work while they studying...

Overall, I think it is a great app for Reading the Bible. The reason I give four stars is because It's hard to understand the meaning behind certain verses. It would be nice if you guys added something that would give a short explanation for a confusing verse the users click on. I believe this would bring more people to the app and It would make it worth a 5 five stars.

I love how simple this bible is. No extra commentary from people I don't know. No extra promoting of other bibles or bible versions or any other bible tools. Just the word of the One true living God- exactly what I wanted. There's audio+ searching. I like how you can just search through OT or NT if you want. The second I opened the app...my favorite colors appeared! Pink+purple! You can also customize those too.

Excellent all around app. Both English and Español. Easy to listen to. Easy to keep notes. I stopped short of five stars because I know scriptures well, I just don't remember where and search comes up short of showing me the exact one I'm looking for.

It works quick and smooth, no lagging or taking forever to load, which is a blessing. Plus u can highlight and share any verses or chapters of scripture that resonates with u or with someone u think needs to read that scripture. I read it every night before bed. It even has a bible study guide u can choose how u want to read the bible, whether it be chronological by the order in which things happened or by the order they were written. Its a great bible app for sure.

It's my favorite app of the Bible. So far, no problems and nothing negative to say about it. No ads. Since I have little kids, it's so nice to be able to pull up the bible on my phone instead of trying to carry around a big book all day every day. And i like being able to highlight and autosave certain scriptures. Have not figured out any other features on it yet since its new to me. Thanks for making this!

LOVE this app. No ads and it keeps your place for when you go back to it. Very pretty too. SO glad I switched from my KJV Bible with ads when you open it and when you'd come back to it, and it didn't keep your place. The KJV Bible also used apostrophes like our's, your's, their's, etc. HATED that. Thank God and thank you for this fantastic Bible. I want to keep coming back to it over and over. I greatly appreciate you!

Great Bible app in NIV version! The highlights and bookmarks are great, so is the folders to sort your bookmarks Only complaint I have is that because I have battery saver on, I get a notification about reminders not working whenever I start it up. It takes multiple times of cancelling the notification before it finally leaves. I wish that it could be turned off permanently in the settings. Otherwise, it's a great app

I do not use any functions other than just reading through from start to finish. Each page when finished, you mark it complete and you can close the app and it will be right there when you open it up. I'm never confused on where I left off. Each page is the perfect length. I'm am older man who is just now starting to reading, so the page length is perfect to get started. I'm not overwhelmed by looking far ahead.

I have enjoyed this app thoroughly. I use it every morning in my bible study. Thankfully, I'm not distracted by ads interrupting my reading. Another great thing about this app is it's capability to read scriptures aloud for you. However, the one disappointing thing is you're not able to do key word or scripture searches. That's something that should be addressed.

I downloaded the NIV version and so far its very much like the book version I have at home. I'm very pleased with the ease if maneuverability throughout the bible and use of the bookmarks. The audio portion is great when my eyes are fatigued and I just want to listen to it, especially for the proper pronunciation of the names of people and cities.

Just downloaded the app this week. One simple yet irritating thing keeps this from being a 5-star review. I don't need reminders, but the app makes me cancel the reminders every single time I open it. Also, I don't need or appreciate a reminder that reminders won't work. Is there a way to permanently shut this off? If not, I'll simply delete the app.

Just a tiny non-obtrusive ad at the bottom of each page. Takes a little learning to use. It keeps track of where you are, even in more than one place (don't ever buy a Bible you can't bookmark unless you have a super good memory). Really clear English, wide spaced lines so easy to read. I've uninstalled several Bibles for one reason or another. This one is a keeper.

I completely love the experience without a doubt. I love the fact that there are no unnecessary ads to disturb my reading and it takes me directly to the scripture/verse I want without any hassle. It resumes back from the last verse where I left my reading plan. "It would be great if footnotes where included just as in the physical Bible." I wish it could highlight only what I want, though. I chose to study using the NIV because it's in a language I can easily relate especially when preaching.

I use dark mode / night view in any app, even in the day, because of my light-sensitive eyes. I found it too hard to see the letters in this app's dark mode. It's grey-on-grey, i.e. not contrasty enough. Couldn't use. Also, just a note that there are ads in the free version, contrary to a previous reviewer's comment. But it's only about 5 bucks to remove them.

This is the easy to read Bible. I really like the features, like autosave, the ability to highlight, the ability to change the font size this is really important because I don't see that well. It has so many different settings audio, color of font, background color, it's just a really really good ap and one thing that's really nice is there are no ads. I just really really like it and so will you.

Bible in your purse or pocket. I use mine mainly at bedtime or in poor light conditions and travel. So much easier than struggling with a book. You can highlight words, verses, or passages. You can resize the print. The ads at the bottom can be a bit annoying, but expected these days for free apps. Overall very pleased with what this app offers.
