Redeeming rewards through the app is a scam. The way you have to order through the app makes it impossible to redeem your points for an entree. For example, I tried to redeem my "free" small birthday, and it discounted the price for a small portion, but it still charged me for the meat that already comes with the dish. Not extra meat, the meat that comes with it. The same thing happens with rewards points redemption. It's false advertising and extremely deceptive for no reason.

The app itself works well, 5 stars for that. But, the backend ruins the experience. If you're ordering ahead to pickup, it's perfect. If you're trying to get delivery - don't. After several hours I called to see where my order was. The guy at the store was great and he told me that the app uses Postmates for delivery and the drivers rarely show up to pick up orders. He recommended ordering thru Doordash for delivery. So, Noodles management, pick a new delivery service because this isn't good.

Redeeming the points is hard through the app. My points magically disappeared after I closed the app without ordering. The store manager collected my phone number and email ID and promised that someone would reach out to me. It has been a week and no one from the company has reached out to me yet. The new rewards program is crappy and unfair. A single regular entree redemption requires 1100 points!! The previous rewards program with its spontaneous coupons made it exciting for customers.

UPDATED: I logged in the noodles through desktop version first time and found the redemption was updated which is different than the information on the mobile app. Reward option for order is not alway working, and my points were not updated. Whenever clicking the confirmation button from redemption of the point, there were error messages such as HTTP 400, and the reward points earned from paid orders were not appeared. I was never able to use my points, and the points will be expired soon.

This app has gotten a little better. But, if you do anything to customize a meal with subs it doesn't work for adding up your total. Coupons also can't be entered, the promo codes don't work. Employees are rude and annoyed when I've picked up Web (app) orders. I wish they would invest full on in restaurant technology or just give up. Update: notifications turned off in app but still pushes them, uinstalling.

I opened the app before heading to lunch and was forced into an update. After it loaded, the app didn't recognize my email. Other folks say they were prompted to update their passwords, but I didn't get that -- just a screen to log in or join. I even tried "forgot password" and the app said my email didn't exist (despite my being a member before and getting the emails). The clerk found my account at the store by phone number lookup, but she said a lot of people were having trouble with the app.

It's a very user friendly app compared to others created for food ordering. I reserve 5 stars for really amazing, so it didn't "lose" a star for a problem. One suggestion, a "build your own" bowl option. The customize options are quite flexible, but it would still be nice to start from the noodles up instead of changing a ton of things. Sometimes i miss and end up with mushrooms in my food! Yuck! Lol.

Janky payment system. I select my items, and enter payment info, but it feels like a roll of the dice regarding whether it not the "pay now* button actually appears after entering my credit card. I'm not sure exactly what is going on behind the scenes, but I would expect to actually be able to pay for, and place my orders, since the app requires you to pay before completing your order...

Update 3: the rewards system leaves a lot to be desired. I've lost over a 1000 points and have no idea when they expired. No notice given and the app doesn't provide that information. Another issue is that you earn the points but you can only use predetermined amounts. So if you have 800 points to use you can only pick ONE item from their selection (for example, something worth 350 points). Pretty lame, should be able to use the points any way you want, and all of them at one time if you want.

App fine, install is painful. I used it to place my first order and the experience went smoothly. However, the install was crazy, specifically the calendar for birthdate. I just had to scroll 645 months to get to my birthdate. REALLY? You can't make the current date editable so users can jump straight to the right year, month, and day??!! God helpb those older than me!
