Been using the NPR: National & Local News app for a couple months now. It’s basically a one-stop shop for all your public radio needs – you get the latest news, in-depth stories, and fun little segments all in one place. Pretty solid if you’re into staying on top of current events and discovering new podcasts.
Here’s what you can do: you can listen to a personalized stream on the home screen, which is super convenient. There’s also a dedicated podcasts section where you can find shows from across public radio. And the app will recommend stuff based on what you like – took me a while to figure that out but it’s actually really useful.
Look, if you’re a public radio junkie like me, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of keeping me informed and entertained. Worth checking out for sure.
