This app works with their device only. Problem I had was device stopped working shortly after purchase. Device support told me to try uninstalling the app and re installing. It didn't work. Then there advice was to buy the newer adapter. They aren't cheap so I declined. I liked the interface and options but not worth it if the device is faulty. Would love to give a better review but I can't. Maybe try the newer adapter, you might have better luck than me.

Update has made this app very painful and difficult to use. I'm in IT and followed all thr troubleshooting steps... software issue at this point due to update. It was working just fine before. Disappointing! Can't use this for its purpose 😡 it gets stuck on modules. I've been messing with this for almost 45 minutes now to do a simple scan.

I used to be able to connect seamlessly to the dongle that's plugged into the OBD port it will not connect since the last update. I've done all the appropriate steps including uninstalling and reinstalling the app and forgetting the Bluetooth connection and relearning it nothing seems to work quite frustrating. Update 9/18: I've worked with the help done steps 1 through 7 multiple times. Reinstall the app and restarted my phone more times than I would like to admit,still unable to connect

I lost my original OBDeleven and bought the latest model and was a bit disappointed. I'm not sure if the application itself is just poorly coded for the Pixel 5, which is a shame since it runs the original version of Android, but the application itself is just slow. I dare to say it may be slower than the original OBDeleven unit I had. Connecting to the dongle can also be a PITA and take multiple attempts. Besides those issues, the app is great and delivers on its functions.

DO NOT BUY!! I originally purchased it and this thing would not connect from day one,after a week of slow back and forth messages they told me the device was faulty and gave me a 10% off coupon to buy a new one. I will not waste anymore money buying another one when the first one didn't work. The reason they gave me they did not want to help was because I didn't purchase it directly from their website I got it from a second party seller that is not considered "authorized". What a joke company.

Was a solid product when I got it just a few months ago; apps would let you toggle features on a car for credits that you could earn for free but not anymore. Now you also have to pay to use the tool for which you already paid! Not to mention the credit prices are insane. I understand the cost of ops & manufacturing is going up but it is not excuse to punish those who already paid for it; you are not Netflix that has to have a subscription model; the app technically shouldn't even need internet!

Bought the PRO version last year. I was able to do long coding without purchase of credits, which worked great. Now I can't. Everything is locked behind a paywall and I can't do much of anything with this aside from check and clear codes. Very disappointing. I should have just got VCDS from the beginning.

Bad product, bad app, poor customer support. Look at other reviews; it nevers connects. Was told that mine was bad/faulty bluetooth and their solution was for me to buy another one. I already spent over $100 for the device and "credits". They have since come with an updated device. I have a feeling none of the old ones work/connect anymore after their last "software update". Look elsewhere.

Update: I don't understand. You retroactively changing the contract on those who purchased the app beforehand. That is simply not right. Nothing has been done to address the unfairless of this decision. And the apps interface is incredibly slow. I'm not getting the free daily point for the past few days. I just reinstalled the app and signed in and still nothing.

Since the last update, I'm unable to connect to my Audi unless I start the scan through the regular app and let it take me to the VAG version. Options are easy to navigate but definitely better suited for experts or the experienced. If you don't know what you're already looking at, it's difficult to understand what the option is actually modifying. Would be awesome to have some kind of quick fyi for what the specific adaptation correlates to in layman terms.

Forced use of network to function. Many small transactions required even when you pay to turn on, you will pay again to turn off and again to turn back on. Interface is nice. I wish it didn't bleep the speakers or the system when connecting as it can damage electrical. It is a very loud and high pitch noise/pop. I've tested with 2 units and the result is the same.

My rating was much higher, when I originally bought it. Now I have 948"points", which are pretty much useless. Actually I haven't ever used any of them. Originally purchased to be able to use "PRO ULTIMATE LIFETIME ".... but there's things that it's supposed to be able to do, that they say I need to purchase a "higher plan ".... lol... it does a few usable things but not really what you think you're buying. It doesn't connect as fast as it used to. Sometimes options are unavailable.

Upgrading to the Pro version costs $55 PER YEAR! You can't actually do ANYTHING with the app without it! I was fine with having to buy credits for the one-click apps but now you have to buy a yearly subscription which doesn't even come with any credits. And the free credits are gone. Might as well buy VCDS instead, especially if you're going to be using it to clear codes, because that costs credits, too! What an insanely greedy cash grab!

Great tool for resetting those pesky "Service Due" reminders!! HOWEVER, their latest update (7-1-22) removed the free bonus credit option meaning that in order to get usage credits, your only option is to buy them. More greed from the app industry!! I paid for the dongle, but that's not enough for them. If you actually want to use this tool, you get to pay them AGAIN! SUCKS!!! And, just like everyone else, it takes FOREVER to connect IF it connects at all, and then 2X FOREVER to scan the car.

Paid lots for the hardware plus credits. The settings for my Audi didn't work and had severe consequences. Customer service only would give me enough credits to reverse the changed setting, not to refund/cover the original credits, so I am still out the money paid without any benefit. Was told I would be notified when a fix was available and its been over a year without it. Bad practices, dangerous product. Buyer beware. Edit: I would have to re-re-spend more money to try things again.

Holy micro transactions batman! I bought the pro version that comes with a year membership. That year membership does not include anything other than basic scans. You still need to buy credits. Plus, the software didn't work. I bought this to change my rear brakes and uses the caliper reset function. It failed. Over and over again. Do not waste your money on this product. Get vcds!

I'm about 50/50 on it. it's definitely awesome with what you can customize with 1 click, but after that it's not doing too much. I've got the propack and of course the deals came out right after I purchased the Pro when I could've waited 1 week and got the ultimate for half the price I paid online. Good luck trying understand the payout and how it works. no video shows it period. obd eleven doesn't even offer any. unless you know coding then don't bother.

Been using the app for about 2 years. Driving an older, fickle German it's been wildly helpful as I've had minimal problems with it. Until recently. For the past couple weeks the app won't load if I'm on mobile data - constantly says connection failed, asks to retry, and loops. If I'm on wifi it fires up right away with full functionality. Not the most ideal thing. Would be great to see this resolved. I've tried the ole reboot, uninstall/ reinstall, blah blah blah. Haven't tried to roll back.

Can't recommend. In app purchases for features that should just be included in the app. Half the time, the feature fails and you get charged regardless. Charging to power the DC motor on your electronic parking brakes is ridiculous. This is the whole reason I bought the tool. This would be liking buying a drill that makes you scan your credit card every time you want to use it. response. I requested a refund on 2 transactions and only 1 was refunded. I ended up using a 12v power supply.

This is a waste of time and money. Can you do some customisation? Sure - but for the price of the device PLUS what you will have to pay for "credits" - not worth it, at all. Everything advanced is locked behind the pro version which costs as much as the device, and even basic features I attempted wouldn't work for me (any time I tried to do a chart, the app froze and refused to work)
