This app works with their device only. Problem I had was device stopped working shortly after purchase. Device support told me to try uninstalling the app and re installing. It didn't work. Then there advice was to buy the newer adapter. They aren't cheap so I declined. I liked the interface and options but not worth it if the device is faulty. Would love to give a better review but I can't. Maybe try the newer adapter, you might have better luck than me.

Update has made this app very painful and difficult to use. I'm in IT and followed all thr troubleshooting steps... software issue at this point due to update. It was working just fine before. Disappointing! Can't use this for its purpose 😡 it gets stuck on modules. I've been messing with this for almost 45 minutes now to do a simple scan.

I used to be able to connect seamlessly to the dongle that's plugged into the OBD port it will not connect since the last update. I've done all the appropriate steps including uninstalling and reinstalling the app and forgetting the Bluetooth connection and relearning it nothing seems to work quite frustrating. Update 9/18: I've worked with the help done steps 1 through 7 multiple times. Reinstall the app and restarted my phone more times than I would like to admit,still unable to connect

I lost my original OBDeleven and bought the latest model and was a bit disappointed. I'm not sure if the application itself is just poorly coded for the Pixel 5, which is a shame since it runs the original version of Android, but the application itself is just slow. I dare to say it may be slower than the original OBDeleven unit I had. Connecting to the dongle can also be a PITA and take multiple attempts. Besides those issues, the app is great and delivers on its functions.

DO NOT BUY!! I originally purchased it and this thing would not connect from day one,after a week of slow back and forth messages they told me the device was faulty and gave me a 10% off coupon to buy a new one. I will not waste anymore money buying another one when the first one didn't work. The reason they gave me they did not want to help was because I didn't purchase it directly from their website I got it from a second party seller that is not considered "authorized". What a joke company.

Was a solid product when I got it just a few months ago; apps would let you toggle features on a car for credits that you could earn for free but not anymore. Now you also have to pay to use the tool for which you already paid! Not to mention the credit prices are insane. I understand the cost of ops & manufacturing is going up but it is not excuse to punish those who already paid for it; you are not Netflix that has to have a subscription model; the app technically shouldn't even need internet!

Bought the PRO version last year. I was able to do long coding without purchase of credits, which worked great. Now I can't. Everything is locked behind a paywall and I can't do much of anything with this aside from check and clear codes. Very disappointing. I should have just got VCDS from the beginning.

Bad product, bad app, poor customer support. Look at other reviews; it nevers connects. Was told that mine was bad/faulty bluetooth and their solution was for me to buy another one. I already spent over $100 for the device and "credits". They have since come with an updated device. I have a feeling none of the old ones work/connect anymore after their last "software update". Look elsewhere.

Update: I don't understand. You retroactively changing the contract on those who purchased the app beforehand. That is simply not right. Nothing has been done to address the unfairless of this decision. And the apps interface is incredibly slow. I'm not getting the free daily point for the past few days. I just reinstalled the app and signed in and still nothing.

Since the last update, I'm unable to connect to my Audi unless I start the scan through the regular app and let it take me to the VAG version. Options are easy to navigate but definitely better suited for experts or the experienced. If you don't know what you're already looking at, it's difficult to understand what the option is actually modifying. Would be awesome to have some kind of quick fyi for what the specific adaptation correlates to in layman terms.
