Description
Been using the Oticon Companion app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your hearing aids from your phone. Pretty solid if you wear hearing aids and wanna tweak the settings on the go.
Here’s what you can do – you can adjust the volume for each ear separately, mute the surroundings for better focus, and switch between programs set by your audiologist. It’s got this SpeechBooster feature that’s supposed to reduce background noise too. And you can use it to stream calls, music, and podcasts right to your hearing aids, which is super convenient.
Look, if you wear Oticon hearing aids, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the hearing aid finding feature can be hit or miss, and the app can be a little buggy sometimes. But overall it does the job and makes managing your hearing aids a lot easier.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Oticon Companion. I've tried out a bunch of different hearing aid apps and this one is pretty solid overall. The core features like volume control and program switching work really well and make daily use a lot more convenient. The audio streaming is also a great addition. On the downside, I've found the hearing aid finding feature to be a bit unreliable, and the app can be glitchy at times. But for the most part, it's a really handy tool if you wear Oticon hearing aids.
