Been using PeakFinder for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that shows you the names of mountains and peaks all around the world. Pretty cool if you’re into hiking, climbing, or just exploring new places. And
Here’s what you can do: you can point your phone’s camera at a mountain and it’ll overlay the names and heights of all the peaks you’re looking at. There’s also a 360-degree panorama feature which is pretty neat. And it all works completely offline – no cell service required.
Look, if you’re an outdoor enthusiast who likes to know what you’re looking at, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of PeakFinder. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job and is worth checking out.
