Reviews for PepTalk: Daily Motivation App

← Back to PepTalk: Daily Motivation App

I just purchased the annual plan and the app keeps telling me that I need to restore my subscription.

Great app. Keeps me motivated, gets me going in the morning, and every single day!

Great motivating content on here. However, 10% of each message has a content censor on it, which really distracts from the message. Even after paying $50 for the membership, there is still no option to remove the filter. Disappointing. I contacted support and they said they would get back within 48 hours. That was a week ago, and still no reply. Don't expect to get support even if you're a paying member.

I love this app!! I get goosebumps and emotional in a good way when I listen to the pep talks. Thank you!!!

I was loving it until last min it asked for payment when the whole time I thought it was free smh it's just like all these other false advertising

I love the variety of inspiration in this app! There is something for everyone. I gave it 4 stars because of the annoying music. It is so loud that it can be difficult to hear the speaker. I just hate that. Please make the music much quieter in the background, or make the option to get rid of it all together. I may have to quit using the app because the music is so annoying and distracting.

I listen after every workout when I'm in the sauna, and it gives me the motivation to keep going, keep losing weight, keep getting stronger!

The daily quotes help make my day better. I look forward every day to read them. The app is great and helps me get motivated to do more to better myself instead of doom scrolling all day

I had a very different impression of what the app was based off the ads. The ads make it seem like its more firm and aggressive and directed towards you. when you actually listen its just others talking about their life and there experiences. The ad sells it like its directed to you "where you going big dawg" It also is more aggressive in the ad than the actual app. total waste of my time.

Liking it from the start. The Ai chat option was like texting a friend who gave me a great idea in a very short amount of time. The app has good features to help you get focused and motivated. Sharing it with my friends immediately.

This has been the best money I have spent. I listen to it in the car and at the gym. I sometimes can be my worst enemy and soak in doubt and dwell on what I haven't done and how far I'm not for my age. This app has taught me how to dig deep and pull myself out of self doubt and to know that mistakes are ok. MISTAKES ARE KNOWLEDGE IN DISGUISE!!

Extremely limited choices. Searched the discovery section for 3 different famous motivational speakers I listen to on podcasts and couldn't find anything on any of the 3. There are about a dozen speakers to choose from that I found. Not worth the price.

great stories when it doesn't try to play another track in the background. that you can't close, you pause it and it restarts itself. if you close the app and reload it's back on, with an added benefit of the post you were listening to reset at the beginning.... great concept, need work on user interface and the ability to close a track that you never opened to begin with.... it's like having Spotify up and listening to song a but song b is also playing somewhere in the background of the app....

I use PepT often, BUT I don't think the premium is that good, although at least they provide a trial! The coaches in chat are pretty meh (chat GPT could do better) and there's nothing special about their alarms, aside from being able to choose an audio from their library 😆 so only thing that really makes it better is the extra video access and no ads. I find the free version is enough (you can find free ones on youtube for more anyway). I like the playlists and the daily motivational quote too!

I love the app! It's great, and I listen every morning. My only reason for removing one star is the music. I like the dramatic effect to an extent, but it's so overwhelming. It distracts and takes away from the speaker. I would keep the background music, but maybe offer an option to play without music or adjust the volume of the music.

I just started using this app, and really enjoy the content that I can choose from. Sometimes its not just music that I'm looking for, to keep me going, but with peptalk, not only do I can keep going but I also get challenged and can use chat to help me work out some of my thoughts that may hold me back. I really recommend this to anyone that needs that boost.

Subscription service: It seems like there are a lot of great motivational videos to watch and listen to. Unfortunately you do have to subscribe to listen to them. I was listening to a video on a walk with my dog (about 15mins) and it just stopped playing. It kept asking me to join the elite community to watch more. That is why it is so few stars, nowhere did it say in terms and agreement (maybe I missed it) that this was completely a subscription based service. Other than that, good app.

I downloaded this app strictly for the motivational widgets. The quote one is fine, pops up a quote, changes so often. Good. The audio one does nothing. Can't click on it, listen to it, open the app with it, nothing. Permissions are granted, too. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just not working? I also just paid for the premium version, thinking maybe that would fix the issue after signing up. Nope. Please help, or fix. Also, don't email them, their email doesn't exist.

great idea. It just seems forgotten about. I tried it out and it forced me to sign up for a trial, I didn't use it or cancel in time so it charged me for a year. I canceled so luckily it won't charge me again. It sat for months unused, finally started using it daily but there is no Alex Hormonzi, nothing Tates, lots of reposts of the same speeches in different folders as well as multiple folders that are just empty. Decent concept but feels like the development team just took our money and ran

Downloaded free app. Did not sign up for a subscription (been burned before by others). Great idea, but app needs work. You can't filter to quickly see the free content. Nor is the free content easily identifiable. Clicking on video after video to see what is free or paid got annoying really fast. Also, there's not a way to see what I've already watched. I really wanted to love this app but it falls short. The few videos I did watch were decent but were edited clips of content seen elsewhere.
