Great simulator of all times and I recommend lectures and students to take advantage of this app and explore their knowledge in STEM education. Please kindly update it with more simulations.
Reviews for PhET Simulations
← Back to PhET SimulationsNo physics teacher should be without this app. Worth the tiny donation for the circuit builder alone, let alone the warm fuzzy feeling you get for supporting this extraordinary gift to education.
The app is very good and their website is amazing, but I think an option to change the language is missing.
I purchased this app just now. Some simulation are working fine but I have not been able to play many of the simulations on my phone. What is the reason? What should I do to take the benefits of all the simulations shown in the app. Only first 10 simulations on the list are playing on my phone. Thank you it worked after unstalling and reinstalling the app.
Super nice application. Really helps a lot in my CHEMISTRY Laboratory subject. Easy to use. Thumbs up for the developers. Before I can only access PhEt oñ chrome now that it's free. I can download it on phone ☺️. Super love it 💖
I should have give it a 5 ⭐, fantastjc but the issue is : Sensitivity: the sensivity of the whole process is poor/low Also the whole simulator look compacted , not easily to access material needed
I love this app, it's because i've used this simulator before for my Physics Courses. But it must had used laptop with Java-installed when ran it. But today it's more simpler, with just an Android you can run more simulations in your hand. Thx to Developer..
As a science educator, this app is incredible! I love having the power of all these amazing simulations at my fingertips, even when I am not online. The ability to switch languages is also an incredible feature. Absolutely 5 stars!
App has not all the features that a PC contain... I am using on PC it is totally worth but here on Android you should work on.. to give all features of PC so that everyone can purchase the app.. And app is more convenient than the PC... JUST THINK ABOUT IT...
The website is really helpful and good. However, the app could be improved. It would be great if we could zoom in or have more customization options. Without these features, it doesn't feel worth paying for.
I beg you to add all the adobe flash sims and java sims that we can run on PCs. I understand it must be hard to convert them and write those codes freshly but there has to be a way so that all sims can be run on android. Without all those this apps feels really incomplete. Otherwise, it's just brilliant and user friendly as well. Edit: Thank you for listening to me and i will help to raise the funds for the conversion of flash and java sims to HTML5. I expect others will come forward to support.
I love this app! Having all the Sims downloaded in one place makes it so easy to use and learn. Each sim is a fun way to understand and explore a STEM concept. I have also found it very entertaining and easy for kids to use.
Great app with great support. They believe they found the issue causing constant crashes when starting the app, but until it's released, I discovered that clearing the app's data, not the cache, will fix it, at least temporarily.
The application keeps installing every time i try to access it even after paying. I have not been able to access anything so far. A clone app by the same name however is easily accessible and is for free. The problem is that some of the details inside there are rendered passive. Need help on this.
Phet simulation is very useful. It greatly helps children easily understand concepts. I had purchased its mobile Android version. Recently, the color combinations in the simulation are not appearing correctly, and angles and other measurements are not clearly visible due to this. Could you provide a solution for this?
These are fantastic! PhET has been used in my classes for Earth Science, Chemistry, and even AP Chemistry for years, but app makes this extremely accessible, especially in the virtual setting where this can be a really powerful tool. The digital tools are simple to use, students find their use to be intuitive, and the cognitive load can be spent on the science rather than figuring out the program. Thank you for all you've done to create such a great learning tool!
I have used PhET Sims for many years in my Mathematics classroom with a variety of ages and am so pleased to see all the HTML5 versions and also this latest excellent version of the app. I have so many favourites! For teachers there are very helpful notes and suggestions. These are visually very attractively presented and really help students explore ideas.
I have been fan PhET for a long time, and it is great to see it in app form. As a physicist I can only talk about the physics apps, but these are very good, easy to use and designed in such a way to illustrate the core underlying physics. I can see the potential of this during a time of remote teaching and learning; learners can now access a wealth of physics and develop their understanding. Well done Phet!
I have taught Physics with PhET for years - their simulations make concepts clear. Now students and anyone interested can explore them in a neat app environment - the menus get you to the topic swiftly and everything works as it should. All the old favourites and so much more than I knew about... There's a whole raft of Chemistry resources I hadn't been aware of. The package will capture students' imagination and they'll investigate more topics than they came for!
Amazing concept (I've been using your website for a long time and went here to check out a new app as well), but it needs a bit of polishing. If I click "Info" button in simulation selection and then go back to list, I end up at the top of list. It would have been a nice feature to be able to select simulation language from within application, since going all the way to android settings is an overkill when you just want to see single simulation in another language, which is a somewhat common task for me.
