2 years in and I adore this app. I hate apps that only give you answers, but no work to get to them. If they do, then you have to pay. It incentivizes students to cheat rather than learn. I want to actually learn how to solve the problems, so this app has been such great help in College level Calc 1&2. Only issues is sometimes, the answers are not simplified all the way. Also it's unnecessary to turn every single decimal value into a fraction. It's just makes it harder to follow the steps.

This app has turned into utter rubbish. In order to get help on the answer, you have to pay for a weekly/monthly trial. I understand that the developers need to earn money off of the app somehow, but it has come to the point where it's-pay-to-use. There are some aspects where I understand why there should be trials, like the workbook feature; but using it for the calculation tutorial is over the top. The ads aren't as bad, but still intrude at random without warning.

Great app. I used it to check my homework along with Wolfram alpha. Wolfram alpha is great too but it kept giving me the wrong solution to a differentiation problem. Photomath gave me the correct solution and steps all for the cost of free. I was also impressed with how easy it is to input a problem. I have not had the opportunity to see what else photomath offers but I am happy so far.

Awesome app! It's really great for when I'm doing homework or studying and need help understanding the process. The only issue I ever have is sometimes my camera doesn't focus and I can't take a picture, but if I exit out of the app and go back in that usually fixes the problem. Absolutely recommend!! (It does have a premium version, but the free version works better than fine!)

It is a very well made app! It is really useful for when you dont want to type in the whole equation and just take a picture of it. It helps a lot when I am struggling on a long equation that I dont quite understand. Photo Math gives you an option to look at how the equation is solved, to learn how to do it, or if your teacher needs to see work on the paper. Very wonderful app! 5 stars!

this is a MUST have for any student or teacher, it's so easy to use and has great results. it can give you some pretty complicated answers, give you a step-by-step, and even read handwriting really well! it's rare that I come across an app like this that doesn't push adds on you every 30 seconds and you can tell that it was made with the intention of actually helping people. I'm honestly surprised they don't make you pay money for it because I'd gladly pay 5-10$.

Ok so it may seem like a malicious piece of software made to cheat homework... But I have used it a few times to walk me through problems that troubled me or things the teacher had not taught yet. I know it is used to cheat homework and I have seen people use it in this way, but this provides a thorough explanation to each problem that goes in my way. It has a very impressive text reader and can somehow read my [awful] handwriting. When it does mess up though, you can always correct it, too.

I'm an adjunct instructor in a community college. I teach courses in electronics, automation, and industrial engineering. So, yeah, a bit of math involved. A student brought Photomath to my attention several years ago. I was a little skeptical of how well it would be able to recognize various equations, etc., especially handwritten problems. So I installed the app and gave it a try. I was immediately impressed by the optical OCR and the way solutions were presented. It's outstanding.

Its really good but there needs to be a feature that it can read words and i also need to pay to know most of the stuff when its explaining how to do it. So I can't understand the exact process on how to do an equation. But its really good if you get Photomath plus it will explain everything. But I guess its normal that its paid since the app is free. This is a great app for cheating and learning.

Love this app so much! I get so much homework and this makes it go by a lot quicker! Unlike other apps similar to this, it gives you the step by step solution. And because my professor requires showing your work, it helps a lot. I also love how it has no ads! This is very uncommon and I love this aspect. Now my one problem, the camera. The camera is really bad, and you have to take a couple pictures before hand for it to focus. I would give this five stars, but the camera drops it down a star.
