After seeing an ad I tried to give this app another go. However after using it to scan plants that I needed advice on and telling me it's healthy when in fact it's not has made me give it 3 stars and uninstall. *edit drop it to 2 stars. I paid for the app and it was said the help was included. If you want a person to help you have to pay $20 extra.

I would get my money back if I could, but I did the lifetime thing. This app doesn't work at all without signal. You don't go out looking at flowers in these mountains expecting to have signal. You should be able to scan as many as you want to, and finish the ID when you can get signal of some kind. The idea is strong, the working of it is useless.

This app charges multiple random amounts per day. None of these charges were included in the T&C's when I signed up. The app & instructions in replies to these negative reviews say to go to your account payments, and in Subscriptions remove your subscription to this app. However, this app is not listed in my account. They attempted a charge again today, without an active subscription. In addition to this review I plan to file a formal complaint. I encourage everyone to do the same. Shut it down!

Yet another scam! I signed up for the lifetime subscription and was charged $45.99. I have since been charged $7.99 per week even though it was listed as "lifetime subscription. I have reached out via email to their support and got a generic "we are looking into your ticket" message twice now. I have yet to receive an actual response from a person and its been 4 weeks now. I am attempting to get a refund through the google play store, but this is pathetic! STAY AWAY!

I really like this app! All the features are very useful and I have fun learning about my plants. However, the features are limited when using the free version. My only complaint is that we can only add 3 plants to our profile without paying for premium. If we could add even a few more, like five plants, my review would be 5 stars. Other than that, this is a nice app! I do feel the subscription is a bit pricey, too, but the app does have a lot to offer!

I am still getting charged for this app after cancelling it. it's ridiculous! It was and is definitely cancelled and I am still getting charged. I did reach out to you with no reply. my subscription was canceled the day after I signed up for it and I am still being charged. I had to stop payment through my bank. and once again, I have emailed only for it to go unanswered. After reading other reviews quite a bit other people have been having the exact issue. Stop scamming people!

I wish I had read other reviews before I purchased. I thought I was buying an annual subscription but have been charged monthly for 2 months. To make matters worse the app isn't showing up on my list of subscriptions so I'm having difficulty canceling. It's in the top six grossing because you can't cancel it. Basically I've paid over the $45.99 lifetime fee but won't have access once I find a way to cancel. Do not subscribe!!

I was worried when I wanted to cancel subscription and saw all of the reviews saying it was practically impossible. I chose the $45 lifetime; since that's a one time purchase it doesn't show up on subscriptions. I found an unsubscribe option in the email they sent when I subscribed to the trial offer. That worked. Posting this to hopefully help others.

I signed up for 3-day free trial May 2 and cancelled May 4 after seeing a $9.99 charge to my credit card. The money is supposed to be returned to my acct if cancelled before the 3-day trial (which it was) but I've seen no credit yet. RESPONSE: I cancelled before the deadline and I was still charged. I've been given no justification as to why. This is dishonest business. You're stealing from people.

Beware.. it's too easy to accidentally sign up for their 3 day free trial. you have to cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the 3 days in order to not be charged, so only 48 hours.. In the terms and conditions it says where to go to cancel, but when you go to the page the info is not there. I sent them a message asking how to cancel.. Wanna bet they don't respond within the cancellation period?

I have several very obviously hurting plants all of which were "Diagnosed" as perfectly healthy. All guidelines for photos followed, yet over multiple tries, my plants were still being labeled as healthy. Was supposed to have a free trial, but was immediately charged. Trying to cancel my subscription, request a refund less than an hour after downloading, I had to fight tooth and nail to get my subscription canceled, which I'm not even sure has happened. Zero response from customer service. Scam!

SCAM. They brag about transparency of pricing and billing but if you sign up via Google, you're locked - no free trial. It may well be a useful app but I resent being mislead. Moreover, if you try to cancel immediately (using the link in their T&C) you can't. Don't fall prey to the nonsense. UPDATE I heard from support. They could not (have not) told me how much I will be charged and added that they are unable to refund the money. BE VERY CAUTIOUS!

This is very deceiving and misleading. The subscription offer was $49.99 per year, or $17.99 per month. They started charging me the $49.99 per month. I see they're offering $17.99 per month. The cancel button does not work in the app, making it impossible to cancel. Please cancel my subscription and refund the last charge that was just done this morning, and the one for previous month (was unable to cancel) as soon as possible. This is ridiculous...

Don't sign up for a trail as it is not free, I signed up to try on some dying plants, and my lawn with brown spots but their app told me they were healthy when they are not and cancelled the account within 24 hours and found my account was charged $9.99 and they don't want to refund as it was a trail but they state it a charge to set up for the trail. They are a rip off and I would not recommend anyone downloading them.

I could care less about the subscription. it just doesn't work. tried 3 times from different angles to identify a plant and it kept giving the wrong results. that's why it got one star, should be ZERO! trying to identify a plant and it keeps telling me it is something it is not based on the pictures given. the picture taken and the response picture are not even close to being the same plant. unsubscribed and uninstalled. garbage app!

Can't cancel subscription. I thought the subscription price was $50.00 a year, not per month like I am being billed. Tried to cancel my subscription, but said I needed to do it through my Google Play Store. Went there, and it showed I do not have a subscription to PlantIn. So, looks like I have to cancel my credit card to stop this insane charge.

they attempted to charge my account multiple times a day. and before I could figure out how to cancel the subscription I was already too late and got charged $8.93 exactly two minutes into adding funds to my account. I was hoping to get a refund because I can't afford that service. but I havent found any way to contact them to place that request. be careful which apps you try out.

First of all, it's not cool that your app had me subscribe to the trial or all time, just to view it. Because your ad for the app states that if something is wrong with my plant, it will tell me sprinkle with pepper, add lemon, etc.. I figured it would be worth it. But to my surprise, as most apps these days, I have been misled. Pay extra for advice & you said my dead plant of 2 days was healthy.

it has only been 3 days for my free trial, i was charged 9.99 and now they attempted to take out 49.99. But I read in the terms that the 9.99, even after canceling was good to use the app for the 30 days. i have requested a refund because, I canceled my free trial, and have heard nothing back. Very disappointed because I was looking forward to having success with this app.

This app has been great so far and I'm sure it will continue to be useful as I work on building out my garden. I took off a star because the weekly price tag is hefty and if you pay for the lifetime subscription make sure you cancel your weekly subscription or you'll keep getting charged; your account isn't upgraded it's like 2 separate transactions. Thankfully I caught it early because customer service's response was basically 'that's on you, no refunds'.
