Reviews for Playlist Transfer for My Music

← Back to Playlist Transfer for My Music

This app is a SCAM. Look at my edit history for details. Then look at all the one star reviews to see the devs' generic copy-pasted reply. Impossible to get a refund too. Honestly disappointed that this is allowed on the app store. Save yourself the headache and just use one of the free web-based transfer services instead.

I keep trying to link my YouTube account to transfer my music from Spotify, but the app doesn't make the connection; it appeared to work one time, but when I tried to transfer one playlist, it only created an empty one with the same name

This app does not work. It wouldn't connect to YouTube Music, and tried to charge me for two subscriptions, one monthly and one annual. Stay away.

Expensive and doesn't really work, I downloaded this exclusively to transfer my plaulists and liked songs from Spotify to YouTube Music as I plan to quit Spotify. The app seems quite expensive, 7.99 a week for what it does. And that's if it does work for you. I setup the connections for my Spotify and Google accounts and tried to transfer my relatively small amount of liked songs (338). It failed to transfer all 338 of them.

only copied Playlist. grabbed no artwork or tracks. also the app sits in "please wait" and I have to keep opening and closing the app to get it to work. I want a refund.

I gave it 5 stars to make it better. You took the money during the trial period and I canceled the membership. But you didn't refund the money. I wanted to transfer music from Spotify to YouTube, but it didn't work. I wanted to transfer music from Spotify to YouTube, but it didn't work. The application does not work at all. I want my money back urgently!!!

It's very slow transferring and has limited platforms that you can transfer to and from. I found another service that was cheaper, faster and supported more platforms.

SCAM!!!!! the other reviews about the transferring from Spotify to YouTube is TRUE!!! I even tried using another yt account to see if that would work and it didn't. all of this after I had already paid $8 then I had to go online and use a FREE service to transfer in the end I spent $8 for absolutely nothing. this is a total scam! im fuming and i want my money back.

very disappointed. i saw this app on the ads and seems legit but it never been told that it need to be paid first before you see the songs in your top list, so the moment i opened the app it popped up the ads asking for subscribe the premium. what you mean premium? it literally just to see your music that you've been listen in month. if i subscribe and saw my wrapped and what will happen next? im just wasting money

This app is good, unfortunately it's not really great, it doesn't show all my playlists from my Spotify and it's made a few mistakes with the songs on my likes as well, however seeing as I have a ton of saved songs and a lot of playlists this was expected as finding the same song isn't going to be a easy task for any system, hopefully in the future it will improve

scam. doesn't work and should be pulled from the store. I see you responded to the review and are aware that it doesn't work. I don't see you offer me a refund, if you were truly concerned , that's something you would do. I didn't pay for a product that may work in the future. it does nothing other than cost money. Avoid this app unless you want to waste money on junk that is 100% useless. this app should not be allowed to continue to be sold in play store.

Made the switch to Apple from Spotify and I was a little worried due to the sheer number of songs in my library. Though I did have to pay, the transfer was extremely easy and quick! Thousands of songs transfered in no more than 20 minutes. I did have to check the songs on my playlists, as a few got added incorrectly but overall a very seamless transfer. 10/10.

not a great app price-wise. how do you think its okay to charge $30 a month for this? $7 a week? seriously? the fact we have to uninstall and reinstall and reconnect our accounts just to get a few playlists onto another platform is ridiculous. maybe if it were $15 - $20 a month at MAX itd be better, but $30 is just insane. i wish i could say the app itself is bad, but its not. it works flawlessly. oh well, i guess i'll just keep uninstalling and reinstalling until i dont need this app anymore.

Incredibly poor connection when trying to log into YouTube music. Too many failed attempts with no notifications showing up when I used the sign in via Google method. What's more, I have to uninstall and reinstall every time I want to transfer more than one single playlist. Free version shouldn't have that issue. It does work, but very annoying to work around.

DONT PAY 20! READ BELOW!! You can only transfer one playlist for free before they push you to pay 20 for a yearly subscription.UPDATE:I tried other apps that worked worse and still weren't free so came back. This time they pushed me 15 for a monthly subscription. Checked t&c, lowest price shown was 8. Subscription options aren't listed, you can only accept what they push to you. Uninstall/install on 3rd try they will give weekly for 8, this is the cheapest option and all I needed to switch apps.

Gets the job done for the most part, gets like 90% of the songs right when transferring. Though I'd bump that number down to 70% if you're a stickler for the right album art. It often grabs the song from the single, a greatest hits album, or movie soundtrack rather from the actual album the song is from. Sounds exactly the same but is a nightmare for those who are obsessive with organizing their playlists. Occasionally will also just grab the outright wrong version of a song.

If the music source you're transferring to doesn't have rights to the artist in your playlist, they give you cover bands. For instance, Spotify and Garth Brooks don't, so when I transferred my Garth playlist, which had the entire collection, ALL of the songs were by sound alikes except for like 3 songs that he did with Chris Ladeaux and Trisha Yearwood. it sucked. That was the point of transferring, so I could have my music in one spot. Disappointing.

Apparently it costs $8 a week to use a transfer service you'd likely only need a couple times. This isn't stated in the info, only that there are in app purchases, I read other reviews saying they could transfer one playlist then nothing else but I couldn't get it to do anything besides log in and tell me to pay for the service. Gonna try and scrub it from my phone now.

do not recommend at all. First of all 10$ a week is extremely expensive just to transfer songs, which is something you do once in a while. Second, my playlist has 802 songs, and going throughout the whole process, it added only 443. Third, when matching the songs it searches the names and not the artists, hence why if you were to try this out yourself, you'd see a bunch of random songs with the same name transferred into your playlist. extremely disappointing.

If I could rate 0 stars I would because every time I keep trying to connect it to YouTube so I can transfer my playlists to Spotify, it just doesn't connect I have tried around 5 times and it just doesn't work, and apparently you gotta pay to do that and that is so unnecessary. You also have to pay to see your top artists and songs. It is 7.99 a week just for these basic services and it isn't worth it.
