Seems great and there's a decent amount of free content, plus desktop client on the way. However, I don't care for the subscription model being the only option. I'd prefer all access subscription OR pay per pack / setting. Some campaigns don't meet often enough for monthly to make sense.. Also I don't like that they don't even show you the pricing unless you sign up for an account first and give them your email..

It's honestly one of the cleanest/easiest sound boards I've ever used, and that's why it's my go-to option. Great music and app layout. My only real criticisms is that the one-off sounds are missing key things that I'm looking for (swords clashing, arrow shots, magic sounds, assorted animal/monster sounds) and the subscription model. I'd gladly buy fairly priced sound packs as opposed to pay for a sub to sounds I know I won't use (Sci-fi sounds for example).

This app is super easy to use and works as intended. The "intensity" slider for the music, vs just a volume slider, is a nice addition as it adds more dramatic instruments to the score to build some tension. Same with the battle music. My only complaint right now is the lack of variety in the "one-shot" sounds. There's a wolf howl, a bell, a splash, and a few others for a total of 7. Love to see some creature one-shots added. Roars, battlecrys, footsteps, etc.

I just downloaded this today and used it for game tonight. It was super quick and easy to use. I havent used many sound apps/services so far but the ones I have have long load times or take a few extra steps to navigate. The switch between setting and music is almost seemless. This is the new favorite. I've not yet been able to create an account and I keep getting an error message. But the basics pack is more than enough to run a session

This is an absolutely fantastic addition to any TTRPG. The music is great, and most of the changes are seamless (intensity slider), the only break you'll hear is when you change from exploration to combat settings. My only complaint is the sub. If this were a one-time payment I'd purchase it in a heartbeat. But with sessions only happening once a month its hard to justify the $7 monthly sub cost. Even so - the free options are great on their own!

Great concept and music, although I tend to forget about many of the things going on when I'm running a session. However, it seems to be a massive battery drain on my phone or even my Chromebook when I run it as an app there. Not sure why that's happening but I'm hesitant to use it more or pay a sub until that's resolved. Edit: seems like my laptop version issue may be from the emulator, and closing the app out on my phone takes care of much of the issues. Hope to see more improvement here!

Awesome for DM/GMs who want easy, flexible background music! I'm not good at music & don't want to waste time prepping playlists. Easily adjust the music to suit the scene. I can't wait to try it in my next game! Some feedback: When you first open the app, it looks empty & broken. You have to download a content pack on the 2nd tab first. A welcome screen or tutorial would help. There's also no pause button and you have to force quit the app to make it stop playing. More one-shot sounds please!

The app is awesome, the pricing structures are not. I'm a more than casual gamer, but don't play often enough to warrant a subscription service. WHY IN THE WORLD is there no straight purchase option? I'd gladly pay 5-20$ for some of the packs, but there is no way I'm going to subacribe. Or, if I do, I would subscribe for the one day I need the app and immediately cancel afterwards. Isn't the smarter choice to enable both higher one time and subscribe options?

This app is AMAZING! I absolutely love using it when I DM my campaign, and my party members love it, too. You get a decent amount from the free version, but I recommend getting the premium cause it unlocks a lot more. Plus, you'll get instant access to anything new that they add. The price is very reasonable at $7 a month or you could just pay $50 annually (for those who struggle at math, that's about a 40% discount when you pay for the year instead of monthly). I use this for long time :)

Pretty cool app and does what it claims but not without a few hitches here and there. Offers a decent amount of free content, the rest is locked behind a subscription, I assume it's a subscription as opposed to a flat fee because they intend to update and add more content for subscribers but at the moment there is just not enough content to justify the monthly subscription just yet. As more content is added the value of the subscription will become more clear and I will update my review.

My absolute favorite DM tool! I use a lot of props in my game that require setup, sorting, storage, and maintenance. I love my minis and terrain, but this app adds so much to the atmosphere with so little effort. I wish I could pay a one time fee to support them, since I can't afford the subscription. Still, the free version is amazing

This is by far one of the best sound apps I have ever found, the settings are perfect, the sounds seem as if they're coming straight from a movie, it's brilliant, great job guys, keep up the phenomenal work, maybe you guys can think about adding an apocalypse sound pack*wink wink* just sayin, otherwise, phenomenal app 5 out of 5 without a doubt in the world

The little bit I've tried has been very impressive. Perfect and high quality ambience that can play simultaneously with Spotify or your music of choice. Fantastic quality in the free version, and definitely will consider subscribing. I would probably be more keen to purchase a pack instead of subscribing, though. Only suggestion is more/customizable one shot noises! To not clutter it, maybe you can select up to 6 or 9 from a library of options? Could buy more or subscribe for more.

I don't normally leave a review, but this app has impressed me enough that I feel like I must. Even with just the free stuff, you are given plenty of music options, which all sound absolutely incredible! I also love how it seamlessly flows into the next song. I would totally recommend this app to anyone who wishes to do a little DJing on the side of their DMing/GMing!

this is definitely great. i haven't used it in a game yet, but i can already tell it's going to be a much better experience when i do. my one complaint is that the spell one-shot is kind of bland and un-epic (if that wasn't a word before, it is now). i personally would recommend having a one-shot for each major damage type (fire, cold, thunder, etc.) and healing. so overall, 10/10, maybe add a few more one-shots for spells.

I love this app so much. It is great for study music and just vibes, even if you don't play TTRPGs. It doesn't stop playing if your screen turns off or if you open another app. Most of the scenes are pure instrumental music, but the new Tavern scene has a togglable vocalist. I just wish that the names of the songs (and maybe even the lyrics) were shown. The UI is simple and easy to learn. I do want the ability to favorite some of the scenes, but that might be possible already somehow.

good app won't let me update App says no valid path for download when I try to update tracks in the app. It's good even for free users but may need to be used with other tools unless you're going for the membership. I wish there was a way to sample the "open worlds" membership content even if it's for a limited time. I get that it can be difficult to implement without the chance for some users to take advantage.

absolutely awesome, my party loved it. Only criticism I have is that the one-shot sounds are really understated and don't always "pop" and get lost in the music, even when I adjust the volume. I use sounds a lot so it would be great to have them be loud and attention grabbing. Otherwise awesome app! Update: it appears to crash every time I open it on Google pixel 8a

UI is very intuitive. I enjoy being able to customize the scenes, so I can have the sound I want on the scene I want. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is it's subscription based. I don't DM very often, so paying a monthly bill would be wasteful for me...but I'd be willing to purchase individual downloads. I'd just want some way to sample the download first to see if it matches what I need. If you go to that model, I'd happily drop some money to support the app. Great job overall though!

I very much love this app. It's made my dnd sessions much more immersive. I've had no issues with the interface at all, and it's very intuitive. There's a decent variety of free options and you don't need the subscription for sure. However, I would like to echo some other reviews and request ala carte purchases. I would love to purchase certain ones to keep permanently. Or even a one time payment for all the current scenes.
