Reviews for Procare: Childcare App

End-user support is non-existent. It kicked me out the other day, and suddenly, my login information no longer works. They say they have no record of the very email they send updates and daily summaries to. The one email they recognize has no children attached to it. If daycare wasn't impossible to find anymore, I'd go to a daycare that didn't insist on using this worthless app. The devs response just shows they didn't take the time to assess the problem or read my review. Bad service.

SUCH A HELP!! Makes checking up on my little one throughout the work day a total breeze. Haven't had any hang ups or glitches with the app since I've been on it (about 5 months.) Eady to make payments online as well as sign my kiddo in and out. Get constant updates on what he's eating, when he sleeps, diaper changes, you name it. It's all here in an easy to use format. Definitely recommend.

Generally, the app works. My main annoyance is that if the app is open, it sends me a freaking audible alert every time any one of my children pees, poops, eats something, goes to nap, etc. They are in daycare because I am working, not monitoring pee real time. There is no way to limit alerts to things that matter: like bring more diapers. I'd be totally fine with the email summary but it completely skips over the messages from staff, group or private. Odd prioritizing.

As long as the school uses it, it's amazing. I love getting notifications about what my little is doing and where my little is at. The notifications even include pictures so I get to see my baby when I normally wouldn't be able to. They can send you reminders and notes about your childs progess, activities, events and even moods. Overall, 10/10, would recommend.

Love love love this app! Toddler mom here, and it's really nice to be able to see what the little one is up to throughout the day. One star knocked off due to a recent (and seemingly ongoing issue) where the photos are not showing up with the posts. I can see them on the desktop version, but they rarely are coming through on the app. If they could fix this one little thing, it's an easy 5 stars.

Overall good app, my parents enjoy seeing the care their child receives throughout the day and we enjoy the new messaging setup. However, I struggle with the connection on this app. Takes way to long to load most of the time, every now and then I can quickly add to a child's day. Recently, the app has shut itself down and let me know there was an error which means whatever I was posting did not post. If I took pictures with the app and their was an error my pictures are now gone.

Great overall. It did confuse the daycare facility when I paid in advance and it showed my balance as -$. It normally would show what you *owe as a simple amount without a positive or negative beside it. They called saying they needed payment ASAP and I had to prove to them that the negative balance meant I had paid in advance. Other than that, I would love the option to give the app it's own notification sound so if my daycare posts anything, it stands out more.

I have been using this app to communicate with families (I own an in home daycare) for a year. I recently upgraded to a paid subscription to use their payment processing, however after a number of disingenuous messages and flat out false advertising I have learned this is not a company you should trust with your or your clients money. Edit: despite admitting it's misleading ("they're hoping to get it changed soon") they are refusing me a refund.

I don't understand how parents like this app so much, it's so convoluted to send info back and forth. The main "feed" doesn't show if something is posted just to you or to all parents, then there's no way to reply directly to those posts. The only option is to send a message that goes to the whole staff (tho that might be a setting our place uses) so the teachers/admin that didn't post in the feed are confused. The worst - messaging only shows most recent message so you can't refer back, why?!

It was a great app. Lately, many of the photos seem to be getting deleted the same day that they are uploaded. It was nice to get to see your child throughout the day having fun and get to share those photos with family and friends. I spoke with the daycare about this and was told that they do not know how the photos are being removed, but they reached out to Procare support and were told that Procare cannot tell them why or how the photos keep disappearing. The app needs to fix this bug ASAP.
