Reviews for Procare: Childcare App

End-user support is non-existent. It kicked me out the other day, and suddenly, my login information no longer works. They say they have no record of the very email they send updates and daily summaries to. The one email they recognize has no children attached to it. If daycare wasn't impossible to find anymore, I'd go to a daycare that didn't insist on using this worthless app. The devs response just shows they didn't take the time to assess the problem or read my review. Bad service.

SUCH A HELP!! Makes checking up on my little one throughout the work day a total breeze. Haven't had any hang ups or glitches with the app since I've been on it (about 5 months.) Eady to make payments online as well as sign my kiddo in and out. Get constant updates on what he's eating, when he sleeps, diaper changes, you name it. It's all here in an easy to use format. Definitely recommend.

Generally, the app works. My main annoyance is that if the app is open, it sends me a freaking audible alert every time any one of my children pees, poops, eats something, goes to nap, etc. They are in daycare because I am working, not monitoring pee real time. There is no way to limit alerts to things that matter: like bring more diapers. I'd be totally fine with the email summary but it completely skips over the messages from staff, group or private. Odd prioritizing.

As long as the school uses it, it's amazing. I love getting notifications about what my little is doing and where my little is at. The notifications even include pictures so I get to see my baby when I normally wouldn't be able to. They can send you reminders and notes about your childs progess, activities, events and even moods. Overall, 10/10, would recommend.

Love love love this app! Toddler mom here, and it's really nice to be able to see what the little one is up to throughout the day. One star knocked off due to a recent (and seemingly ongoing issue) where the photos are not showing up with the posts. I can see them on the desktop version, but they rarely are coming through on the app. If they could fix this one little thing, it's an easy 5 stars.

Overall good app, my parents enjoy seeing the care their child receives throughout the day and we enjoy the new messaging setup. However, I struggle with the connection on this app. Takes way to long to load most of the time, every now and then I can quickly add to a child's day. Recently, the app has shut itself down and let me know there was an error which means whatever I was posting did not post. If I took pictures with the app and their was an error my pictures are now gone.

Great overall. It did confuse the daycare facility when I paid in advance and it showed my balance as -$. It normally would show what you *owe as a simple amount without a positive or negative beside it. They called saying they needed payment ASAP and I had to prove to them that the negative balance meant I had paid in advance. Other than that, I would love the option to give the app it's own notification sound so if my daycare posts anything, it stands out more.

I have been using this app to communicate with families (I own an in home daycare) for a year. I recently upgraded to a paid subscription to use their payment processing, however after a number of disingenuous messages and flat out false advertising I have learned this is not a company you should trust with your or your clients money. Edit: despite admitting it's misleading ("they're hoping to get it changed soon") they are refusing me a refund.

I don't understand how parents like this app so much, it's so convoluted to send info back and forth. The main "feed" doesn't show if something is posted just to you or to all parents, then there's no way to reply directly to those posts. The only option is to send a message that goes to the whole staff (tho that might be a setting our place uses) so the teachers/admin that didn't post in the feed are confused. The worst - messaging only shows most recent message so you can't refer back, why?!

It was a great app. Lately, many of the photos seem to be getting deleted the same day that they are uploaded. It was nice to get to see your child throughout the day having fun and get to share those photos with family and friends. I spoke with the daycare about this and was told that they do not know how the photos are being removed, but they reached out to Procare support and were told that Procare cannot tell them why or how the photos keep disappearing. The app needs to fix this bug ASAP.

I love the fact that I can keep up with my child throughout the day. I just wish you could add or eemove/save photos. What a missed opportunity, otherwise.. I'd give the app 5 start! I'd love to see more with the pictures aspect of the app... I also wish I could change profile pictures and I believe they should allow the parents and emergency contacts pictures as well, for safety!

My gripe is the lack of notifications. When specific events occur in the timeline or schedules. Just give me tick boxes for the types of content I want notifications for, like most other apps do. I want to select the kinds of notifications I want to get. Then, I would argue that this is pretty much the perfect solution. Pretty good app, as usual, the company paying for the service doesn't use all the features, but what they have used Procare is pretty good.

I wish my daycare used this for more than payment processing and last minute closing notices. However, since this is all they use it well we afor currently, I'm quite versed in the payment processing and do wish there was an area where I could note what my payment was for. This feature would be real helpful when I'm paying for pictures, supply fees, registration fees, and gymnastics on top of my regular weekly rates

Worked great until recently when app stopped working. It would force close prior to logging in. After several attempts to uninstall and reinstall, I was finally able to open the app. Now I can only see the current day. If I scroll down to any prior entries, the app either force closes or logs me out. Daycare center told me to contact Procare and Procare said they won't help without daycare verification. I don't have time for the back and forth, so I am currently using the web based login.

I really enjoy Procare, but I am having trouble with the app over the past month. The web version works fine, but when I use the same information to login via the app, I only see my child's old school. I can't figure out how to address this, as Procare won't respond to parent questions. I have tried reaching out to both schools, who confirm everything is set up right from their ends. I am hopeful that maybe an upcoming app update will fix this issue for me.

This app is incredibly frustrating for lots of reasons. Today, for example. I opened the app and got a long pop up message that I'm not using the most updated version. Went to the app on my phone- no way to update it from the Playstore. I searched to see if another version shows up. Nope. Everything about this app is jumping through a lot of unnecessary hoops. Inefficient is the way I would describe the web-based version and family communications app.

I had used this app before with no issues with a previous childcare provider. After signing up with our new childcare provider, I am unable to log in to the app, same as another reviewer mentioned. As soon as I log in, it bounces me right back to the home page where you select staff or parent. I've updated my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times with no solution. I am able to log in on my browser with no issues.

I set up an account, which seemed to work fine. Then the extracurricular activity attempted to invite me so I can track my child there after school, and pay invoices. The problem is that I am unable to add them as a "New School", even though it's the exact thing Im told to do. No support anywhere. This is basic stuff. APP IS TRASH.

will not send notifications to my new phone. i updated everything, verified that all notifications are enabled and battery optimization is off. i was receiving notifications up to a week ago and then it just stopped. Noone is able to fix this. it's very frustrating not being able to get notifications While my child is in daycare due to the app not working.

Started out great, loved that I got notifications and pictures and messages. But for the last couple of days, messages go missing or I'll get a notification about a message but it's not in the app at all. Not sure what's going on and if this is normal but it's frustrating to go into the app and see some of the messages missing from just an hour ago.
