A lot of ads. Rather glitchy. I just started using it and I already don't like it. On some phones you get a pre-installed radio app - no wifi or data is needed, at all, to use those pre-installed apps! They are basic & seem to work rather well; especially since your headphones are your antenna! If you have a phone that doesn't have one pre-installed, then, you have to dl it and they always, constantly, require internet access. That's BS! All I want to do is listen to the radio!

I've been using the Tune-In app for years,and have never found another app to beat it until now. This app is simply "just better", all around. The adds are not long, and most of the time it just lets me skip them while browsing. Navigation is easy. The layout is clean and smooth. All my channels are clear and I have no buffering. And it doesn't eat up my data space. I'm a loyal user now. Awesome App!!

This used to be a pretty good radio app. Over the last couple years the developer(s) have added more and more ads. The advertising is very intrusive and makes the app too frustrating to use. They claim that they appreciate the feedback and will work to make it better but the ads have not subsided. Also, I've found that most of the stations that are available on this app can also be accessed through my Chrome/Firefox browser. I have lost hope with this app and I'll be moving on.

The ads are infuriating. I know free apps are gonna have ads, but these video ads pop up when you press play, you have to wait for the close button to show up, close the ad, press play, and the video pops up again. Sometimes a third time. And now they're advertising Scientology. That's the last straw. That's morally reprehensible and I will not give it my clicks. I deleted the app and ordered a radio.

Like other radio apps before this one. These guys are starting to get greedy and add more and more ads with longer run times. Open app, and watch an ad. Select your radio station, watch an ad. Recently, after the ads play it will now open up your market app and ask if you want to install. I finally had to uninstall as there is no lack of other radio apps with less nonsense.

This is an excellent app! So much better than iHeartRadio. This app has all kinds of genres of music and talk from radio stations all around the world! Some of the stations have ads while others don't. There's a local station that doesn't come in well on my radio. But through Radio FM, I can get that particular local station. My local market no longer offers any smooth jazz stations. But this app has many,many smooth jazz stations from around the world! I love this app! Keep up the good work!

When I first got this app,I loved it,I even gave it a good reveiw & 5⭐, but after a few weeks, the ads were constant,then it would just STOP. I'd press play & it wouldn't load. I'd change the stations & the same thing happened. Timed it a few times & for 2hrs had nothing. I found another FM Radio app & after having it for 3 wks, it's great,hardly ANY ads! When u change the channels you're not waiting 5 mins until the ads are over,or having to back out & close app, just to get the channel!

I like this app. Going on a few days now. I do wish we could type in the number channel we're looking for. Besides that, great radio app. Update - been a few months & this is my go to. Especially while I'm cleaning or showering. Picks up all stations, even my favorite locals... Radio stations have adds & commercials, duh. So please don't punish this app for that. Some of these young people have no idea what a radio station is. 😂

Always liked this app, (so two stars instead of one), but between the Temu ads and the Facebook ads, I no longer find it usable. I have to restart my phone when the Facebook ad comes up because it dumps me in Google Play and I can't get back to the player. There are lots of FM players now. They all have ads, but maybe I can find one a little less aggressive.

This used to work great, but... with recent updates and more crazy as s ads, obviously, that's their motif. I'd pay for it, if offered, if it worked, but at present, it won't even play. Nada! All my other apps work. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it and end up with the same ole' crapolla. No music, just relentless ads to nowhere and zero music! Could be my phone??? Idunno

****UPDATE I have loved this app for 7 years and have been holding off on the update because there is ALWAYS something that goes wrong. The second i hit the update button i knew there would be issues and there are! Love this app, it has tons of awesome stations! I plug my phone to my Sony speakers and listen to it ALL DAY at work. And it's nothing like regular radio where you hear the same song over and over and over and over again! You hear a variety of great songs all day long.

I used to live in a little town that had a college-run alternative radio station, and I've been missing it terribly. Trying to listen online, the music would stop whenever my phone screen went off, so I tried downloading a bunch of radio apps instead, but couldn't even find the station on them - until this one! The station's here, loud and clear, and the app's super easy to use. I'd be more than willing to buy if there was a pay version, just because I'm now overjoyed to be able to listen again!

The Radio FM app is always a great idea to use especially if you are not near a Radio for example in the car where it is used most frequently. With the app I can listen to local stations anytime of the day and in any location with the rest of the world tuned out for a while I can tune into a good mood 😀 the only requirement that you have a pair of wired headphones specifically because they are the antenna to aquire reception. Ear buds do not connect as easily so I would not recommend.

I have been enjoying this app very much. I connect to my fave NJ college station that I no longer receive since moving. Choosing a station is easy. Make it a Favorite and choose from your list. Simple and easy with additional options. Thank you devs for great choices that are heard around the world. With internet this is great to listen to a local station, not Satellite. Beware, when changing stations, an ad pops up. Not annoying to me because it only happens when changing stations.

This app used to be pretty good for listening to radio stations (which is why it's getting 2 stars instead of 1), but lately its ad to music ratio has gotten very high. For example, I use it to listen to music while I exercise. This morning, the last SIX MINUTES of my workout were solid ads. I don't mind the odd ad between every couple of songs, but not for six straight minutes. I'm removing this app and finding something else for my music listening.

So far so good, as long you dont cut the songs off to play the ads i will be happy. i understand this is a free version and other apps play the ads in the middle of the songs, thats not cool so, i delete them and will never buy it or give them 5 stars... thank you. No, keep the ads, they are necessary to keep the app streaming, i understand that and they should play only between songs. Thank you!..

I listen to all kinds of music, and this app allows me the luxury of picking representative stations of various music forms in my favorites. That said, the app really needs a way to customize the order of selected favorites, perhaps by adding a "move up/move down" option to each item in the list. If that feature is implemented, I'll give the app 5 stars.

It was fine before the podcast update, the full-screen ads give me a migraine. I try to pause and then an ad instantly pops up and suddenly I'm in the browser app. I'll take fewer ads over podcasts anyday, there's already dozens of other apps for podcasts. Uninstalling as soon as I find a replacement for radio. Edit: I can see there's an ad free version. I would consider purchasing if it were a one-time fee, but I'm not looking to get another subscription that I'll forget to cancel.

The first few days using the app was good, there's a lot of great content available from around the world. Then the ads and pop-ups started increasing in frequency. Had a notification pop up while I wasn't even running it asking "Hey, have you missed me?" Today I started seeing full page ads blocking the interface with no way to clear them, just an "open" button for whatever the link went to. Nope. I un-installed this app after seeing that. Not worth the hassle.

I am amending my previous review with this one. For the past couple of months, (feels like six months) i have been barraged with push ads DAILY!! I understand the need to advertise to pay for app, that's okay, but with daily push notifications, along with the ads while it's running, I have given up on this app. It is a very good product, I like it. But I cannot and will not recommend it to anyone because of the USER HOSTILE advertising methods for it. I am now Uninstalling this app!
