In the beginning when I first downloaded this app because another app was being discontinued. I liked the feature where I could see my oil status and life, mileage on my truck, how much fuel is in my truck, and a few other things without having to pay for a subscription. Now apparently, it's gone and I'm guessing I'll need to pay a subscription to even see those features. Even though before it was free and available. I have no use for this app anymore.

While the "trial" for most functions was valid, the app worked. As of yesterday the app doesn't work at all and has white screened. Which was oddly convenient when my truck was broken into (window smashed) and I received no notification nor could I see if there was anything detected. For the amount I paid for the truck I would expect to be notified via a functional app that my truck was vandalized.

Great to start, then super frustrating. Evidently, usage with your vehicle is a trial, which no one informed me of this. All of a sudden the app pops up a notification that the trial has expired but gives no option nor instructions on how to pay for the service. Annoying and very poor thought process from the decision makers of the app. As a developer, you have to think of the user. What will they do? How often will they use it? Do they know the system in and out like you do? (no).

It hardly ever updates. I filled up 3-4 days ago and it still shows my fuel level prior to fill up. I can't believe this is supposed to be a paid subscription after my 3 month trial. I definitely wouldn't spend that much, it should be free or maybe $3/month. Unrelated to the app but I also can't stand the remote start on the remote, my 2016 F-150 would blink a green light to let you know it actually started. This 2022 Ram only starts maybe half the time I try to use it and gives no notification.

The app is simple and easy to use for setup and display of Truck's features. When reading information from the ram connect system, it said nowhere about having to buy a prescription, and the dealers said it comes with the purchase of the truck. I believe that both were not"updated." You should be able to use more of the features than what you are able to use (heat, a/c, camera's, windows). Being DODGE Loyalty and a $75,000 plus truck, and you still want a monthly fee, doesn't CONNECT!!

I was extremely excited to find out about this app from a friend and downloaded it immediately. however, despite multiple attempts, I can't even get the VIN to scan. I tried to input the data manually also to no avail as the numbers won't even start to take into the app. finally, I tried contacting the customer service number only to be told that it was no longer a valid number. terribly disappointing

Doesn't even work, I tried to add my vehicle it just gives me an error saying "Error occurred while loading, please try again." Well I tried and even force stopped and cleared the cache and still nothing, in fact, it even pulls up my truck but when I try and click next it's just the same BS, just a word of advice don't replace a program unless you've actually worked all the bugs out, because, obviously you hired the wrong person to code for you.

Like others, was not informed of having to pay for this service when I bought the truck. I did end up subscribing after my trial period and app continued to work fine for a short while. Then there was about a week straight of issues. Was told to uninstall and reinstall, change my pin and drive around for 10 minutes and turn off truck. After doing this, it appears to be working again. For $15/month I don't know that it's worth the price. I will continue through winter and probably cancel.

Sometimes, the vehicle will not start, or it will not update the vehicle location. Also, it is pricey, unlike Ford, which has ot for free. UPDATE: NOW the app will not work without the update, but when you try and update it, nothing happens. Tried uninstalling and reinstall installing, and still nothing. Really about to cancel this itbis worthless.

App is poorly developed. Has trouble opening, logging in, and even functioning as described. There have been several times I attempted to remote start my truck and it said "started successfully" when it actually never did. Even now, I tried to log in and it tells me there is an update available and to install it in order to continue to use the features. You click update and it takes you to the play store where "uninstall" and "open" are the only options. So, I uninstall and reinstall. No luck.

I like the app but it did an update and I was no longer able to start, lock, locate, etc... and can't figure out how to get the features back, other than that I like how it gives me the health of the truck and when there are recalls or maintenance that needs to be done. Update, It was a mistake on my part, not keeping up with the subscription. Customer service is really good if you have problems like this or anything else you might need.

well, after several times of locking keys in the truck, thinking i could unlock from the phone for my spouse later, i learned the hard way not to do that. Customer support is super nice, and tried everything, but uconnect has issues and would not receive commands remotely. not many features may just be because my truck is a bighorn, not sure. 2/5 stars because more times than not truck will not respond to app.

Review update: Even after the app update, I'm still unable to see all the menu options. The main reason I wanted this application was so I can remotely start my truck but that feature isn't available. I'm about to uninstall forever. Unable to enter a VIN using the scan feature or manually. The application isn't accepting any characters when done mentally and just gives me a red line when trying to scan.

Terrible customer service. Somehow they ended up with a typo in the email used to register the vehicle in the app (they are blaming the dealership, but all of the paperwork I have from the dealer is correct). They have all of my other info correct, and have been corresponding using the correct email, so they do have it. They just refuse to correct the typo without having me email (irony) personal info and vehicle paperwork. That is their "process" and common sense is not considered.

The app is about useless. I never had remote start feature, I don't need the feature of locking and unlocking my vehicle as I have a key fob. when the subscription ran out it locked me out of the app. it didn't just disable the features I can no longer log in. I was not given any notice as to when it would expire until the day it expired. The features are limited and I can see no reason to pay for it. All the information it would give me I can get right from the vehicle itself.

I am revising an earlier review. I have had the 1500 Laramie now for 6 months. Turns out one of the Vin numbers was off and that's why I couldn't get it to load. Uconnect reps were extremely helpful and stayed with me until the issue was solved and I was COMPLETELY satisfied with the app and the features I paid for. Great people working for Uconnect. Glad I made the purchase for the 1500 larimie.

I wish this app was more interactive. Especially because you pay for a SiriusXM Guardian subscription. It's kind of ridiculous. Good idea, terrible execution. I would definitely recommend adding functions such as being able to remove vehicles from your account. Also, a link to get to subscription information such as the subscription type and payment methods. Just a thought.

I like the idea. I wish it did half of what it advertised reliably. it rarely updates the vehicle information. It is slow and chaotic to update dealer input from servicing. i was able to schedule my first oil change w the app, but then a 2nd service request didn't seem to go through & it didn't save my preferred dealer. in fact, right now it won't even show dealers on the search map. There are no search results no matter how I look at it. The possibilities should be endless w this tech.

App was fine in the beginning, but I've had tons of issues in the past few weeks. Sometimes it times out logging me in. Then, If I can get logged in and try to use any remote services, it just spins forever and never completes the request. Additionally, I haven't been able to send navigation destinations from the app to the truck. It just never receives it. Hopefully these issues can be resolved soon. It's kind of sad to pay for something I can't even use half the time.

No support for digital keys with Android, and slow to update location and vehicle health. RAM really missed the opportunity for a great app here. How about using the map and location to track a vehicle? Or allowing the option for power window operation? (it'd be nice to roll down a window on a hot day, or roll them up when it's raining) So many other lost possibilities.
